Hello 🦭 Starting today, I’m going on a 1 night and 2 day trip to Asahikawa! This trip I used JR instead of a car 🚝 I usually travel by car within Hokkaido, so this feels fresh ☺️ I bought and issued tickets online in advance Tickets can be issued in advance, so you can move smoothly on the day✨ This is the beginning of our trip to Asahikawa on JR🤗 I don’t usually use JR trains, so I’m not sure if I’m waiting in the right place 🙃 It takes about an hour and a half to get from Sapporo Station to Asahikawa Station by express train! The cost was 2,860 yen per person and we were able to reserve a reserved seat, so we didn’t have any trouble finding a seat! I reserved it through a website called Ekinet and got it for half price 🤗 You can also go by bus, but I got a cheap ticket so I took the JR this time 🫡 Because it was a weekday, there were few people and the train was comfortable I’m really glad I got a reserved seat 😌 While on the move, I was relaxing and eating sweets 🍪 Trains have a different advantage over cars 😎 It was so comfortable that I could even edit videos When we left Sapporo, the scenery was very beautiful🌲 Hokkaido is still covered in snow in March❄️ I had a great time enjoying the scenery and nature At the station, various animals welcomed us 😌 Asahikawa Station is open and very beautiful! The color of the wood is cute and warm 🪵 There are plenty of places to sit, so you won’t have any trouble waiting The weather was great for traveling☀️ I’m hungry so let’s go for lunch 😊 I did a lot of research on Asahikawa gourmet food in advance🔍 The shops are concentrated in front of the station, so you can enjoy it even if you don’t have a car 😚 It was more comfortable than Sapporo because there were fewer people First, let’s go eat the classic Asahikawa ramen 🍜 After walking for about 10 minutes from the station, I arrived at an alley with an atmosphere 🙄 It has a Showa era feel to it Hachiya Gojo Founding Store There were two identical stores in front of the station The stores don’t have the same closing days, so you can visit either one! There were a lot of signs on display in the store ✍️ There are many seats, so I was able to get in right away even though it was lunchtime 😉 Asahikawa Ramen is famous for its soy sauce flavor 🙂 The soup is an original soup made with burnt lard When ordering, you can choose whether you want regular or strong lard! I had heard beforehand that people’s tastes would be divided, but it didn’t bother me at all 😋 The volume of chashu was amazing😳 It’s lean meat with little fat, so it’s easy to eat 🥩 The aroma of the soup made from pork bones and horse mackerel is also exquisite 🤤 It is topped with a large piece of pork slices, seasoned egg, and green onions! This one also has a lot of meat and is very satisfying to eat The seasoned egg was also soft and delicious 🤤 The meat is well seasoned, so it goes well with rice 🤭 I couldn’t imagine what it would taste like before I ate it It was a taste that I wanted to eat regularly 😊 It wasn’t greasy and I finished it in no time! Thank you for the meal 🙏 There are other delicious ramen restaurants in Asahikawa, so I’ll go back and eat there again 😙 Since I had some time before check-in, I went to a cafe I wanted to go to ☕️ This place is also located in front of the station, so it’s perfect for sightseeing! I got some water in a wine glass, so let’s have a toast 😂 The menu was quite extensive, both in terms of food and drinks 🥰 I ordered an almond latte and an iced coffee I’m happy that the amount is larger than I expected ☺️ It’s the best drink to have after traveling or walking a lot ♪ The seats are spacious so you can relax I came to this restaurant to eat this parfait 😏 I unexpectedly came across a seal parfait 🦭 It must be some kind of fate that we met here😳 This product was created with the image of the spotted seals at Asahikawa Zoo in mind 🫶 The face and color are so cute 🥹✨ The black sesame ice cream is refreshing and easy to eat, and it’s packed with fresh cream! It’s packed with contents so it’s more voluminous than it looks 😇 I feel a bit embarrassed to eat your adorable face 🥹 It was the perfect size for two people to share 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♀️ You can also eat your favorite shiratama, making this a very satisfying dish 😊 The food looked delicious so I’d like to go for lunch next