Kitaibaraki Goura Kanko Hotel This time, we will take a car to a nice hot spring inn overlooking the sea of Kitaibaraki , about 30 minutes from the Kitaibaraki Interchange. You can get there by car from JR Isohara Station or Otsuko Station in 15 minutes.There is also a shuttle service from the nearest station , so if you don’t have a car , you don’t have to worry.Hello , this is Tesutoku Travel.This time we will start from Kitaibaraki, where the scenery is beautiful. I’m really looking forward to eating delicious monkfish hotpot.If you aim for the beautiful tea room Rokkakudo on the Goura coast, which is also known as the Matsubara of the Kanto region, you will arrive without hesitation.The parking lot is free and spacious and you can park without any problems . Let’s check in quickly.The front desk was empty , but there seemed to be a lot of customers checking in , so we waited for our turn in the lobby at the back.The hotel itself seems to be very large, and was crowded with customers.The lobby had a beautiful view , and as I was staring at it, it was my turn in no time.Let ‘s head straight to our rooms.This time ‘s room was The Japanese-style room on the second floor facing the ocean The inside of the building is very spacious and intricate, so I almost got lost until I got to the room.Let ‘s go.Open the DoorThe entrance is compact.The shoe rack is also spacious enough.There is a washroom in front of the entrance.This is also beautiful. The tiles are shiny. There’s hand wash, face wash, a toothbrush, a shower cap , cotton , and a razor . The dryer is Panasonic’s usual Ionity. This is safe. It’s compact and perfect. It’s a good size. It’s next to the sink. There are four shiny cups inside . There ‘s also a bottle opener and something like that. There’s already drinks and alcohol inside . Soft drinks are sold for 300 yen, and medium bottles of beer are sold for 800 yen. Of course, it’s very cold and some areas are open. This is the toilet right after you enter. It’s a very clean and cute toilet with a retro-looking wall . Of course it has a washlet, and the warm toilet seat will keep you from getting cold. The one next door is the bath. The bath is also clean . It’s small, but you probably won’t use it . It comes with body soap, shampoo, and conditioner . The main room is here! It’s so beautiful . It’s so beautiful. It’s really beautiful. The Rokkakudo is right in front of you . The view from here is also really beautiful. You can also see the retro scenery of this inn. It’s a very beautiful place. Now, let’s relax in our room while looking at the beautiful scenery. Now, let’s spend this moment in the Kanpai Ryokan zone. I love Ochazuke, which was chock-full of red bean paste and was really delicious.Now that we were refreshed by the beautiful scenery , let’s go explore the inside of the building.First , we returned to the fourth floor where the front desk is.There ‘s a shop here.Let ‘s take a look.Let’s start with the sweets corner.Local sweet and salty sweets. There are a lot of things to buy.They also sell snacks, so it’s nice to buy them and eat them in your room.There ‘s a wide variety of souvenirs, so you’re sure to find something you like.There ‘s also a skin care corner, so don’t worry if you forget something.There ‘s also a lot of local sake and beer, so you’ll definitely want to check it out. Colorful clothes are lined up in the women’s clothing corner.There was also a cute local character, Kou-chan, who seemed to have been lured away by an old man named An-chan.In front of the shop , there is Cafe Shioshin.They seem to serve matcha green tea, so I went there early. Let’s go quickly. This is the matcha tea served. It’s nice that they also come with small sweets. The sweet sweets , combined with the bitter matcha, give you a breather . There are spacious sofa seats in the back , and in the evening , it seems like you can do karaoke with reservations. Next to the lobby. The smoking corner was well separated and there was no odor. I also found an alcohol vending machine on the 4th floor. Beer is quite expensive at 600 yen for a large beer and 400 yen for a small beer. Soft drinks are a bit pricey. There was an ice cream vending machine next to the shop, so it might be a good idea to eat it after taking a bath.Next , there is an observation deck on the roof, so let’s go there.After taking the elevator up to the 10th floor, this view was waiting for us.We are surrounded by the sea, and the breeze feels great.It ‘s a different view from the room . On a sunny day , it’s perfect.The sixth floor is the Diamond Palace Taikan tomorrow’s breakfast venue.It seems to be also used for large conferences and exhibitions.There is a restaurant on the third floor , but it seems to be open until noon.Finally , let’s walk past the front desk and go to Taikan no Yu.Go through this long hallway. This is the entrance to the building where the hot spring is located.There is a beauty salon corner and rest room inside, and there is