主婦が解説!東京駅八重洲口
Hello everyone, thank you for visiting. This time, I would like to show you around Tokyo Station. it’s a station I use almost every day, so now I don’t get lost, but to be honest, when I first moved here, I was pretty lost. There are so many shops and similar scenery, so I feel like it took me a while to get used to it.Moreover , I’m not good at looking at maps, so it’s a station for me. This is a map of the 1st floor of Tokyo Station, which is difficult because it has a lot of information. The map is very detailed, so once you get used to it, you can understand it easily , but when you try to use it for shopping or eating, you get confused, so this time I made Avery simple map In fact, the structure of Tokyo Station is very simple. Platforms 1 to 10 are conventional lines. Lines 14 to 23 are the Shinkansen platforms 🚅 The reason why lines 20 to 23 are inside is because before, the Tohoku Shinkansen only ran to Ueno Station, so when extending the track to Tokyo Station, the line was placed outside of the Tokaido Shinkansen. Well, the order of the platforms is different, but the platforms other than the Keiyo Line, which is a little further away, run north and south, so it’s very easy to understand. If that’s the case, there are probably ticket gates in the east, west, north, and south, but there are no trains on the west side of Tokyo Station. There is no east exit ticket gate, so the north side of Yaesu is the Yaesu Exit and the west is the Marunouchi Exit, so the north side of Yaesu is the Yaesu North Exit, the middle of Yaesu is the Yaesu Central Exit, the south side of Yaesu is the Yaesu South Exit , and the opposite north side of Marunouchi is the Marunouchi North Exit, the middle of Marunouchi. The Marunouchi Central Exit is on the south side of Marunouchi, and the Marunouchi South Exit is on the south side of Marunouchi. There are also Shinkansen-only ticket gates such as Yaesu Central North Exit, Yaesu Central South Exit, and Yaesu South Exit, but they are adjacent to the conventional line ticket gates circled in yellow, so come out from the Shinkansen ticket gate. I don’t think there is much of a difference. Also , there is a Shinkansen Nihonbashi Exit ticket gate on the north side, but this time we are going to guide you to Yaesu, so I will omit it.In contrast, this ticket gate is underground, but the location is almost the same as the first floor ticket gate. However, there is no north or south exit ticket gate at the underground Yaesu Exit.Instead, there is a ticket gate called Gransta Underground North Exit. I briefly explained that you should be careful when meeting up , but if you just remember this positional relationship, you’ll be fine. Now , from here, I will guide you through the Yaesu Underground Mall from the Yaesu Exit ticket gate. The north and south directions of the map are laid out horizontally. Let’s head underground from the Yaesu Central Exit on the 1st floor. If you go down this escalator near the center of the station premises, you will find the ticket gate for the Yaesu Underground Central Exit. This time, we will exit from the Yaesu Central Exit on the 1st floor. When you exit the ticket gate first, you will see the Shinkansen ticket gate. It’s right next to the Tokaido Shinkansen Central Exit, so if you’re going outside from the central exit, you’ll have to exit through this ticket gate.Once you exit the ticket gate, go straight ahead and exit. The ticket gates at the Yaesu North Exit and Yaesu South Exit are also built in the same way. Once you get out of the ticket gate, go straight and you will be able to go outside.By the way, only the Yaesu Central Exit and Yaesu North Exit have escalators going down, so if you have a lot of luggage, we recommend going down from here. From here is Yaesu Underground Mall, commonly known as “Yae”. Although it is called the main street, there are not many shops lined up, but there is an information center with staff who can speak English at the back.I will also explain about the Yaesu south exit ticket gate . The Jusu South Exit ticket gate is a little smaller than the Central Exit ticket gate, but there is also a Tokaido Shinkansen ticket gate right next to it, so if you get off the Shinkansen on the south side, you will exit from here. Go outside in the same way as the Yaesu Central Exit. Let’s go out There are some stairs that go outside and go down to the underground mall, but if you are taking the JR express bus, the bus stop will be right in front of you as soon as you exit this ticket gate at the Yaesu South Exit.By the way, the ticket office is in the back right corner. Let’s go down to the underground mall from the entrance. If you are taking a bus from Tokyo Midtown, I think it will be faster to use this passage.Turn to the right and the bus information counter is at the back.I have never taken a bus from here yet, but it seems that it will be one of the largest express bus terminals in Japan in 2028.The bus stop is further down, on the 2nd basement floor🚌Let ‘s take a look at the restaurants on the 1st basement floor of Midtown.Standing sushi Nemuro Hanamaru 🍣Potama 🥚Starbucks ☕️Recently opened soba restaurant with green 🥗TORIBA COFFE relocated from Ginza ☕️There are free spaces here and there, so you can rest here while waiting for the bus.By the way, if you are going to Daimaru Tokyo, the Yaesu north exit is convenient. The escalator going down to Yaesu underground shopping center is also right next to Daimaru Tokyo . Let’s take a look at what kind of restaurants there are in Yaesu Underground Mall and Sotobori Chika 1st Street. The south side of Sotobori Chika 1st Street starts with Seven Eleven.Next to the very