time! Sweets and drinks are perfect for replenishing sugar 👌 I arrived at the hotel where I will be staying this time🏨 I’ve been wanting to stay here ever since I decided to go to Asahikawa! Check-in was smooth thanks to advance online registration The concept is “an urban hotel that’s more than just a place to sleep; it’s a place to raise the excitement of your trip.” The interior design and furniture are lovely and comfortable! There is a cafe bar in the hotel, so I will visit it later🍺 Amenities were self-service I just take what I need and head to my room 🙂 Once you’ve packed your bags, it’s time to explore the hotel No matter how many times I travel, I still get nervous before entering the room🤭 I stayed in a studio room This room is for two people and is compact in size! The hotel also provides indoor clothing that you can wear to breakfast and the hot springs I was also happy to see that each bed had an electrical outlet 😙 I thought the glasses in the room were cute so I’d like to introduce them to you🐻‍❄️ I fell in love at first sight with the polar bear design🐻‍❄️ There is a large public bath, but the room also has a bath🛁 I’m also looking forward to the hotel sauna 🧖‍♀️ There were many events and services in line with the hotel’s concept All of them will help you enjoy Asahikawa even more I thought this was the perfect hotel for sightseeing💯 I want to enjoy my time in the room so I’m taking a short break 😮‍💨 The view was great and it became my favorite room! Cute animals welcomed us at the entrance 🧸 You can receive a free guide to help you enjoy the sauna even more🧖‍♀️ He also seems to explain about other recommended gourmet foods and zoos There is a shop next to the counter where you can purchase souvenirs If you don’t have much time, it might be a good idea to buy it at the hotel! They also sold “Kuranama”, a snack that represents Asahikawa! We also sell non-food products Products such as cups and cosmetics are also likely to become memories I also found some super cute souvenirs that are unique to Asahikawa 👀 I recommend the sauna hat that lets you transform into an animal🤣 There were some things you wouldn’t find in a normal hotel👀 There is a sutra copying practice book, which may be for people overseas or for a change of pace during work✏️ I’ll try it out and calm my mind 🙃 I once again find it difficult to write 📝 It seemed like it would be good for remote work💻 There is also a reading space! There was a wide variety of genres, so it seems like a good place for families too 😉 I’ll prepare for the zoo I’m going to tomorrow The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior and layout are very tasteful This time, we didn’t pack our schedule too tightly, so we were able to enjoy the hotel to the fullest ☺️ A relaxing trip is also great I’m already falling in love with this hotel✨ I think I’ll be having the breakfast buffet here tomorrow Seafood and waffles are popular so I can’t wait until tomorrow morning 🤤 There is also a welcome drink for tourists🥤 Interesting idea coming out of the faucet When I went there, the drink was corn tea🌽 Another recommended point is that you can drink drinks that are typical of Hokkaido 🤭 It changes with each season so it’s something to look forward to every time you come! It’s caffeine-free and the flavor of corn is addictive ☺️ The gourmet food around the hotel is perfect if you look here 👌 There are so many shops that you can feel at ease even if you come without a plan There was also a service where the hotel staff guided us around the shops😆 For dinner, we went to “Jiyuken” which was also featured in “Solitary Gourmet” ☺️ I’m a big fan of Goro-san so I’m happy to be here 😇 I heard it was very popular, so I came as soon as it opened It was just after the store opened so I was able to enter without waiting Jiyuken is a long-established Western restaurant with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere I also found the Goro set that actually appeared in the drama 👀 The shop gave me a sense of security, like home 😌 There were many attractive menu items, but I ordered the most popular dish, meat rice🐖 Pork chap made from large, thick pieces of pork The flavor seemed more like sauce than ketchup! It’s full of fat and pork flavor 🥰 It was so rich that it rivaled the taste of the sauce🤤 The set also came with miso soup and pickles! The meat