ニュージーランドの絶景!ロイズピーク&クレイクリフス映えすぎ登山|青すぎるプカキ湖|ニュージーランド南島【海外旅vlog】

Day 14 of our New Zealand trip
Today we are going to Wanaka for a spectacular trekking trail! I was thinking about going in the morning, but today I’m going to go trekking at Lloyds Peak at noon! I’ve read some reviews that it was harder than Tongariro, so I’m a little intimidated… Tongariro was pretty tight too, so… Lloyds Peak is also for people who usually trek or
It’s for people who usually trek or exercise. Some people say it’s for beginners, but recent reviews all say it’s usually difficult I’m not the type of person who usually exercises, but… I do trekking and things like that when I go on these trips, so I think I’m a little fitter than most people. I’ve heard that the trek is about 6 hours, so I’m hoping to be back in the evening, taking photos and videos. We’re heading up to the parking lot at the start of Lloyd’s Peak. Oh, I can see it now.
Looks like we’re almost there. Oh, this is the parking lot – there are so many parked!
I think people who went in the morning should be coming back soon People climbing in the pecans at noon! I know it’s going to be hard, but I’m going to enjoy it too! Lloyd’s Peak (16km), famous for its photos on social networking sites and brochures.
I came here to see the spectacular view with my own eyes! I’m going to pay the track fee.
I’m going to put in $5. This trail is an intermediate trail. It’s supposed to be for beginners, but it’s a steep climb all the way up with a lot of elevation changes, so you need to be strong. After about 10 minutes of climbing, the parking lot already looks far away. The goal is there The view coming after 30 minutes of climbing is already spectacular Harder than I imagined… Steep hills and blazing sun as they say.
Sweat pouring out of me from the first half We’ve been climbing for an hour!
This is the only shade we’ve got, but I didn’t expect it to be blocked off… Taking a short break in the shade of the trees to enjoy the view The temperature is 26 degrees Celsius and I’m already sweating all over…
I brought 2 liters of water, so I’ll take frequent hydration. Trekking with 7kg on my back is training. It’s hard, but… Wow! The best! Look~! Beautiful scenery pushes me back! I wonder how long this steep grade will last… Wow! Surprise! Hello~ Here it comes! Hello~ You came for a drink of water? You were a lamb, you cute little handsome thing. The scorching sun is draining your strength. The point about 2 hours into the climb We can now see the back of the mountain, which we couldn’t see earlier Finally, I can see people lining up to have their pictures taken. I want to paraglide! Trekking is so far away… About 2 hours and 30 minutes from the start
The desired view spot is just around the corner Last spurt running! (lol) My thighs are flat! But it’s really nice to climb because there’s a great view the whole way up, even though it’s hard. It’s like walking up a hill like this forever Almost there, almost there. They’re all filming over there. Finally arrived at the spectacular view point in the photo! The summit is 1.5km away, but I did some research beforehand and thought the angle of the view was more beautiful here, so this is my goal! I’m going to take a short break and wait for a photo spot to open up.
Waiting for a photo spot to open up. We’ve arrived at Lloyd’s Peak!
The view is spectacular! We’ve worked our way up. Eating onigiri for sustenance! I’ve been really hard. Well, but personally, I think
Tongariro was tougher. It was steep Mmm~♩ Great weather! I knew everyone would want to shoot there.
But it would be better to shoot from a little far away from here Ahhh, happiness! I’m glad I worked so hard to get up there. Surrounded by Southern Alps mountains and Lake Wanaka
Great views of Lloyds Peak. Breathtaking panorama See! This is the spectacular view from the top! Yes! The best! A really nice view to climb up! I was so impressed by the beautiful scenery that looked like a painting that I lost track of time and enjoyed it! Many people come up for this view. There are spectacular views in the mountains that can only be seen by those who climb them It’s been slow here for quite a while.
Even at about 16:30, there are still quite a few people coming in… Well, but there are probably fewer people here than in the morning. It’s hard, though, because they come up here in the daytime, soaking up the sun.
I might not have a lot of time to wait for pictures. It’s a great view!
