It is a slightly unusual and interesting hotel. So today, I would like to stay at MEGURI, which is located very close to Usa Shrine . Usa Shrine is close, but it opened recently, so let’s go there. It opened in April 2025 , so it is still a new hotel. This is the entrance to the hotel , and it also has a day spa and a cafe. Let’s go inside right away. As soon as you enter, you will find the cafe space. It looks like this. It is simple, but it is a space that looks like you can relax. There is a ticket machine at the entrance, and if you want to go to the day spa, you can buy a bathing ticket here and go further in. There is a foot bath in front, and the hot spring facility is on the other side, so it seems that people who use the cafe can also use the foot bath. It was evening and I wanted to enjoy some flavorful green onions so I went to a teppanyaki bar with green onions. I sat at the counter right in front of me and could even see them being grilled. It really made me hungry. Just watching this video made me feel like I could eat a meal. It was a Sunday and all the table seats were full so I recommend you make a reservation. By the way, I went to Mabe with the person who works there and we managed to get a seat at the counter without a reservation. They poured on some mayonnaise sauce and it looked like it was almost done. Now I want to try it and see what it tastes like. The restaurant was full of customers and a bit noisy so I’ll give you a narration from here on out. Please take a look. The green onions are so tasty. There’s a lot of it , and the grilled nekki is sweet and soft and delicious. It has a slightly different texture from regular okonomiyaki. It’s top-quality fatty tuna. この日、makobeは大分県北部に位置する宇佐市を訪れました。
宇佐市は、神様と仏様が集う「神仏習合」発祥の地。その象徴が宇佐神宮で、神仏習合の由来の１つである神社の中にお寺を建立する最初の神宮寺が宇佐神宮の中にあったそうです。

今回の旅の目的は、HOTEL MEGURI。2025年４月に大分県宇佐市に誕生したばかりの天然温泉付きの宿。

makobeはまだ泊まったことがないのですが、別府市にあるHOTEL MUREと同じ系列の経営です。

ダブルルームをベースとしたキャビン型の離れの客室とツインルームをベース（２部屋に分かれてます）とした公営住宅？をリノベーションの客室タイプがあります。
天然温泉は炭酸水素塩泉でｐH7.0中性のお湯。サウナや足湯もあり、日帰り入浴も楽しめます。

ホテルは、宇佐神宮から車で10分程度、市内繁華街、国道10号線沿いの場所にあります。ホテルはカフェも併設しており、お団子がウリです。

朝食付き、二食付きのプランもあり、どちらも食事はカフェで提供されますが、カフェ内で飲食せずお部屋に持ち帰ることも可能です。

宇佐市を訪れたmakobe、まずは今年御鎮座1300年の宇佐神宮詣で。
その後、麦焼酎いいちこで有名な三和酒類が経営するビアレストランや宇佐市の名物味一ねぎをたっぷり使ったメニューの鉄板バル葱屋をハシゴ酒し、宇佐グルメを満喫。
