【京都ひとり旅】3泊4日グルメ旅/前編🌿パン巡り&夏観光|本とおやつとホテルステイ@BOOKHOTEL📚🍵[trip vlog]

Good morning! First of all, I took the first bullet train to Kyoto. I was too excited. Laughing Kyoto! I’ll have breakfast in Kyoto, so I’ll go and have some yogurt to accompany my reading! It’s been 6 months since I’ve been to Kyoto! There were a lot of people in the morning, so I went to leave my luggage at the Kyoto hotel. I’m glad I stayed at the book hotel last time. This time I’ll stay here for 2 nights, then move to the Royal Twin for 1 night. I’ll leave my luggage in the bicycle lock style. I’m hungry! I’ll take the subway from Kujo Station . I’ll be traveling a lot today, so I got a one-day pass. It’s hot! I was going to walk from the station, but I’ll take the bus to save my energy… The bus is cool and comfortable… There it is! Red! I’ve always wanted to come to Akamekku. I love Le Petit Mec, and in Tokyo there’s one in Hibiya… I ‘ve always wanted to come to Akamekku, which has a French feel to it. There’s French radio playing inside the store. It’s great to see so many people there in the morning…! I bought bread and ordered a cafe au lait. You pour your own foam milk! I ‘ve always wanted to see the checkered cross. Wow, it’s amazing! It fits perfectly! There are a lot of French movie posters and I feel like I’ve been warped to France. My long-awaited trip to Kyoto has begun! Let’s eat! Hot bread! I’m so happy that they warm it up and serve it to me. This bread is kneaded only with milk without using water, so it’s moist and slightly sweet and delicious. It’s filled with cheese! It’s absolutely delicious! The croissant, which is the most popular in the shop , is so delicious… It’s a light croissant, so I could eat more… but at lunch there is a buffet of side dishes, and there is something I want to eat in between to get revenge from last time, so I have to stop eating bread for breakfast… It was a great shop! I took a short walk to a nearby bakery and arrived in about 10 minutes. I resisted the refrigerated pies and bought some cookies as a souvenir for myself …? I was curious… I looked it up and it seems to be a private sauna called sayoka, renovated from a Kyoto townhouse. It seems like a fun place to stay or have a sauna in a townhouse. Let’s go there on a bus! I went to Imamiya Shrine last time and it felt great. There were not many people and the air was refreshing. It was surrounded by greenery and I unconsciously took a deep breath. Now, speaking of Imamiya Shrine… Aburimochi! I couldn’t eat it last time because it was a year-end holiday, so I was excited to eat it this time…! The long-awaited Aburimochi didn’t come off… lol. Yesssss, it’s so delicious!!! Aburimochi is mochi sprinkled with kinako and grilled over charcoal, then poured with plenty of sweet white miso sauce. I’m traveling alone, but it’s so delicious that it’s burnt. I’m grateful for the cold tea… I’ll walk a lot to make up for the food I ate and get ready for lunch! Thank you for the meal! It’s a little over 30 minutes walk to Kamigamo Shrine . And there I found a Yotsuba taxi! This is going to be a great trip…! On the way, I stopped by a bakery that I had bookmarked, and there was a wide selection of delicious-looking bread… I’m interested in the Inochi series, which uses vegetable broth…I’d like to buy it next time.Even if I buy bread today, it won’t last until I get home, so this time I’ll try cinnamon rolls.I discovered a shop that caught my eye.It ‘s a coffee shop! Could that be coming out of the chimney…? It was the smell of roasting coffee after all! There were all kinds of coffees! Today’s hotel companionI came out onto a big street that felt like summer in Kyoto no matter where I looked.Further north! I finally said hello to the Kamo River. The restaurant where I’m going to have lunch is nearby, but I still have time before my reservation, so I’ll take my time and pray.Hmm … When I come to Kyoto on a trip, there was also a coffee shop that makes me want to read the explanations on the signs and the history more carefully than usual.I checked my afternoon walk plan while looking at the Kamo River.Did I eat a little too much? I thought, but I’ve been walking quite a bit, so I’m really hungry. It looks cool.If I just sit around and daydream , I’ll be late! ! I made a reservation a little before heading there at a brisk pace. The dish of the day and the rice balls will arrive later, and the side dishes are served in a buffet style, with small plates to