【最新】沖縄編2[沖縄旅行5日間/2日目]ハレクラニ沖縄からのリッツカールトン沖縄

Haisai. (Hello). “Travel is self-improvement” is Komachi style. This time… I’m on a 4-night, 5-day trip to Okinawa. Yay. Let’s start with the Okinawa trip. Can I talk about mongooses? While driving, I saw a big squirrel-like creature. Its tail was lying sideways, which is unusual for a squirrel. So I asked Chat GPT. “That’s a mongoose.” It seems that wild mongooses are common in Okinawa. I asked Chat GPT, “Do mongooses eat snakes?” It immediately answered, “Yes. They do.” I thought that’s right. But when I looked into it, it turned out to be a sad history. There are many snakes living in Okinawa. They tried to exterminate snakes by importing mongooses from Southeast Asia. When I looked into it, I thought it was really naive. Because snakes are nocturnal and mongooses are active during the day. So I brought mongooses, but it was completely useless. You should do your research before importing them. Mongooses are active during the day, so they prey on natural monuments. Then they were recognized as pests that destroy the ecosystem. They were brought here by force. They said, “Let’s exterminate the mongooses.” It’s cruel, isn’t it? I feel sorry for the mongooses. They told me to go to another country and work. I asked, “Really?” When I went there, there were a lot of shifts that were not my working hours. I thought, “This is a bit impossible.” They said, “If you can’t work, leave now.” It’s a sad history for the mongooses. I felt so sorry for the mongooses. I’ve just talked about how pitiful they are for a long time. [LINE] It’s funny that they work in shifts. How much of this story will you use? “Now, let’s start the main story.” It’s the second day in Okinawa. Unfortunately, the weather is not very good. This time, we will deliver “Komachi’s Tweets” with audio commentary. I’m going to the restaurant “HOUSE WITHOUT A KEY” to have breakfast. “HOUSE WITHOUT A KEY” at Halekulani Okinawa is a popular restaurant in the main building of Waikiki, Hawaii. It has inherited that tradition and is now operating under the same name here in Okinawa. This is an all-day dining restaurant with a sophisticated resort feel. Good morning. It’s the second morning at the Halekulani. It’s buffet style, so I’m going to go get some food from the buffet table. Breakfast is buffet style. There’s a live kitchen and Western, Japanese, Okinawan, and Hawaiian cuisine all in one place. The shekwasha dressing looks delicious. There are also lots of dips. [Okinawan cuisine corner] Goya chanpuru. Carrot stir-fry. Big rafute. Grilled fish. Kelp dishes. Clam dishes. [Tweet] Please explain properly. Okra and edamame salad. [Hawaiian cuisine corner] Pasta. Garlic shrimp. [Tweet] Hawaiian cuisine. Mochiko chicken. [Tweet] I didn’t eat it. This area is Hawaiian. [Chinese cuisine corner] Beef with sweet bean sauce. Marinated octopus. [Western cuisine corner] Eggs Benedict. Chicken sausage. Okinawan pork bacon. Okinawa pork sausage. There are grilled vegetables. Belgian waffles. [Tweet] I won’t eat it, but I’ll check it out. French toast. [Live Kitchen Corner] [Tweet] I order an egg dish at the live kitchen. [Tweet] I’ll have an omelette made for me. Natto, pickled plum, pickles, and rice. The rice cooked in a pot is good. The seaweed is from “AOMI,” a sushi restaurant I went to last night. Miso soup made with Kumejima miso. Jushi rice balls. The flavors of plum, mayonnaise, and miso line up. Okinawa soba soup. I pour it into a bowl with noodles. [Bread Corner] Baguettes. Amazing. There are so many, it looks like a bakery. [Tweet] A bakery (lol). Croissants. Danishes. There are so many jams, strawberry, blackberry, and marmalade. Butter and aosa seaweed butter. Campagne and fignois. Cinnamon mule. Pineapple. Crepefruit. Banana and watermelon. Orange. [Tweet] English pronunciation (lol). Dragon fruit. Let’s try this. Same as the lounge. Cheese and dried fruit. They have prosciutto and ham. This is a domestic honey stand. They have the honeycomb in it. This is yogurt. They have small acai bowls. Cute. Jelly and pudding. Pineapple cake. Chocolate brownie. Melon shortcake. [Tweet] They also have a wide variety of desserts. Juices are bottled individually. Orange juice. Sunrise booster. Apple smoothie. Water and shikwasa juice. Now I’d like to introduce the dishes I chose. From the right, salad. Warm vegetables. Chicken sausage. Stir-fried carrots and goyachampuuru. The juushi turned into rice balls, so I brought three types. Eggs Benedict. Iced tea and juice. [Tweet] Sunrise Booster. Let’s have some. Ah, look, look. Look, DJI. The straw is metal. The vanilla iced tea smells great. The bottled version feels hygienic. Ah, sweet. My impression is that it’s a sweet and sour tropical fruit juice. I’ll eat my eggs Benedict before it gets cold. They’re completely cold. [Tweet] Hahaha. It’s cold and the eggs are hard. Just a normal egg Benedict. I got them to take to Instagram. [Tweet] What are you saying? [Tweet] They get cold because they’re the first