鹿児島県霧島市の霧島神宮駅 周辺では、リニューアルプロジェクトが進行中です。駅から少し登って行くとお洒落なエリアがあり、以前 国分にあったお気に入りのイタリアン「トラットリア シン」 もこちらに移転され、「Restaurant megui 」として2025年4月オープンされました。以前にも増して洗練されたお料理の数々に、魅了された2時間でした 。
店名の Megui には、人・文化・伝統から生まれる食の 巡り (鹿児島弁で めぐい)をコンセプトに新たな料理を霧島から発信するという、榎田シェフの想いが詰まっています。
定休日は、月曜日・火曜日。テーブル席10席で、食材準備、確保の為、3日前までの予約が必要です。インスタグラムに予約フォームがあります。

お料理は、ランチ，ディナーともに8,800（税込)。鹿児島を中心に当日の食材で組み立てる8品〜9品のお任せコースのみ。ランチは12:00(一斉スタート)〜15:00、ディナーは19:00(一斉スタート)〜22:00。実際にはランチは2時間ちょっとでした。
