【劇場版・鬼滅の刃公開記念!】福島県にある温泉宿の大川壮さんを詳しく紹介!立体的なロビーは無限城そのもの!?予約が取りづらい大人気温泉宿です!

Hello everyone! We’re at Okawaso in Fukushima Prefecture! It takes about three hours by train from Tokyo Station, and five minutes by the inn’s shuttle bus from Ashinomaki Onsen Station. The building at the entrance is quite impressive!! Since most of the inns we use are small, we’re overwhelmed by the size of this place! There’s a waterfall at the entrance! It feels like a great amusement park! The entrance was already beyond my imagination. It has double doors. Wow! The lobby is huge! It’s hard to tell where the lobby ends! It has a very three-dimensional structure. There are also a lot of front desk staff. Next to the front desk is an amenity corner. My style is to bring only what I need, and only as much as I need. Cotton swabs, cotton Shower cap Hair ties, hair bands Tabi socks Hairbrush Razor Facial cleanser, cleansing cream, lotion, milky lotion There is a shelf for children’s amenities and yukata. It consists of three buildings: two buildings and an open-air bath building. First, let’s take a stroll around the first floor where the reception is. There is a bridge that crosses the building. There is a large fireplace. It’s a lovely modern design✨ At the lounge “Tonbo no Niwa”, in addition to the usual drinks you can drink sake or wine in 100ml increments with a special coin from the sake server. Let’s take a look at the souvenir shop. In addition to Japanese-style miscellaneous goods, there seems to be a lot of delicious Fukushima products. Food made with Fukushima ingredients Fruit liquor and Japanese sake A wide variety!! Regular drinks that aren’t souvenirs are also sold. Beer is sold by the case. I wonder if there are many guests who stay in groups? The thing that caught my eye the most was the plastic model of a traditional Akabeko fish! There are also vending machines for Häagen-Dazs and drinks, which is very convenient! Coffee milk in bottles. I miss it. There is a special place to make milk for babies. This is a great service for guests with babies. Great hospitality✨ There is also a smoking area. The facilities are similar to those you would find at an airport. There’s also an event hall. It looks like a place to hold a Bon Odori dance. On the first basement floor there’s a bar counter selling local sake. The facilities are so comprehensive, it’s amazing✨ I think it’s about time to head to my room. Yukatas in sizes S to XXL were available in the elevator hall. Look at the long hallway! You can see how spacious the building is. It’s bright thanks to the large windows. I’ve arrived at my room. I’m looking forward to seeing what my room is like♪ This room is the most affordable. Let’s start the room tour♪ Haori Yukata and towel Security box The bag you use to go to the bath is made of bamboo. Cute♡ There’s a TV and a direct phone line to the front desk. Sofa set Electric kettle Snack and tea set What is this? Tea bags. This is a coffee set Drip coffee. There’s a fridge under the shelf Oh, there’s water in there! What a relief! There are two Japanese-style outlets next to the bed. The light in the room is adjustable. The floor is barrier-free. There’s a sink inside, and it’s a very clean toilet. The entire wall is mirrored. Hair dryer and tissues Hand soap Glasses Toothbrush set Towel hanger The bathroom only has a shower. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner There’s a large public bath, so I don’t think I’ll need to use it. Outside the window of the room is a slope of trees. A large river flows below. The windows are double-glazed, either to protect against the cold or the sound of the river. Snack time begins! This is the kind of snack you’d find at a hot spring inn. It looks like a simple hot spring bun. The simpler something is, the tastier it is. The sweet bean paste in this hot spring bun was delicious. The combination of bun and Japanese tea So relaxing! Actually, it’s not relaxing at all! I have a reservation for a private hot spring bath, so I’m going to hurry to the hot spring! It’s called the open-air bath in the sky. It’s currently in use. That’s me!! There’s a 45-minute time limit, so I’ll hurry to get there!! It’s beautiful, but it looks like an old-fashioned wooden building. The creaking sound of the floor is nostalgic. There’s a rest area, probably because the view is so good. There’s more, so excuse me for fast-forwarding. There are 123 steps, and I can see that there’s a rest area lol There’s a restroom. Thank goodness. It’s tough to go back up to the top to use the toilet. The bath seems to be still downstairs. I’m curious, so I take a peek inside the room. The front window gives a good view of the outside. The Okawa River is so beautiful✨ I was taking it too slowly. I’ll hurry. I’ve arrived. The old-fashioned atmosphere of the signboard and noren curtains is great! I was given the key to the men’s bath. That’s a nostalgic scale. Since it’s not reserved for private use in the morning, the changing room is spacious. Let’s take a bath! Wow, it’s spacious!! It’s too big for one person to use. It’s so spacious that no one can enter. Soap and other items are not allowed in this bath to protect the environment. The temperature of the source seems to be over 60 degrees, so I think the temperature is adjusted by adding water. It doesn’t have a sulfurous smell, it’s colorless, and it’s easy to enter. I check the other bath to see if there’s anything different. There’s no difference in temperature, so it seems to be the same hot spring. The roof is sturdy and framed, probably because it gets a lot of snow in the winter. There’s a blind hanging all around, so you can’t see the view outside. I try to look at the view outside the blind. It can be seen from a big bridge, so it’s no wonder there’s a blind. Anyone can take a bath in the morning. The