to get them. Yeah. It’s delicious to eat after such a long time. It was delicious. Everyone seems to be happy to eat this. Hawaii. [Tweet] Saying that. That’s not good. This place is cold because of the air conditioning. [Tweet] I’m afraid of the cold and stomach aches. Most breakfast venues are cold because the air conditioning is too strong. [Tweet] That’s not true. Yes. My favorite stir-fried carrots. This is normal. I have a reservation for a clear SUP from 12 o’clock. [LINE] It was cancelled due to bad weather. It’s getting cold and my stomach is starting to hurt. A little accident. I got some seaweed stuck on my chin. I love juushi so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s made with plum, mayonnaise and miso. It’s the first time I’ve had such a fancy juushi. It’s normal juushi on the inside with various flavors on top. [Tweet] Yes. How does it taste? I wish I had had a normal, warm juushi. There weren’t many hot foods I wanted. Minestrone is a drink that gives you a stomach ache. Curry also gives you a stomach ache. [Tweet] Because it has onions in it. Hahaha. Yes. I have a weak stomach. Poor thing. The juushi is delicious. Now let’s eat the next juushi. This is juushi with mayonnaise on top. It’s delicious. Just having mayonnaise makes a difference. I brought Okinawa soba with rafute. The color of the soup is from the pork bones. [Tweet] How is it? It has the richness of pork bones and a refreshing taste of Japanese-style broth. I’ll have an acai bowl. It’s so filling that it gives me a stomach ache, but I wanted to eat a bite. [Tweet] Poor thing. After the meal, I came to the Halekulani Boutique. The Halekulani Boutique is a gift selection shop where you can take the resort atmosphere home with you. [LINE] You can also purchase it on the official website. There are many goods with the Halekulani logo on them. Feuillantine chocolate. I also had this in my room. You can only buy it here. [Introducing my purchases] I bought some souvenirs for my home at the Halekulani Boutique, so I’ll introduce them. First of all. Here you go. This is a Halekulani original from the towel handkerchief brand “FEILER”. This is a towel handkerchief in Halekulani blue. This product is 4,300 yen. [Tweet] It’s valuable because it’s an original. This is a Halekulani original. What kind of pouch do you think this is? It comes as a set with a toothbrush. Toothbrush and pouch set. The toothbrush also has the Halekulani logo. This set is 2,400 yen. Next is a mug. This is a mug with the Halekulani blue logo. White with blue logo and light blue with white logo. Each one is 2,200 yen. [Tweet] This is a bargain. Here you go. It’s a cushion cover. It has a Halekulani logo. It’s simple, but there’s an illustration on the back. It’s an illustration of the main orchid pool. Lovely. This is 12,000 yen. [Tweet] It was pretty expensive. So this is my last purchase. Ta-da. A terry cloth cushion cover from the Halekulani Okinawa. It’s the iconic logo. It has the hotel name embroidered on it. It’s simple, terry cloth, and fluffy. It looks very comfortable to use. I wonder if it would look like this at home. [Tweet] Stylish. Yes. This was 21,600 yen. [Tweet] It was the most expensive. My impressions of staying there. I’m sad to leave, but I’ll be checking out of the hotel later. This is my first time at the Halekulani Okinawa. I knew it was a great hotel because I had done my homework. When I arrived at my room, they explained everything to me carefully. It was just so clean. The interior and furniture were really well thought out. I felt that they had paid attention to the guests in every detail. I thought it was comfortable and very clean. The hospitality was wonderful. Everyone remembered my name. When I ask for something, they call me by my name. It’s a really natural response. I thought that the customer service, the furniture in the room, and the cleaning were perfect. [Tweet] 100 points. I thought it was the best I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you for a really comfortable time. When you tell them your room number and name, they will lay towels on the beach beds for you. They will bring you room temperature and cold water in a cooler bag. When we moved to the quiet pool, they set it up again. I thought it was so comfortable. [Tweet] The pool is 200 points. I want to come again. I want to come next year. I look forward to seeing you again. Thank you. After checking out of the Halekulani Okinawa, we drove to “Kouri Island” in the rain. First, we drove towards “Kouri Ohashi Bridge”. Our destination is the famous Teenu Beach (Heart Rock). Kouri Island is also said to be the island where the legend of Adam and Eve remains. It is said that the myth that mankind began here. For this reason, it is also called “Island of Love” and “Island of the Gods”. We arrived at the bridge. I park in the parking lot. [Tweet] I’ll try my best to get off. It’s raining. It’s raining really hard. “Kouri Ohashi Minamizume Observation Point” is a scenic spot on