is soft and the onions have a nice crunchy texture ✨🫶 The Goro set comes with a crab cream croquette and two fried Atka mackerel 🦀🐟 There is also tartar sauce, but let’s start with the sauce 🙏 Both are freshly fried and have a crispy batter The Hokke fries are plump and juicy👍 The more you eat it, the more you’ll want rice🍚 The crab cream croquette with white sauce was delicious 😋 It’s very rich, so it goes well with tartar sauce ◎ I was able to fully enjoy the crab meat and it was very satisfying Both dishes are delicious and it’s no wonder this restaurant is so popular ☺️ There were many foreigners, Japanese tourists, and even locals The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff made it a place I would like to visit again Thank you for the meal 🙏 If you are having trouble deciding what to do in Asahikawa, be sure to give this a try! 🤭 My stomach is full and I’m filled with happiness🌸 If you like alcohol, there is a bar district nearby It looks like you can enjoy Asahikawa while enjoying some alcohol 🍻 I bought some sweets to eat at the hotel on the way home 🍫 I don’t drink alcohol, so let’s toast with soft drinks 🥤 We’re ready to relax and enjoy our time at the hotel! Unlike regular guarana, it has a mature taste and flavor 🫧 The iced latte was delicious with a bitter taste The food menu I ordered has arrived! I’ll have it🙏 I wasn’t familiar with gravy sauce so I was a bit nervous when I ordered it 😳 It’s a sauce made using meat juices, and I think it’s similar to demi-glace sauce! The gravy sauce is more juicy 🫠 Spicy nuts have a strong salty taste, and go well with alcohol🥜 The potatoes are delicious, both in sauce and on their own🍟 It was packed with potatoes and nuts so I felt like I got a good deal🥜 I would like to try other dishes using gravy sauce It tastes the best when washed down with carbonated water 🤤 There weren’t many people, so it was a relaxing space I squeezed some lime to add more citrus flavor🍋‍🟩 The sweetness is modest so the aftertaste is refreshing🌿 For me, the best part of traveling is eating delicious food, so I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Asahikawa, eating lots of delicious food This is why I can’t stop traveling The rest of the time is spent relaxing in the room 🛌 The good thing about my wife and I is that we can have fun without alcohol 🥹 Let’s drink it in a cute glass The room was compact but that was great! It was a relaxing space where I could spend my time as usual in a good way 😆 It was a type of room I’d never stayed in before, but I was able to stay there without any stress It was a great day for the two of us to spend time together Take it easy and rest up, and enjoy the second day as well Good night😴 It seemed like it snowed while I was sleeping ☃️ The plan includes breakfast, so I’ll eat at the hotel in the morning🍽️ I was able to go as soon as I woke up because I was able to move around in my indoor clothes Breakfast is served buffet style, and many people stay just to eat breakfast! We have a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes on the menu 🥰 Classic bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausages 🥓🥚 The hotel’s recommended freshly baked waffles 🧇 Can also be used as a meal with salmon or salad You can eat it as a dessert using jam or fruit🍇 I can’t decide whether to eat Japanese food or Western food 😕 The menu is more extensive than expected, and people of all ages will be satisfied Another recommendation is the seafood and mountain wasabi bowl!! Just thinking about the combination of Hokkaido’s specialty seafood and mountain wasabi makes me think it’s going to be delicious 😋 There are seven kinds of jam, and the yogurt creme fouette looks delicious too 🍓🍑 Personally, I was interested in bread and sweets 🫣 A visual that doesn’t look like a breakfast buffet!