choose from . Wow, everything looks delicious! While I was leisurely choosing, the rice balls arrived. The cute , hot rolled omelet also arrived! Looks delicious…!! Let’s eat! Every dish was really delicious . They have a gentle, soft taste, but each one has a completely different flavor, so they are well-balanced and you never get tired of eating them. This is an ethnic stir-fried komatsuna and pork . Hmmmm … oh, it’s delicious! I love this!! And one more bite. Everything is really delicious – this fried Kamo eggplant was also the best. It was so delicious I had to look twice . The meatballs also came! The rice balls are also very delicious! I thought I’d like a second helping of my favorite , but the soba noodles came and I was a little impatient… I was attracted by the Sansho Keema and ended up eating the curry… It was so smooth and delicious that I ate it all up… lol The warabimochi arrived and was so creamy and delicious to finish off the meal~~ They gave me more freshly fried or cooked food along the way, and they took away the plates I’d finished eating from me at the right time. It was a lovely shop with a delicious and comfortable atmosphere. Rubbing my bloated stomach, I headed south on the bus . What a cute house! I made a slight detour before the cake shop I had made a reservation at, thinking they might have sold out already, but when I came, there were still plenty! They seem to be famous for their cream buns… I’m going to buy a cake after this, so I’ll buy a salty one . Uki-san thought I wouldn’t be able to buy one, but I’m so happy that I was able to buy one! There are so many wonderful shops~ I wonder what Portuguese food is like. A small and cute shop! I successfully purchased the Victoria cake that I had asked them to reserve via Instagram DM . The stationery store that was closed last time because it was closed at the end of the year! There are cute local stickers, foil-stamped postcards, masking tape… cute letter sets and block memos in various styles! I bought a Kamogawa Picnic sticker. Since I’m here, I’ll take a look at Ippodo too lol. Oh! The glasses are cute!! It was crowded with foreigners. A few doors down, Murakami Kaishindo has a cute display… Here, there are a few cookies for sale individually. Last time, it was the end of the year, and this time it was early summer, so the interior of the store has a completely different lineup. I’m a foodie who is attracted to food motifs… I have to go around the second-hand clothing stores in Teramachi! I love going to second-hand clothing stores when I travel. A cute retro Disney polo shirt is nice . Hmm, here are some candidates for now. Since I’ve been walking around in the heat… I’ll cool down with some refreshing gelato! I also bought my favorite Tora-chan cookies. I’ve always wanted to try this gelato. First, I put it on the delicious Tora-chan cookies and take a bite. Sugitora’s cookies are delicious as expected I’m looking around…lol If I want to eat in, I have to eat a parfait, and if I don’t have room for that, I can only get takeout I love refreshing and delicious plum sweets, so I’m happy to have come across this seasonal gelato!! Cool down complete! I’m heading to a vintage clothing store I’ve been interested in. I’m a little nervous about opening a door like this… it was a really nice store! The cheerful and cute lady gave me some advice and I bought a cute skirt! Everything was so cute… I definitely want to come back again. When I told her that I was looking around for bread and sweets in Kyoto, the lady told me about some recommended sweets… the crepes look delicious I’m heading to that store There it is! The lady recommended chocolate cookies “It’s like a cookie? Chocolate? Brownie? It’s just so delicious!!!” by the lady There were lots of cute T-shirts here too The wife of the sweets store owner was also very nice, and I’m so happy and excited I’m feeling like Kyoto as I head back to the hotel It’s still light out, but today I’m going to have a luxurious night in the hotel It’s a different floor from last time! The theme of the 5th floor is “Totono” I love saunas, so I’m pumping my fist in the air. It’s a simple room, but it’s spacious and easy to use . I’m staying for two nights, so I’ll use the bed for one night each~~ The selection of books in the room is also nice! The bath is also clean! While checking out the books in the hallway, I went to the lobby to get some books to read in the room. This is the collaboration corner