the main island side before crossing the Kouri Ohashi Bridge. It is an observation area with a free parking lot. Wow. A long bridge. I’m at Kouri Ohashi now. [LINE] World Wonders Discovery. [Tweet] A dark version of Mystery Hunter. It’s raining. It is also a place where buried human bones from the Jomon period were excavated. There is also a stone monument explaining the “Ufudobaru Shell Mound”. [LINE] Other than that, I’m a fan of archaeology. It seems that it was investigated in earnest during emergency excavations associated with the construction of the Kouri Ohashi Bridge. [Tweet] Yes. Another rainy drive. I’m driving over the Kouri Ohashi Bridge now. The Kouri Ohashi Bridge is a 1,960-meter-long oversea bridge that connects “Yagaji Island” and “Kouri Island” on the main island of Okinawa. Opened in 2005, it is one of the longest free bridges in Okinawa. On both sides of the bridge, the emerald green sea spreads out, like a tropical jewel. Even though it’s raining, the water is so clear that you can see the bottom of the sea. You can see the sea clearly from the car window, and on clear days you can enjoy a spectacular view that stretches out to the horizon. The road is straight and easy to drive on, making it one of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Okinawa travel. Yes, we crossed the bridge. We arrived at Kouri Island. There are many stylish shops around here. We came to the parking lot. Put money into the handmade fare box. It’s 300 yen. [Tweet] Just put it in the box. We parked in the nearest parking lot. [Tweet] There is a sign for Heart Rock. It’s raining and it’s not high season, so there are no people. Be careful, as this person will fall even under normal circumstances. Oh, it’s amazing. That’s true. That’s true. [Tweet] I hold on to the handrail and slowly go down. It looks like a whale’s tail. Teenu Beach is famous for the heart-shaped rock “Heart Rock” that was formed naturally by wave erosion. It is a small power spot where you can enjoy the heart-shaped rock created by nature and the beautiful sea. The romantic scenery is perfect for couples to visit. [Tweet] I’m standing here unable to get down to the sandy beach. It’s better to come here with marine shoes. But if I wear marine shoes, I might slip when I come. The footing is bad. [LINE] I don’t like it very much. It looks like a heart from here. [LINE] That’s what I’ve decided. Ah. I hate this kind of thing. Ah! [Tweet] How insensitive are you (lol). I’ll take a break at a roadside station on the way. It is a stylish building and sells Okinawa souvenirs. Now, let’s head to the hotel where we will be staying tonight. I am currently heading to “THE RITZ-CARLTON Okinawa”. People who stay at the Ritz-Carlton start their video from this tree-lined street. The tree-lined street at the Halekulani gives the impression of “grass” and “flowers”, but the Ritz-Carlton gives the impression of “trees”. [Tweet]I see. [Tweet]Ah. I can see it. Yes. I’m here. This lion mark. At the Ritz-Carlton Okinawa, I want to buy a Ritz-Carlton lion stuffed animal wearing “kariyushi”. [Tweet]We have arrived at the gate. A shisa greets us. Hello. Yes. This is the entrance. The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa is located in the Nago area in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. It is a luxury resort surrounded by nature and silence. It is built on a hill overlooking the beautiful subtropical forest and Nago Bay. It has a quiet, adult hideaway atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you. Check-in at the club lounge. Go up the stairs to the upper floor. [Tweet] The lounge was on the second floor. The club lounge also has private rooms, and you can spend time looking at the quiet forest view. They offer a full food presentation five times a day and high-quality drinks. It is an extraordinary space with dedicated service. It looks like you can check in in a private room. [Tweet] I was lucky because there are only two private rooms. It has a very oriental and Asian feel all at once. The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa has a different taste. [Tweet] It’s different from the Halekulani. It has a heavy feel and is calming. I will have afternoon tea until my room is ready. [Tweet] When you think of the Ritz, you think of afternoon tea, right? [Tweet] They also have a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. “Tarnmu mochi”. It is a traditional Okinawan dish. “Mulberry mousse tart”. “Jimami tofu panna cotta”. “Ham and cheese roll sandwich”. “Okinawa cucumber and tofu sandwich”. “Smoked duck open sandwich”. [Tweet] The afternoon tea using Okinawan ingredients is really good. I’ve reserved a special cabana room today. Take a look. [Tweet] They’re using goat language for lions. You eat the open sandwich with your hands. [Tweet] It’s savory. They said it was tofu cream. It’s like a slice of bread cut into a circle and topped with a cucumber hors d’oeuvre. [Tweet] This is delicious. It’s a panna cotta with Okinawan