Let’s go inside and take a look at the front desk. This is the entrance lobby. It is quite spacious with an open ceiling. And the front desk is on the right. There is also a sofa and table next to the front desk where you can take a short break. There is also a tourist map. I checked in and came to the 4th floor where I will be staying today. By the way, I was able to check in easily with a tablet. Now, the hallway looks like this. It has a very calm atmosphere. I will be staying in room 402 today. It is a card key and has an auto-lock. Now, open! The door was the type that you pull forward. So it looks like this when you go inside. Okay, so I went into the room. Today, I’m staying at Hotel Ace, which is right off the Beppu Interchange on the highway. Let me show you the inside of the room. I entered the entrance. This is the entrance, or rather the inside of the room. It’s simple, but here are the slippers for indoor use. Then, there are your shoes, and when you turn around, you’ll see the door. Now, let’s go inside the room. Wow! It’s so spacious. It looks like this. It used to be a love hotel (a Japanese-style accommodation facility for adults for the purpose of sexual activity), but it has been renovated into a hotel that anyone can use. I’ll start by introducing the bedside. The lighting. Here, you can see the air conditioning control, which is convenient because you can adjust it from the bedside. There are stylish stands like this on both sides, which are quite cute. The walls are gray and have a calm atmosphere. And there is a note here, and a desk clock here. Now, as for the bed, today, two of us are staying. So, we chose a twin room. There are two single beds. How does the pillow feel when you turn over the futon? Wow! It’s soft. This is my favorite type of pillow. By the way, the back of the pillow… is the same soft type of pillow. It looks very comfortable to sleep on. And the mattress is very thick. You can see that blue mountain in front of you. This is Ogiyama. And this is the entrance to the Beppu Interchange on the expressway . It connects to the expressway from here. It’s right there when you get off the expressway! It’s a great location for those who come by car. And the day spa facility “Sakurayu” mentioned earlier is just a short walk away. I’ll go to makobe later. Well, this location is great because you can take a bath in the hot spring. Now, I’ll introduce the bath and sink in the room. There is an air purifier right after entering the room. Now, open this door and you’ll be in the bathroom. This is also very spacious!! The interior has a calm feel after the renovation. And, isn’t this mirror also pretty good? It has a calm atmosphere and is cool. And in front is the sink. Is this hand soap? Oh, it looks like you can wash your face with this product. And also the amenities toothbrush and hair tie. Then there is a cotton set. And this towel is nice. A hairbrush and a razor, oh, a skin care set, this is also nice. Let’s open it. What does it look like? I think it has everything? I’m happy. This is a full set. It has lotion, makeup remover, face wash and lotion. And this is milky lotion. It was completely renovated in July last year and reopened as a regular hotel. I think the interior is very stylish, and considering that makobe is about the same price as a business hotel, and the size and many free services, I think it’s very cheap. Since I got a ticket for the hot spring, I’ll go to take a bath. After leaving the hotel and crossing the traffic light at this intersection, you will see a Family Mart. Then, go up the mountain side at that corner and you will arrive at “Sakurayu”. Makobe has used this hot spring several times , and there is a family bath, and the large public bath, which I also used on this day, is very spacious and easy to use. It was really hot that day, so I came to this hot spring right after introducing the room , but it is usually used by families and couples. Therefore, the parking lot is always full of cars, but I would like to introduce it with a photo on the homepage. There is also an open-air bath in the large public bath. And the family bath is charged separately, but if there is a vacant bath, you can use it by paying the fee. There is also a souvenir corner and a cafe space. Well, since I took a bath, it was time for an early dinner, so I went to a nearby Italian restaurant called “Ao no Jikan”. I’ve introduced this restaurant in a previous video, but I wanted to introduce a different restaurant today, but it was closed, so I came to Ao no Jikan on a whim. So, I’ll have some “Kaan Pai”. A beer after a hot spring bath is just the best. Delicious! I’m having dinner alone today, and the person inside was going to come later for work, so I ate alone. First, I had a prosciutto salad. The fresh, crunchy salad, the prosciutto, and of course these shiitake mushrooms, were thick and delicious. Yes, and in the morning, there is a breakfast service, so I went down to the community room on the second floor. You take your breakfast ticket to the counter and exchange it for a lunch box. If you ask the staff, they will prepare it for you. This time, it’s a sandwich, so I could take it back to my room and eat it, but since I’m here, I’d like to eat it in the community room. Wow, wow. ８階建ての建物は、１フロアに５室と少ない分、各部屋のスペースは広くなっています。
元オトナのホテル🏩だったとは、思えないほど清潔感があって落ち着いた雰囲気✌
お部屋は、快適に過ごせるような空間になっており、照明や空調、USB電源などはベッドサイドに。
各部屋に冷蔵庫に電子レンジ、ケトルがあり、テーブルもあるので、ゆっくり滞在できます。
そしてお風呂は湯船も洗い場もすごく広い上、入浴剤も完備でゆっくり入浴できます！

ホテルは、別府八湯の中でも「堀田温泉郷」にあります。
お部屋の広いお風呂でも十分ですが、温泉を楽しみたい方には、ホテル近くの日帰り温泉「桜湯」の大浴場入浴券がサービスでいただけます。
コンビニもファミリーマートが近くにあります。

この日、makobeは桜湯を利用、食事は近くの「碧の時間」を訪れて、イタリアンを満喫しました。ホテル周りの食事処の数は限られていますので、あらかじめ別府名物をテイクアウトするかコンビニで調達という方法もあります。

【宿泊してみて…】
宿泊してみた感想としては、まず、車で別府を訪れる方には滞在拠点として便利。
別府の宿泊料金は高騰してきている中、特に連泊、長期滞在にこのコスパの高さは魅力的！
ビジホと比較しても遜色ない施設サービスに加えて、部屋やお風呂の広さは、全国チェーンのビジホでは提供できない環境でした。
フロント、朝食サービスのスタッフの方々も明るく丁寧に対応していただき、安心して利用することができました😆
別府に何度も訪れる方、ビジネス利用の方にも便利がよいと思いますヨ😆
