Visiting Amanohashidate | One of Japan’s Top 3 Views
Good morning! We’re off to Amanohashidate today! Amanohashidate is located in northern Kyoto. It sits along Miyazu Bay. You can get there from Osaka with a few transfers. But it’s important to check the timetables. Bus and train schedules become limited in rural areas. But as always, rural Japan is so nice to watch. Seeing the sea… to me, summer means being by the ocean. I’ve finally arrived. First, I’ll drop off my suitcase at the hotel. I found a place between Amanohashidate and Ine. Because I want to visit Ine tomorrow too. After the heat outside, the air-conditioned room feels so nice. They let me check in earlier than I expected. Thank you! The room is bigger than I thought. Only a twin room was left, but the view is so nice. I came to a place near the hotel for lunch. I ordered a pasta. Yummy! I came to Amanohashidate Viewland. It’s a small amusement park on top of a hill. You can go up by chairlift or monorail. I chose the chair lift. It takes around 6 minutes and offers great views along the way. Here’s the view from above. There’s also a small Ferris wheel and some games. There’s a tradition here called “matanozoki.” You bend over and look at the view through your legs. They say it looks like a bridge to heaven that way. like this! This is “kawarake-nage.” You throw a clay disk toward a target to chase away bad luck. a little souvenir stand Let’s check other parts too! There’s a platform where you can enjoy the view. Hello, little spider! I bought an ice cream. I’ll sit down and eat it here. It’s Tanabata season, and these are wishes written for it. Time to go down! Let’s hop on the chair lift again. The view on the way down felt even nicer. Let’s explore the town a bit too. No strict plans today, I’m focusing on enjoying the moment. The temple gate is one of the largest in the region. It’s dedicated to Monju Bosatsu, the Buddha of wisdom. Students often visit to pray for academic success. I’m not a student anymore, but I still understand the stress. Hello, kitty! <3 This fan-shaped wheel replaces the usual omikuji papers.

They have tours too, but they were done for the day. Still, it’s nice just being by the water. It’s late afternoon now, so the heat isn’t too bad Let’s walk toward the Kasamatsu Park side for a bit. The view, the light, the water… everything feels soft right now. Compared to Viewland, it’s quieter and surrounded by more nature We’re at the Amanohashidate Sandbar now. People are swimming and relaxing here. You can take a walk, dip your feet, or just enjoy the breeze. It’s a really nice place to enjoy the calm water. These are my favorite hours of the day. I love how the sunlight reflects on the water. That was a lovely walk. Time to head back to the hotel. Stopping at a convenience store before going back there aren't many near my hotel. I’m at the bus stop now. It’s about a 30-minute ride from here. I picked up some jelly drinks too. They’re great when it’s hot and I don’t feel like eating. The colors in the sky are so beautiful. This place gives me My Neighbor Totoro vibes. Feels like we might meet the spirit of the forest at any moment. I’m back in my hotel room. I didn’t realize how tired I was until now. I changed into the yukata provided by the hotel. Now I just want to enjoy the view with some tea and cookies Still got one more thing I want to check out before calling it a day. Ending the day with a visit to the onsen. I feel so relaxed after the bath. Just gonna watch a bit of TV and head to sleep Thanks for joining me on this little adventure. See you in the next video, we’re going to Ine tomorrow! Don’t forget to rest, too. Good night!

Hadii.. Çabuk gelsin..
Again, very nice views.
For some reason, I thought it was the Pacific Ocean coast (technically, it still is), but when I looked at the map, I realized it was the South China Sea. Geographically, it resembles Büyükçekmece Lake.
The beach looks very beautiful. I was surprised that the sea was empty. It was good that you used a chairlift instead of those steep stairs.
Sunny, open views, effortless beauty, nice music, a fitting yukata, and a smart, talented, tasteful young woman in that yukata… what more could you ask for? Well done!
