💠 “Even rainy days have flowers.” That’s what I felt as I wandered along the gentle banks of Kyunaka River Waterside Park — where hydrangeas bloom softly under Tokyo’s early summer sky.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t famous.
But between the quiet paths and the occasional train rumbling by, I found beauty. Real, simple beauty.
💜 These are June’s flowers — ajisai, as they’re called in Japan — blooming in shades of blue, violet, and pink, as if the sky had left pieces of itself on the ground.
And when I looked up, there it was — Tokyo Skytree, rising silently above the blossoms like a watchful guardian of the city. 🗼
📷 People passed by on bicycles, some is walking, some just strolling slowly like I was. No one rushed. No one needed to.
For a moment, the whole city felt like it was holding its breath — letting the flowers speak instead.