(This spot a little further up the cliff) I’m really glad I brought this pole!
I’m going home now. The view is spectacular all the way home! It’s great to go home and enjoy this But the climb up was so steep.
Of course the descent is steep! There were a lot of sheep on the way back.
I guess they are used to people, they don’t run away when I approach them. We’ve come a long way down.
The way back is totally easy. Quite cool (15°C) and in the shade.
Climbed up during the day in the heat, but the return is amazingly easy. I think we’re almost there. The return trip took us about 1 hour and 45 minutes Tired but full of a sense of accomplishment.
I’m going to stop by the supermarket to buy a quick dinner and head home. I’m about to take a shower, but there’s no hot water…
I called the owner and he said he would come right away I’ll have dinner while I wait.
I love spicy ramen because it’s delicious in every country It took about 10 minutes to come and get hot water! This time it was a gas problem, but I’ve heard that in New Zealand it’s very frequent to lose hot water because of the water heating system. There are things you don’t know until you live there, things you don’t come to find out Living in Wanaka, where renting a house was one event Spent my last night in Wanaka doing laundry and soaking in the bathtub to unwind after a long day Farewell to the lovely room we had for 3 nights! Storing the key in the key locker, checkout complete. Thanks~! New Zealand Trip Day 15
First we head to the gift store in Cardrona, which was closed the last time we were here! A store where you can buy exclusive products of Cardrona Hotel.
All of these items are only available here, so I definitely wanted to come here. All the designs are so cute that even I, who doesn’t have much of a desire for things, have a hard time deciding which one to buy! There were lots of pictures and stuff.
This is the Lloyds Peak I went to yesterday Very nice ♡ I might buy one! Eh~♡♡ Lovely! I don’t know what to do…
I can’t get rid of the candles either I’ve decided on the Lloyds Peak picture and coasters I came at high tide, but the Wanaka tree was not in the water, but I guess that’s just the time of year. It looks like the water is coming in better than the day before yesterday.
I guess it’s a lake and the water level changes with the tides. Wanaka’s symbolic tree gave me power. Filling up with gas in Wanaka and leaving for the next town We stop at a viewpoint that is said to have spectacular views Great view of the Lindis Pass. Next stop over this pass… To drive there from here, you pay $10. Clay Cliffs, located in the town of Omarama, is a spot that can only be reached by car. From the gate, we continue on a dirt road. Really gravel road… Clay Cliffs is a landform created by the erosion of ancient glaciers about a million years ago. Many pinnacles rise up. We have arrived at Clay Cliffs. I’d like to go up a little bit. That’s pretty bad footing. I’m overwhelmed by the strange rock formations that are taller than I imagined. A space that makes you feel as if you have wandered into another world
Climbing up a steep rocky slope with poor footing The deeper you go, the narrower the path becomes and it seems like you are adventuring in a cave The foothold is too bad up there, so we’re going to take a look around and go back. I could feel the long history of the earth from the mysterious landscape created by the force of nature Clay Cliffs, good ♩ The other road on the back side had lots of narrow caves The gate opens by itself and closes when you pass through We said goodbye to the town of Omarama.
Next stop is Pukaki. Wow, Mount Cook is in sight! Aoraki Mount Cook! We’re out of Twizel and into Pukaki! Beautiful milky blue Lake Pukaki.
Very blue and really beautiful! Wow, amazing! Blue! Aoraki Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak, and Lake Pukaki, which can only be seen on clear days. It’s a clear day today, so Mount Cook is visible! We’re really blessed with the weather ☀ At a very popular salmon vendor.
I’m going to buy some sashimi and take a break We’ll eat outside because of the view. Salmon farmed in Lake Pukaki using glacier melt water is fresh and tastier than Japanese salmon sashimi! The location here is too good to be true! Lake Pukaki was the most blue and beautiful lake I saw in New Zealand Last week of the New Zealand trip that started in the North Island. I’m looking forward to the days when I’ll be enchanted by this Mount Cook We’ve stopped at a lot of places, but today’s goal is just a little further down the road. Next stop… Thank you for watching!