also an outside terrace where you can cool down after bathing.After replenishing your hydration with the water dispenser , you can go straight into the hot spring.There are two open-air baths, one large and one small, and you can see the sea from both and enjoy the hot spring while feeling the sea breeze . It wasn’t too hot, so it felt good to warm up from the inside of your body.The public bath also has a large window, so you can slowly soak in the hot spring while looking out at the sea.Of course , amenities such as shampoo and conditioner are also provided.The atmosphere of the large public bath in the main building has completely changed, and it is now a hot spring in a Japanese garden where you can enjoy the view of the waterfall.If you ask the front desk staff, they will send a car to take you to the hotel. It might be nice to enjoy a tour of the hot springs inside . After taking a slow soak in the bath , it was already pitch dark. I was getting hungry , so let’s head straight for dinner . We’ll have dinner here . When we entered, the rice was already ready. There was a nice aroma. We had a konnyaku salad with duck meat and tomatoes, and three appetizers . All of them seemed to go well with alcohol. They had mushrooms in them. There is also monkfish hotpot that I wanted to eat with kamameshi ! I’m looking forward to it. I’m glad that it comes with an aperitif. The alcoholic beverages I ordered arrived. I went with the Japanese sake set. Tesuku seems to have a local beer . The packaging is also cute. Let’s eat it right away. The salad is served with sesame dressing. The konnyaku also has a strong tomato flavor. The duck is also smoked, and it has a nice aroma in your mouth. It’s very delicious. The turban shells were also very tasty with a lot of meat.The soup had a strong soup stock, and I drank it all.The tofu also had a jiggling sesame sauce, and was very smooth and delicious.There was a lot of fish in it , and it was refreshing and very delicious.The sashimi also arrived.I was glad that there was a wide variety of shrimp, tuna, sea bream, and shellfish.Perhaps because there is a fishing port nearby, all the fish were delicious. It was fresh and had a lot of flavor. The shellfish was crunchy and the fish had a sweet taste. It was the best . The stewed golden sea bream also arrived. The color was beautiful. The meat was packed tightly and the seasoning was strong. It was the kind of simmered golden sea bream that I like. Mexicali and vegetable tempura also arrived.This is Mexicali tempura.I’m going to eat it.It ‘s tender.It’s very delicious.The vegetables were fried to a crisp, and I ate it all.While I was doing this, it seems that the monkfish hotpot was made.It looks simmering and delicious.When you think of Ibaraki, you think of monkfish.In this winter season, the meat is on top.I eat it.It ‘s tender, and the flavor of the liver is bursting out. The monkfish fruit is full of collagen and plump. It ‘s good for your beauty and delicious, so it’s the best. I wanted to eat monkfish hotpot every day. The shrimp and seasonal vegetables were cooked together. It was so beautiful. The flavor of the broth was gentle on the shrimp and vegetables , and it was really delicious. It looked beautiful and cute, and it really felt like I was eating a jewelry box. It looks like the kamameshi has been cooked too, please ! It ‘s amazing mushroom and clam rice. After soaking in the hot springs and feeling refreshed, let’s head to breakfast.Let’s have breakfast at Tiremond Palace Taikan.The venue is very large and crowded with many people.Seating is fixed style.Here ‘s breakfast.Hot spring egg , hijiki, whitebait, ganmodo, ham salad, and tofu.The contents are grilled mackerel. It looked browned and delicious.Natto and tea were served as a service.The natto was local natto.I was looking forward to it.Drinks included tea and coffee.Two types of rice.White rice and wakame seaweed. You can choose your rice, and of course you can have a second helping.It ‘s a healthy breakfast that will keep you full and have a good appetite.The miso soup has a nice miso aroma . When I opened this natto, which I was looking forward to , there were a lot of large natto inside.As expected from Ibaraki, it has a strong stickiness, and it looks like it will be delicious even if I eat all of it . It’s crunchy and healthy starting in the morning.The side dishes are ones that go well with rice, so you’ll need a second helping.The grilled fish was also plump and delicious.I think I had natto rice for my second bowl.It ‘s made with soybeans, so it has a strong umami flavor. Yes, it’s amazing. This is definitely a dish that you must eat when you come here. Now, how about it? It’s like homemade tofu. Yes, the third bowl of noodles is egg-kaki rice with hot spring eggs . There are so many side dishes here that you can eat multiple meals at a time. They’re all delicious. 今回は以前から気になっておりずっと行けなかった念願のお宿「五浦観光ホテル別館大観荘」を紹介します！茨城県北茨城市の五浦海岸、六角堂が有名な茨城県を代表する景勝地に昭和50年に開業した老舗旅館。