with literary magazines. The 366 Days Book Corner. What should I read today? Ah! I’ve been interested in Obara Ban! Hmm, which one should I choose? Anyway, there are so many books, so I chose one by myself . The usual time for solo travel is to reflect on the day. I took a shower and put on a face mask, and wrote down today’s itinerary in a notebook based on the receipt. This is quite fun. I got this heartwarming message on Koharubiyori’s receipt ! It’s cute, like Pokemon lol. I’ll plan my schedule for tomorrow . Now, it’s time for the fun evening cafe time! I’ll brew the coffee I bought. Summer blend – Tsuki no Koro wa Saranari – It ‘s still 6pm, so I’ll enjoy it leisurely. I feel like I won’t be able to finish it, so I’ll cut it in half. Let’s eat! Bakery Uki’s Croque Monsieur bread is fluffy and moist and super delicious! Koharubiyori’s cinnamon roll… the raisins are amazing!! The grapes, which are in many varieties, are juicy like fresh grapes and are super delicious… The coffee is also refreshing and light, and the icing is definitely summery and hard ! lol I found it on Instagram and definitely wanted to try it, Victoria cake by un petit per?? The contents change depending on the day, but on this day it was the best combo of organic matcha and raspberry. Wow, it makes me laugh. I want to convey how delicious it is , this Budokan and cinnamon feeling! Tonight’s books are these three books. Reading type, careful not to get the books dirty. Savoring Kyoto and spending blissful time alone. I finished reading all three books this night like this. I wonder until what time the Kyoto Tower lights up? 21:00 I’m going to bed. Good night. Good morning! It’s nice weather! I went to bed early, so I got up after 5 o’clock, got ready, and went to the lobby to borrow a new book. It’s a nice lobby with the morning sun shining in. I think yesterday’s coffee is still going to be served… lol I have a reservation for breakfast at 8 o’clock, so I’ll relax in my room until then. This morning, there was a wonderful book with a collection of delicious short stories. I’m hungry ! From Kujo Station to Karasuma Oike Station . Monet – I had a little time, so I stopped off at Shin-Puh-Kan . I’d like to stay at the Ace Hotel someday… It ‘s nice that there aren’t many people in the morning. For breakfast, I went to this restaurant alone last time at night and it was delicious and comfortable… I was finally able to come for my long-awaited breakfast. I was wondering whether to get coffee, but I chose the drink here. Cardamom-scented yogurt and citrus… too delicious… Cold zucchini soup is too delicious… It’s a counter, so you can see how it’s made, and they explain each dish, so it’s twice as delicious. The ham was so fluffy and impressive… wow! I wanted to show you what was inside, so I left it half-eaten… The dough and cream were melted… It was too delicious and I was so happy… I asked the shop staff for a recommended coffee, so I headed to the shop. I was happy and drowsy because I didn’t know it would have such a nice atmosphere. There were no seats inside the shop, so you drink wherever you like. I sat on a rock in the shade of a tree… The cafe latte was delicious!!! There were a constant stream of foreign customers… Everyone was quietly enjoying themselves with a smile on their face. The shop staff had a gentle atmosphere, and it was just a really good time . Today was another day of bread tour and a little sightseeing . Old townhouses are nice, as are stone and brick buildings. There was no line for bread to eat tonight and tomorrow morning ! Miracle!! I’m aiming for something sweet at the bakery after this, so I’ll have something salty here… I don’t want to leave the shade… lol Next, of course… I found a Nordic-style cinnamon roll! There weren’t any there last time… I just walked to Nijo Castle, a World Heritage Site! Entered with school trip students. Nijo Castle was built in 1603 as a place for Tokugawa Ieyasu to stay when he went to Kyoto. It’s huge! The Karamon Gate, the main gate, is truly gorgeous… the gate is covered with colorful sculptures , and Ninomaru Palace, where Tokugawa Yoshinobu expressed his intention to return power to the Emperor, is cool… Ninomaru Garden, a special scenic spot, is huge! I can’t really explain it, but it’s a cool garden. On days when you walk around, the rule is to rest when you find a restroom or shade!! Seiryu-en Garden, a mix of Japanese and Western styles, was wonderful…! This Western-style