金刀比羅さくら公園は道東地方を代表する桜の名所である。5月の初旬から中旬にかけて、約650本のエゾヤマザクラが山肌一面に咲く誇り、それは遠くからでもはっきりと眺めることができる。また園内でも桜に囲まれた散策路をゆっくりと歩きながら、花見を楽しむことができる。
Konpira Sakura Park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot representing Kitami City. In spring, about 650 mountain cherry trees bloom all over the mountainside, and can be seen from far away. You can also enjoy cherry blossom viewing while leisurely strolling along the walking paths surrounded by cherry blossoms within the park.
