Heda, Numazu, Shizuoka (静岡県沼津市戸田) – Fuji Seiran (富士青藍) property & room tour 2025 May 25

fuji Seran in uh Izu Peninsula in Japan in Shizuoka Prefecture um IU is a peninsula south of Tokyo and um we are at a called Fujicon that just opened two days ago and we’ll see how there might be some kinks that they need to work out but anyway so this [Music] is I said two days three days mihama so Mihama Bay and then the bigger bay is uh Suruga and and so anyways this is a new Dioan it you can see Fuji from across the bay um it’s closer than it appears so this is uh the dioan on this is a five room luxury dioan hello where are you from i’m from Myanmar myanmar mingalaba mingalaba we’ve been to Bagan Manderlay yangon oh beautiful place i like tea leaf salad very good it’s beautiful long G i have a long G yes I I still have it yes beautiful and Tanaka right on the face we did that too anyways so the this is uh again one more look in the flesh of Fuji probably can see it from the room so you can see the uh kind of late afternoon reflections on the water and that’s the uh mainland so we are going straight to the room they’re going to check us in there again this is five rooms just opened this is uh it’s in Numu in another area called Ha H E D- A um IU is known for having some really nice uh bioans including Asaba which is probably the most famous one and Shuenji we’ll see if this is a contender am noara all right okay so they’re all the same size and layout although furnishings are a little bit different let’s take a look okay so you can see here and um all right and then this is the living area really tall vated ceilings on the way up with onen balcony with bougie so this is the uh chashu something like that japanese sitting area and this is the bedroom walkin closet walk-in closet yes all right let’s see you got [Music] aware oh okay okay so it’s something you can wear over what you’re wearing if it gets a little chilly you can see there’s a yucata anyway so this is the Let’s give this uh video a little space go to Yep all [Music] right new room [Music] smell anyway so So if you don’t want to be disturbed you can close it like this but I’ll keep it open for now and then there’s some nice decorations here yeah is it [Music] Oh water beer champagne and sake sake and ice cream ice cream ice cream shield milk and matcha yes all right ice cream [Music] this is the bathroom this is all new stuff i’m sure it’s the latest equipment cuz they just opened this again this is the entrance you can put your shoes here and then I think this is the way out this is the Yep vanity and then and you have uh towels where it’s you know you it’s like a heat rack so you can keep the towels warm on a chilly winter day and then this is where you shower and this is a bath usually often these indoor baths are just regular hot water on tap and then let’s go outside all right and enjoy this is real onsen it’s a ha onsen ha is the municipality in this area and so you have an onsen with a view you can see there’s a sitting area it’s a really nice view you have a bay within it a al cove within the bay and then yep you have Fuji in the distance poking itself above the clouds you decide so anyways this is uh where we are uh Fuji Son we’ll see how the food uh turns out she was asking whether we wanted to eat at 6:00 or 6:30 at this point I’m not really thinking about food i will eventually but just kind of enjoying the the view so on a crisp clear day um you know it’s it’s a pretty awesome spot to enjoy Fuji um keep in mind there’s no guarantee that you can see Fuji it’s often covered in clouds just like a lot of um iconic mountains like Everest and Aarat and some of the others around the world oh the other one I forgot is there’s also a sauna so this is the case with every one of these uh rooms wow it’s hot in here so I’m not going to go in but and do it from the window so anyways this is this is the the new kid on the block Fuji Sean um in Izzu it’s not too far from Hakon so you can do kind of a combo with Hakon you can also combine this with asaba which is a yokan that I wholeheartedly recommend in terms of the pinnacle of Japanese hospitality architecture uh garden and cuisine um we’ll see how this uh this works out doesn’t have the history of course but it’s new and fresh and uh we’re looking forward to our stay fuji s okay what is this this is the welcome key welcome okay n this is the how can I say okay so to the left is right is fin [Music] original so these are treats shiza okay so these are treats from various uh restaurant uh sweets confectionary shops and and Shizoka is known for its tea so this is okay all right so this is the welcome snack that each of us got at Fuji okay so this is uh another room similar in size and layout but this is uh a different view this is soten this is at the opposite end this is at the very end of the walkway and so you can see Oh okay so Amahana is certainly um the preferred room in the sense that you can see there’s partitions here and um not sure why they have it here and not over at the other room anyway so that’s uh that’s that’s what it is otherwise it’s similar but otherwise it’s the same it has a sauna bedroom Japanese room living [Music] room okay so that’s uh Amahana and Soten at Buchi so here you have what’s called Yuimi Terrace and um it’s a lounge area for people to enjoy the sunset view of Fujiwa and you can see there is a bathroom there’s uh some cakes and sweets nuts drip coffee see it dripping um some Japanese sake and other things all uh on the house it’s a staff room so here is the view that you get you can sit outside um and enjoy the view fuji is uh you can’t see Fuji from here it’s a little bit to the right but anyway so this is another um thing that they offer so you can either sit outside in the fire pit or inside here in this lounge so something else to do as you relax um it’s not right up against the ocean but uh with the view of the ocean so Yukimi Terrace right here so now we are going to dinner so each group of guests have uh access to their own private dining room for dinner and uh my room Soen is the furthest from reception so we are going to go have a nice little walk but it’s just up these stairs up ahead so not a big deal

A walkthrough of Fuji Seiran (富士青藍), a newly opened 5-room luxury onsen ryokan with stunning views of Mt. Fuji (when it’s visible) across the Suruga Bay in Heda, Numazu, Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka Prefecture (静岡県伊豆半島沼津市戸田.) The property had just commenced its grand opening three days before our visit, and we were the only guests when we stayed here.

We booked 2 rooms – Amanohara (天原) and Souten (蒼天) – and while each of the rooms are similar in size and layout (although decor and furnishings slightly differ), Amanohara is definitely the choice between the two for reasons you’ll see in the video.