✨ There are also plenty of Hokkaido-style and refreshing drinks available Waffles were a must-try🧇 I also crave miso soup with nameko mushrooms in it in the morning🍄‍🟫 In the end, I wanted to eat a lot, so I ended up having a mix of Japanese and Western food I decided to try the waffles meal style! I’m the type of person who wants to try the recommended or famous foods first 😂 The waffles were cooked right in front of us by the staff The balance between the saltiness of the salmon and the sweetness of the waffles is exquisite The taste of mountain wasabi after eating seafood is addictive They will also adjust the amount of wasabi so you can ask for less👍 I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat much because it was morning, but it was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating 두 번째 잔의 산 와사비 덮밥은 차 절임으로 받았습니다 🙏 It would be a waste to stay at OMO7 and not eat breakfast The great thing about buffets is that you can try a variety of different things in small portions 🙆 The peach sauce goes really well with the freshly baked dough🍑 I brought lots of sweets Being greedy is a bad habit 😂 The buffet was so delicious that I ended up eating too much! Thank you for the meal 🙏 I had some time until checkout, so I went to take a bath ♨️ You can enter from 5am to 9am! I’m grateful to the hotel for opening early in the morning 🥲 I woke up early and was sleepy, so I went back to sleep while my husband was taking a bath 💤 I’m going to the zoo today so I’ll save my energy The bath and second nap were both extremely pleasant🙆‍♂️🙆‍♀️ Before I knew it, the weather had turned bad❄️ I hope it will stop by the time we get to the zoo Once you’ve changed and gotten ready, enjoy your free time I’m going to drink NE:AR, for which TWICE’s Sana is the ambassador This tablet-type supplement can be taken without water! I thought the bus would be crowded, but it was surprisingly empty It took about 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the zoo🚌 It’s been a while since I’ve been there since I was probably in elementary school The price is 1000 yen for adults and free for junior high school students and younger!🆓 On the way back, there is a shuttle bus to the hotel so you can go home safely If you find something nice as a souvenir, buy it and take it home 🤭 There are also several souvenir shops and restaurants within the park The weather has cleared up as if our prayers were answered☀️ I looked at the pamphlet and decided on a route to go around 🤔 I’m excited to be at the zoo for the first time in a while! The way birds stand is so cool 😳 I went there at the end of March, and there was still snow inside the park❄️ A snow rabbit blending in with its surroundings🐰 I am soothed by the beautiful appearance and cute figure 🥰 I’ve only just started watching it, but I can’t stop taking pictures 🥹 Maybe because the temperature was low, we were all pressed together to keep warm The one with just its bottom sticking out of the hut is cute too 🍑 The deer with large antlers was impressive🦌 I went to Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo a while ago The scale is larger than that, so it was very worth seeing! It’s adorable to see children moving around their parents 🥰 Orangutans can be seen without fences 👀 It was my first time seeing a bear so close🐻 I didn’t know if they were playing, but they were very energetic 🫣 I recommend having 2-3 hours to explore at your leisure I’m also happy with the way it’s possible to see it from a very close distance Many monkeys lived on Monkey Mountain 🐒 They are all into grooming and athletics The sheep looked warm even in winter thanks to their fur🐏 It was a cold season, so I was envious of the fluffy wool🐏 You can even interact with the animals in this area! You can buy souvenirs at the station, so don’t worry if you forget to buy some ◎ It might be a good idea to come back early and look around the station I bought some food to eat on the JR train on the way back I was able to buy it at a good time when there was a discount 😼 Kuranama is a classic Asahikawa souvenir The ohagi had a variety of flavors and looked delicious 🤤 They are also sold individually so you can choose the flavor you like 🍫🧀 This time I bought some manju that I could easily eat on the JR line It’s finally time to go back to Sapporo 😳 It was my first trip on JR and the time flew by There are advantages to going by car, but it was also nice to be able to take our time going home together I also purchased a reserved seat on the way back, so I can go home in peace Eating bento boxes together on the way home made it feel like a real trip 😋 There are still many delicious foods and tourist spots to explore, so I would like to go back again There are so many places I want to go, but 2 days and 1 night just wasn’t enough 🫣 Next time I come I’d like to take it easy and stay for about 2 nights and 3 days! 可愛いパフェのあるカフェなど満喫してきました！