garden in the eastern half really gives you the feeling of an overseas garden… it was a sight to behold! I want to go to Nijo Castle again. It takes 30 minutes to walk to the next bakery. I walk through a residential area to get there in the shortest distance. There it is! Inside the cute shop, there are so many delicious-looking breads packed into one place… I can’t buy too much because it’s for tonight and tomorrow morning… I wonder if I should put this in after all… I discovered something in the building next door! There’s a bread vending machine, a microwave and an eat-in space! As expected, I walked too much in the heat, so I took the bus to the next shop! I headed there relying on Google Maps , and there it was! A shop with a warm atmosphere in an old folk house, a lovely lady with a warm atmosphere and delicious baked goods… I want to live in a house like this… The ceiling and windows are apparently the same as when I rented it, and I’ve become a big fan…♡ I took a leisurely walk to get some snacks to eat in my room at night and some takeaway food for lunch. I walked a lot and my stomach was full. There was a one-car train heading towards Omiya from around Nijo Castle ! I’m so glad I brought my parasol …I wonder if I’m on the right path… I wonder where the shop is, I passed it once without noticing…lol What a cute glass…!! This is a gyoza shop I was really looking forward to. I ‘m curious about all the gyoza…which one should I get… They have a great lineup, each with their own unique flavor, perfect for the body after walking around, a bittersweet, refreshing, warm atmosphere, and inside the shop there are all kinds of folk crafts lined up, and there were a lot of cute haniwas, which made me laugh ! The gyoza seem to have different shapes depending on the type, they look so delicious… let’s eat! The pickled tomatoes are so good…great for the hot summer, and I poured chili oil on the carrot leaf gyoza… All the gyoza here are really so delicious… each gyoza has its own unique flavor, with a chewy skin, juicy meat, and a unique flavor that’s amazing, and the relaxed atmosphere is great, I wish there was a gyoza shop like this in Tokyo… It’s hot outside and I’m worried about the cakes and bread, so I’ll go back to the hotel and rest for now, but I’m relieved! I took a break after the meal with drip coffee I brought from home. The book on fermentation in the room was very interesting, and it also had a section on bread. As it became evening and the heat subsided, I went for a little walk along the quiet and pleasant Takase River. I came to my favorite shop. I looked at the vintage clothes in the back and relaxed at the cafe in front. This was sold out last time and I couldn’t try it, but it was still available this time, so I ordered it. It had pineapple paste inside. Delicious!! The shop staff remembered that I came at the end of the year… I was able to tell them that the coat was really nice. This time I only used the cafe, but I think second-hand clothes are a chance encounter, so when I come to Kyoto, I’ll definitely stop by and buy something that really catches my eye. This coffee was refreshing and easy to drink, and very delicious. It was a good time~ I think I’ll buy a salad in the basement of Isetan to take home. Since I’m here, I’ll have a Kyoto-style salad… I’d like to stay in this stylish hotel someday . I picked out today’s book and went back to my room. After the bath, it was time to reflect on my routine. 100g is a lot, but I don’t know if I should order less than 100… I’ll eat half of it for now. Dinner and dessert in my room ! RF1’s salad is sure to be a hit. My favorite flip-up is, of course, delicious! I plan to buy bagels and chocolate cakes to take home on the last day. At my first coneruya, I tried this Angel Noah and pistachio croissant. The most popular Angel Noah is delicious! Fluffy and moist, but also moist and bouncy I love bread with walnuts Let’s eat the carrot cake I’m looking forward to, too Let’s eat it I heard that it’s full of spices, so it’s excitingly delicious!!! I can feel the spices, but they’re not too strong, and it’s a gentle and delicious cake that has the same atmosphere as the shop Today I read these two books Half of the journey is already over… I can forget the sadness of reading a book Tomorrow I plan to get up early and go to Kifune Shrine That’s all for the first part… ✂ Thank you for watching until the end, and I hope you’ll enjoy the second part too
