初めての高知キャンプへ|鯉のぼりと…カツオのぼり!?|四万十川道の駅巡り|夫婦キャンプVlog

I’m going overseas (?)~ It’s actually within the country, but I feel excited as if I’m traveling abroad. I’m heading to Kochi, which I couldn’t go to easily because of the distance . It’s the Shimanto River that I saw in a TV drama a dozen years ago!!! The water level is shallower than I saw in the drama, but maybe it’s just my imagination. I arrived at the campsite where I will be staying this time! Birds whose names I don’t know are singing. The manager introduced me to the names of birds while whistling and imitating their calls, but there were so many types that I forgot them right away. There are washing areas and power outlets at each site. There were a lot of bees working in the flower bed right behind the campsite, so I set up camp carefully so as not to disturb them. Today is a weekday, so there are only two campers. Thanks to this, I can hear the surrounding sounds well. I have only heard the rustling sound of the wind rustling the trees on Fridays in Ghibli movies, and this is the first time I’ve actually heard it. The sound can’t be picked up in the video, but it’s a very pleasant and soothing sound. I drove a long distance of more than five hours this time as well. It ‘s not a long weekend. It’s hard to go on an expedition, but it’s just before 7pm and it’s starting to get a little dark. Let’s make dinner with the ingredients we bought at the roadside station and the service area. First, we’ll start with Shimanto pork sausage, which is apparently a specialty around here. It looks delicious, so we’ll grill some chicken on the bone while eating it. I missed out on it last night when I stayed in Kagawa Prefecture. When I went in, it was already the last order, and the adult chickens were sold out, so I only got the baby chickens. So when I found it at the roadside station, I bought the adult chicken without hesitation. The local sake was good and the sausage was pretty good. Shimanto is also famous for eel, so I also bought some eel nigiri . It was sunny, and the stars started to come out little by little. I grilled it slowly. I also grilled some moray eel. The adult chicken was hard! It was fun to taste all the local specialties. It’s cold in the mountains, even in May. Let’s warm ourselves up with the firewood we got at the roadside station. The beautiful starry sky is spreading out. Good night. I’ve never seen an insect with a long tail before!!! It’s a primitive insect called a mayfly that hasn’t changed since ancient times. It seems that it only appears in places with beautiful nature. On the second day, I realized that the true identity of this retro Western-style building is a toilet… For breakfast, I tried to eat as much local food as possible. Spiders often make webs on ropes, but this is the first time I’ve seen one hide its body so skillfully . I can’t see it. I thought I’d buy coffee beans at the supermarket, but they only had powder. For breakfast, I had a hamburger steak made from 100% Shimanto pork that I found at a roadside station! This morning, I was able to sleep comfortably thanks to the shade of this tree. I think I overcooked it a little… It ‘s a beautiful day today too. Shimanto Kilimanjaro coffee is done! I wonder how it tastes. I’ll also toast bread with the hamburger steak. The Camembert cheese that I toasted with it melted and it didn’t look good, so I’ll switch to a full view here. I wonder what the nightingale is saying. Time to have a leisurely meal. I’ll wash the dishes and go sightseeing in Shimanto . Wow!! Amazing!! This is insane, the carp streamers are so impressive, how did they connect them all the way to the other side of the mountain? Each one has its own personality and is beautiful. I came here without knowing anything about it, but I was shocked by the grandeur of it all . There are also food stalls, so it looks like it will be lively. There are many carp streamers displayed at this direct sales store, a slightly smaller version of the carp. I could see people sliding by from the seats outside. There were some delicious looking brown rice dumplings in the shop, so I bought some. The Shimanto River spreads out before me. They have a new texture that is firm and chewy… We move along the Shimanto River to the next spot. Shimanto River wild sweetfish salt-grilled! It looks amazing. Let’s eat. There are so many swallows . Why? Now, let’s keep going. Let’s push it. Something has started! ? ? ? ? That’s right, it’s water. That’s good. We have plans so we’ll move on to the next spot. The open kitchen is very impressive. I’m interested in the Shimanto chicken as well as the bonito, so I ordered both. I was surprised at how delicious the fresh bonito was, so I ordered extra sauce. I wonder why there are so many blue ones ? Maybe? … There’s bonito mixed in with the carp! ! I like unconventional ideas, Nobore! I was attracted by the atmosphere of the town and ended up buying it. I’m going to try cooking local rice tonight. I bought a lot of dried fish at the roadside station . It’s been a while since I’ve had grilled seafood, so I’m excited. Mackerel and sea bream are pretty standard, but I’ve never seen shark before. I’ll also grill oysters and tosa-age. I’ll cook a lot of rice. I’ll fry the tosa-age and add the fins. I quite like shark fin, but I wonder what dried fish tastes like . Cheers! There are a lot of campers today, so I can’t hear the birds singing, but instead I can hear the constant chirping of insects I don’t know the names of. Time to have a leisurely bonfire . We took turns using the coin shower . A beautiful flame warming our bodies. Binchotan charcoal, it lasted a very long time… Good night. Good morning . A swallowtail butterfly, which is rarely seen in the city. It looks like black wings, but when the light hits it, they sparkle blue and green. The bees are also busy from the morning. Breakfast is made from Shimanto pork, 100% pork buns . There are few entrances to Kochi, and the road is long, so I don’t often have a chance to go unless it’s a long holiday. However, when I was there, I never knew bonito had no smell until I tried fresh grilled bonito (sorry for the misunderstanding until now)I never thought Children’s Day could be celebrated in such a grand manner until I saw the carp streamers/bonito streamers decorating the townThe beautiful mountain scenery and the gently flowing Shimanto River were soothing and refreshed both body and mindThis was my first trip to Kochi and it left a wonderful impression on meActually, the travel time was long so I ended up spending one night each in Kagawa on the first and last days of the tripBut it felt worth coming all the wayFinally, I’ll have a nice time at Katsurahama before heading homeSee you again!