jimami tofu. It’s so cute. The gold dust and petals are delicate. Yes. Delicious. [Tweet] This was delicious. This time I’m staying in a cabana room, but the room above that is a suite. “This is an invitation for special guests,” they said. They asked me, “How about a suite room?” I thought, “Eh, an upgrade?” and was happy. They told me that it would cost over 1 million yen per night, so I would have to pay to upgrade. I asked, “How much would the upgrade cost?” It’s raining today, so we can offer a “rainy day discount” and offer you a room at nearly half price. They didn’t say the price clearly, and just said “nearly half price.” I can’t help but get a suite because it’s so cheap and half price. [Tweet] There aren’t many of them. Now, let’s move to the room. There are only 8 cabana rooms out of 97 at The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa. This is a special room that offers an elegant and luxurious stay. It is located on the first floor and has direct access to the outdoor pool from the terrace. It is Cabana Room 127. Let’s go in. I’m going in. Oh, there is a big mirror as soon as you enter. [Tweet] This is a room tour. Thank you. Look. They are scattering flowers all over the room. [Tweet] Yay. They made it by laying each petal one by one. [Tweet] It’s so touching, isn’t it? Tissues and a clock. Oh. This is a bit expensive. USB-C is connected. There is also a reading light. The opposite bedside is the same. Ritz-Carlton memo pad and speaker. Here is a large TV and TV stand. There is also a USB Type-C and a power outlet here. It’s nice to have a few Type-Cs here and there. There is also a letter set and a picture postcard. This is a normal shelf. Welcome fruit. This is also a gift. It’s because it’s this room. Perrier-Jouet champagne. A comfortable sofa. Oh. There is another one. “The world’s highest quality men’s magazine.” It looks like this. A luxury watch. Wow, amazing. [Tweet] (lol). The sofa also has a USB Type-C Type-A and a power outlet. The trunk can be opened with plenty of room. Here are the pajamas. There is laundry and shoe shine. A beach gown. Here are the pajama top and bottom. Open the closet. There are also many hangers. A spare blanket and a stand to put your luggage. A bathrobe and a shoe horn. Slipper check. I’m looking forward to wearing thick slippers. [Tweet] There was a safety deposit box on the right side. You can bring water or beer from the lounge, but everything in the back here is charged. Awamori is displayed. Interior pottery. Ryukyu blue coffee cup. Nice color. All of this is charged. I was asked to just check. Nespresso and tea are free. This is a refrigerator. Everything in the refrigerator is charged. What is this? Chocolate. It looks high-class. Here is the bathtub. Body towels and bath salts. The blinds are electrically operated. I’ll put them down for now. Amenity. They are in a silver, high-end box. Hairbrush and razor. Toothbrush set. Checking the hair dryer. This is a “ReFa” hair dryer. The hair iron is “dyson”. [Tweet] It’s really good. This. The hair iron is a request. This is the shower room . The bath amenities are “diptyque”. Large shower head and rain shower. Here is a bathrobe. It feels nice and I’m looking forward to wearing it. The room has been renovated, so the furniture is sturdy. The toilet is an automatic-opening washlet type. It’s clean. [Tweet] Here’s the room key. This is the terrace of the cabana room. There’s a jacuzzi. Let’s get it ready. Put the lid on… [Tweet] The lid? Fill the jacuzzi with hot water. [Tweet] It’s the stopper. We’ll open it. You can go to the pool from here. [Tweet] The pool is right in front of you. The pool is already here. This is directly connected to the pool. [Tweet] It’s only a 5-second walk. Ah. Let’s take it easy. [Tweet] Why is that song? . I came to the pool directly connected to the cabana room. [Tweet] It’s a little cold. It’s a little cold. I’m glad the pool is shallow. I’m glad I prepared the jacuzzi. [Tweet] It’s cold. [Tweet] It was evening and the weather was good, so it was private. We walked along this wooden deck to the SPA building. After enjoying the pool, we went to the spa building of The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa. We went to receive a treatment with a unique menu using natural elements of the Ryukyus by ESPA, a world-famous British-born spa brand. [Tweet] They told me how to get to the SPA building over the phone. [Tweet] The SPA building has a hot bath facility, a beauty salon, an indoor pool, and a gym. I was able to get from my room to the SPA building safely. [Tweet]It’s about a 3-minute walk. We arrived at the salon. [Tweet]This is where we fill out the initial consultation form. [Tweet]We enjoy some warm beauty tea. [Tweet]This is the section selling ESPA beauty products. [Tweet]They also sell products used in treatments. We’ll have more details about The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa next time. Please look forward to the next video. It’s a very relaxing space.
