今回は 鶴ヶ城！！ 福島県

AizuWakamatsu, it was one of very famous Daimyo Clan in this area.
This clan fought for the Last Shogun Yoshinobu Tokugawa.
Remember the movie of
“The Last Samurai”
They tried to Protect Samurai Government, Tokugawa Shogun till the end.
“Byakkotai” is well known in our history, Teen agers warrior team from 13, or 14 up to 18 years old, including girls, They were sons/daughters of SAMURAI and they protected city and castle at the guard points in the mountain and city area.
When They saw the smoke from the castle, some guys thought castle was conquered and stolen by their enemy and decided to SEPPUKU, HARAKIRI and many young guys died in the mountain guard point.
