About a two-hour drive from Sapporo, the city of Furano is famous for its stunning lavender fields with views of Mount Tokachi in the background. We’re starting at a train station called Lavender Farm Station, and just like the name suggests, we’ll be walking to the nearby lavender fields. Alright, let’s get going!

Lavender is a smell I don't like but it looks pretty.

It has a resemblance to Provence in France. Good
In the US you would also start at Lavender Station, but it would just be an old shack where rails were removed 50 years ago and you would start walking on a car parking desert bigger than Tokyo station.
