Arriving in Sendai , I will head to the morning market over here. Today, I will enjoy gourmet food mainly around Sendai Station. It is easily accessible , less than a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station, and I heard that you can eat sushi from 8am, so I will head there right away. I arrived at the Sendai morning market. It is now around 9am on a weekday, but it is already bustling. There are more people than I expected. There were about 10 times as many people as I expected. It seems that it is 30 seconds to the sushi restaurant. It is extremely crowded. Is it only for eating and drinking inside? ? There was a ramen restaurant nearby that I was interested in, but this time I decided to line up at the sushi restaurant. The sushi restaurant was by far the most crowded, so I waited about 15 to 20 minutes. Apparently you order by scanning a QR code and ordering via mobile. I’m heading to that famous restaurant. If you come to Sendai, there is one thing you should definitely try. I’m going to enjoy it. If you go straight from here, you’ll come across Chris Road shopping street, and the restaurant is there. Amazing. I came at just the right time. This is the direction of Sendai Station. I’ve arrived at Chris Road , a super large shopping street that represents Sendai. The total number of people passing through in May 2025 is said to be 1,692,871. I’ll have my favorite zunda shake, dango, and Kikufuku for the first time in a year . If you come to Sendai, you should definitely try the zunda shake , it’s really delicious. Out of all the shakes in Japan, Sendai’s zunda shake and Ishigakijima’s Genki shake are the two best. It has lots of grains and is really delicious. As I walk through the shopping street to get some exercise after my meal, I see a frog working like a horse. I’ll still eat more. Sendai’s specialties, sasa kamaboko and fried gourd. Let’s eat! It’s a snack like an American dog. It costs 300 yen per stick. It’s easy to eat, so it’s recommended for eating on the go. I’ll slowly cook it while referring to the delicious cooking method. It takes surprisingly long. Once it’s browned, turn it over and cook for 3 to 4 minutes . Is it cooked through ? It takes about 10 minutes to get it just right. Isn’t it already good?
