Nishiwaga, Iwate (岩手県西和賀町) – 山人－yamado－ ryokan private rental bath “Yu-ba Issun” (湯場一寸) 2025 Jul. 01
This is the one and only um private bath that could be rented free of charge for people staying here. Um there is a bath in the room, each guest room, but it’s not open air and it’s not right along the river like is the case here. There is no public communal bath here. So this is the uh this is the one [Applause] again straight from the source never recirculated free flowing uh no water or preservativives or chlorine or anything like that added. And then this is a natural river. So the Kashkiri onuro at Yamada Aokan in Iwattate pret could be rented in 30 minute increments. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do now.
We paid a visit to “Yu-ba Issun” (湯場一寸), a “Kashikiri Onsen Rotenburo” (貸切温泉露天風呂) that guests can rent for private use at 山人－yamado－, a 12-room luxury ryokan in Nishiwaga, Iwate Prefecture, Japan (岩手県西和賀町). The onsen is situated next to a river and is “gensen kakenagashi” (源泉かけ流し), meaning the spring comes straight from the source and is not recirculated.