popular Sushiro, there is Tokyo Curry Quartet, but currently it is called Oku Shoten. Only 2 stores in Ginza Switzerland are open. Maneken 🇩🇪 Japanese food Suishin 🍶 There are always a lot of people lining up here, but please note that you can enter only after everyone has arrived. My Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 ACORN 🧀 This restaurant called Acorn is a bar, and the pasta for lunch is also really delicious. I received Doria on this day! I think it was shredded cheese, but the cheese smell was really nice. At Tokyo Station, there are many shops where you can drink alcohol from noon, so I’m really happy on holidays. Antenna America has 200 types of American craft beer on display 🇺🇸 Take a short break at Ichimi Rinrin Hamburger Works Goncha, famous for its gyoza 🍓🍓🍓😆 it was hot that day, so I had a strawberry apricot frozen tea🍓 Yaesu Book Center📕 Asahikawa Ramen Bangaijitate Sushi Sushi side 🍣 Next is Sotobori Underground 2nd Street, the longest in Yaechika. In addition to restaurants, this 2nd Street is lined with many shops, but there are so many that I will only introduce the restaurants. Thai Restaurant Tsukiji Sushiko🍣 Western Noodle Shop Goemon🍝 Korean and Okinawan restaurants are also lined up, “Oden Ya Takeshi” It’s run by Always Co., Ltd., which is famous for Gindako Sakaba. Soba restaurant Kushi no Taste Tohachi 🍺 You can eat Nagoya’s miso stewed udon. Shanghai cuisine Bairan Nagoya There are oyakodon (cod and egg rice bowls) made with Cochin, and it’s always crowded. Tori Sanwa, which everyone knows, “Ikinari Steak,” sake donki, and sweets Donki Italian Tomato. 🍝 Standing soba and curry shop 😆 On the north side of 2nd Street, at the back is Ramen Alley. Next up is Sotobori Underground 3rd Street, Hoshino Coffee Shop ☕️ An izakaya that is open from 7 a.m. Next to Hatsufuji, I would like to go back from 1st Avenue underground to 2nd Avenue. There is Hokkaido Foodist between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue 🍦 Since Yaesu has many offices, the restaurants are very crowded from 12:00 to 1:00 on weekdays, so if you are sightseeing, you may want to change the time. Starbucks☕️ Bubby’s continues to be loved in New York 🇺🇸 A popular restaurant for burgers and pancakes Yoshinoya Ginza Lion 🍺 Offal grilled/stewed Sanroku Chinese Cuisine Choranma Sakaba Popular Bar Kandaya At the end, there is a tonkatsu restaurant and a shabu-shabu restaurant, which is connected to Yaesu Underground 2nd Street. Let’s turn around Yaesu Underground 2nd Street Chaya freshly boiled noodles Beef tonge Negisgi is always popular Eric South 🍛 Cheap and hearty soba Miyota Nagahama is the main store specializing in fries Sanyo Shokudo Next, let’s take a look at the Yaesu Underground Central Exit ticket gate in the basement of the station campus. The Yaesu Underground Central Exit is located underground at almost the same location as Yaesu Chuo on the first floor that I mentioned earlier, so you can go down to the basement using the escalator. As soon as you exit the Yaesu Underground Central ticket gate, you will see the very popular Tokyo Okashi Land in front of you. On the right is Tokyo Ramen Street and the Japanese Gourmet Road, and on the left is Tokyo Character Street.Tokyo Tokyo Station has information signs below, so it’s easy to understand even for first-timers. No matter when you go to this street, there are a lot of people. Let ‘s take a look at the restaurants on the right from Tokyo Okashi Land. Standing sushi Kantaro 🍣 Sendai Beef tongue Mori You can eat piping hot Kiyoken Shumai BAR Toyama Shiroebitei Hiroshima Teppanyaki Lightning fast This is Ramen Street Kagawa Sanuki Mengyo (Sanuki Udon) Hakata Kanefuku Fukutake Kagoshima Kurokatsutei It was a street lined with Japanese shops.😆 Actually, if you turn this street, it connects to the Yaesu underground shopping mall, so you can come from the 1st floor ticket gate or the underground ticket gate. Now , I showed you around the underground shopping mall from the Yaesu exit ticket gate of Tokyo Station. What did you think? I usually post videos of my travels and packing, but lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions from overseas people about ticket gates at stations, so I made this video. I would be happy if I could be of some help to you in making your trip even a little bit more enjoyable. Next time we are planning on going to the Marunouchi exit. Please take a look. Thank you for watching today. Bonus: From here, we will guide you to the Keiyo Line using only subtitles. 😃 To transfer to the Keiyo Line, first aim for the Yaesu South Exit ticket gate! ! ! You need to be careful as people walk from all directions at Tokyo Station😱 Some people will jump out of this big pillar, so please be careful if you are a small child or elderly person. Some people purposefully bumped into me, and I was in a dangerous situation 😤 Now, when you see the Yaesu south exit ticket gate, turn right without exiting the ticket gate. Once you get this far, the rest is easy! I just keep walking 😆 there are people running down here as well, so please be careful. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the Keiyo Line platform. Here we finally reach the first basement floor 💦 After this, you will have to take a long escalator down to the 3rd basement floor, but there is no escalator to go down from the 3rd floor to the platform on the 4th basement, so if you have a stroller, it would be better to use the elevator earlier than the 1st basement floor. Also, if you can get out of the Yaesu ticket gate, you can also go to the Keiyo Line ticket gate from Yaechika. Next time, we are planning to take the Marunouchi exit of Tokyo Station.
