Hello everyone, this is h3f. Araragi Kogen Ski Resort is a ski resort located in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture, just a short distance from Samuhara Pass on National Route 153, which connects Nagoya and Shiojiri in Nagano Prefecture, but it was closed after the 2017-’18 season. There is a golf course on the same grounds, which is still open today. There are two regular lifts on the slopes and one sunkid on the sled slope. At the time of the interview, the lift on the mountaintop side was not equipped with a transporter. In front of the ski center is the first fixed circulation quad lift, which is 721 meters long and was built in 1987. The course along the lift is a slope for beginners with an average slope of 9 degrees. At the top of the slope, there is a second pair of lifts with a length of 430m on the left side facing the summit, but this lift did not have a transporter. The ski slope called Snowland is a so-called kids park, with a beginner’s slope and a sled park combined, and one sunkid was installed. The ski center was called Center House, and there was a restaurant on the second floor, rentals, changing rooms, and shops on the first floor, and a separate building that included a restaurant called White Bell. The school is only open on weekends and holidays, and the lift ticket office is on the first floor of the ski center.