master’s shamisen concert will begin at 4pm on the stage in the lobby. Water flows like a river on the first basement floor. Water flows under the stage, and the stairs and walkways are three-dimensional. It’s a complex and very impressive piece of architecture. This is a pamphlet from Okawaso. I’m happy with the composition as it is lol You can only go down to the basement at the end of the performance. Your shamisen teacher is wonderful!! ♡ The performance is over. It must be hard to play for two hours. Thank you for the wonderful performance. We’ll have dinner at the restaurant. There is a large hearth. Soft drinks are all-you-can-drink! There are several kinds of oolong tea and fruit drinks. There are various types of alcohol, such as beer, whiskey, cocktails, and wine. I don’t drink alcohol, so I don’t know if it’s expensive… The meal course is seven dishes. The appetizers were three small dishes of seasonal vegetables and tofu made with soy milk. The course also included a hotpot. Let’s eat! The appetizers were dishes made with spring vegetables and tofu. Mung bean yuba. I like yuba, but I don’t eat it at home, so I’m happy♪ I love shrimp sashimi. It’s sweet and delicious♡ This hotpot uses Hayama Kogen pork, which is “limited production” from designated farmers in Fukushima Prefecture. Since it’s pork, it needs to be cooked thoroughly. Each slice is quite filling! The other ingredients, such as soy milk mochi and bamboo shoots, were also delicious. The soup arrived. Is this Brussels sprouts? It says “shinjo” on the menu, but it looks like tamagoyaki lol The main dish is a sirloin steak made from domestic beef, or grilled seafood such as yellowtail and shrimp. Make sure the butter is melted and grill the meat. What a nice sound~♡ The grilled meat is then served with sauce. Mix it well with the sauce and enjoy! My companion shared some yellowtail with me. It was meaty and had a texture similar to tuna. Instead of rice, we got soba noodles. I’m glad the portion isn’t too large. It’s also nice that it comes with tempura👍 A cute dessert arrived. The pudding was two-layered. Personally, I was grateful that the amount wasn’t too much. It seems that events other than shamisen will be held on the stage in the lobby! This song is a must-have! I’m so happy to be able to hear this song in this place♡ There is a foot bath on the balcony facing the valley. All I can see is darkness. That’s all for today. Good night. The next day, I took some photos of the large bath in between cleaning sessions, so I’d like to share them with you! The large bath is on the first floor. In front of the large bath, there was also a professional-looking beauty salon. The open-air bath at Okawaso is apparently arranged like rice terraces, and I’m looking forward to seeing it. It’s a big inn, so there are plenty of lockers. There are five sinks. There’s also a powder room without a sink. Cleansing lotion, toner, milky lotion There are also a few other samples. There’s also a water server. There’s a machine that massages the soles of your feet. Feels good! It seems to be for sale, and can be purchased for 28,800 yen. I’ll show you the large bath!! It’s bigger than the open-air bath in the sky! The bathtub is huge!! Apparently, the hot spring water comes out from here. Check the temperature. Water is added to adjust the temperature. There are also many shower booths. Facial cleanser, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in each shower booth. The open-air bath is located at the bottom of the stairs. The hot spring water apparently bubbles up from the bottom of the bathtub. It’s so open! As explained, the baths are lined up at different heights like rice terraces. I wonder if the quality of the springs is the same as the indoor bath. Apparently, the water in the upper bath doesn’t flow into the lower bath. It’s an unusual layout, isn’t it? You have to go down a slope to get to the lower bath. Is this Cappadocia? I love it! Unfortunately, I can’t go in because I’m wearing clothes! Nice view. The website says that the temperature is controlled by the bath attendant. I think it must be really beautiful in the colorful seasons when the leaves change color! At Okawaso, you can enjoy a low-temperature sauna similar to a bedrock bath. I take a towel and step inside. The calm lighting makes it easy to relax☺ I lay down on my towel. My body warms up from the inside, and I start to sweat. This is a low-temperature sauna for men. Here, we lie down in a radial pattern. I worked up a good sweat and felt refreshed. Breakfast was served buffet style in the restaurant. There were so many guests that I couldn’t show them on camera, but it was a large, luxurious venue. The bread made with domestic wheat looks delicious. The spoon-like bite-sized bowls were cute. Western dishes such as scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and quiche Japanese dishes such as simmered dishes Salad Fruit Dessert Besides coffee, Milk Apple juice, orange juice, etc. are also available. Aizu chicken egg rice corner!! I definitely want to try it!! The staff will put the rice in the bowl. The yolks are lined up! The egg whites are made into meringue. The meringue is placed on top of the rice. Apparently the egg yolk is placed on top of that. It’s roasted over a burner!!! This is the first time I’ve seen egg on rice! I’m sure it sounds like it’s good for my health, so I’ll have some. I don’t eat much in the morning, so I only had a small amount. The main dish was raw egg on rice!! The color of the yolk was very vivid. It looked fresh. It was a little confusing because it was different from the usual raw egg on rice lol The meringue had a strange texture, but the eggs were fresh and delicious. What did you all think? I had a lot to introduce, so I was busy filming! lol Next time I come, I’ll take it easy.
