How are you all? Welcome to the Nabe Travel Channel. This time, I would like to visit Ito Hotel in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It was renovated and reopened in July 2024 as an all-inclusive inn. It is famous for its high-level buffet that buffet lovers will love. This is my first time staying at a hotel in the Juraku Group, so I am really looking forward to it. What kind of hotel is it? We arrived at the lobby, and we were greeted by a sense of elegance and a spacious space. I’m looking forward to it. Let’s check in and take a room tour. Our room this time is room 1603. What kind of room is it? Let’s open the door. Yes, the room is beautiful. Yui. I thought it would have a slightly older atmosphere because it was built a long time ago, but it has been renovated and is a very cute room with a great design. Wow, amazing, amazing. No, it has an ocean view with the sea spreading out in front of you . Beautiful. Outside, there is a beautiful ocean view. The room itself uses indirect lighting, so I think it will have a better atmosphere when the sun goes down. Let’s continue by exploring the hotel. First, there is the AYA-NAMI lounge next to the lobby. This lounge is quite spacious and has an open ceiling in some places, so the sea and sky in front of you create a very open feeling. As it is all-inclusive, they also offer Shizuoka beer, which is only available in Shizuoka, as well as other alcoholic beverages and juices. The selection was also good, with 100% mango juice and Unshu mandarin juice. As for food, there were dried goods and mini rice balls, which were sufficient. In the evening , you can enjoy a relaxing space while listening to live piano and synthesizer music. When you go outside the lounge, there is a foot bath. It’s unfortunate that it’s cloudy today, but on a sunny day, you can have a chill time while looking at the sea in front of you, so it’s a great space. Ito Juraku was opened in 1968 after M&A with Ito Onsen New Kaniya Hotel, and it is operated by Juraku Co., Ltd., a company with a history of 100 years. Besides the hotel business, they also run a restaurant, so the buffet may be of a high standard. This board game room had more games than I expected. In addition to board games, there is also a space to enjoy new sports and table tennis . There is also a game center with a retro atmosphere that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. Next, I would like to go see the hot springs. There are large baths and open-air baths at Yurukano-yu and Yanmo-yu. Personally, I like reclining baths and waterfall baths, so I preferred Yanmo-yu, which has a wide range of relaxing facilities. The Bijin-yu bath was amazing, as it made my skin smooth. Next, I would like to go see the dinner, which was what I was most looking forward to this time . The venue is Live Kitchen AMAHANA, and the interior and lighting create a calm and stylish space. Here, a variety of dishes that dynamically arrange the bounty of the sea and the bounty of the mountains of Izu are cooked right in front of you. It’s nice to be able to eat freshly cooked food. The menu had a wide variety of dishes in all genres, including Japanese, Western and Chinese. Therefore, no matter how many times you come, you can always enjoy it. In the live kitchen here , they cut the sashimi, or sushi, on the spot . The local fish in Izu is really high quality, but the freshly cooked food was very delicious. Also, this was good. The golden-eyed snapper shabu-shabu was boiled in front of you and you could eat it warm with ponzu sauce, so it was very luxurious. All the meat came, so you got a lot of it. The fat was sweet and the seasoning was delicious. The live kitchen here may be in a class of its own compared to other hotels. This beach barbecue was irresistible for me, who loves alcohol. You can also eat as much turban shells and scallops as you like. It’s the best, isn’t it? There was fresh wasabi that you don’t see anywhere else. You can rub the fresh wasabi yourself and eat it. Other than that, the bread and donuts were also delicious . The desserts, fresh fruit and pastries were also very delicious. Everything was of a high quality. The bottled Coca-Cola was also tempting. As it is an all-inclusive, there is of course a lot of alcohol, but there is also a wide variety of soft drinks, which I think is luxurious. I think there is a large variety even for an all-inclusive. I spend over 5,000 yen just on drinks, so I think the price this time was very good value for money. Well then, everyone, we picked a lot. It looks delicious, doesn’t it? The sashimi ingredients are really fresh, and I’m very happy that it ‘s all-you-can-eat. You rub the wasabi yourself, and the aroma is great. It’s not spicy, but you can really enjoy the aroma. I was very surprised that there were many dishes that could be used as the main ingredient, both fish and meat. I was very satisfied . Next, I would like to go and see the breakfast buffet. As for breakfast, it seems that more than half of the dishes were Japanese food. There were seafood such as salted fish and mentaiko, as well as boiled dishes. When it comes to grilled fish, I think horse mackerel is the best when it comes to Izu. You can eat freshly grilled dried fish. In the live kitchen, they will prepare the famous Nebaaru Bomb Bowl and mini rice balls. They will also grill French toast right in front of you in the live kitchen. There is also a wide variety of desserts . The variety of drinks is often reduced for breakfast, but Juraku has a wide selection. Of course, there is less alcohol, but what surprised me was that they serve beer in the morning. They have both white and black beer. When I looked at the menu, everything looked delicious, so I ended up eating too much. I ended up eating a lot of staple food, but the breakfast was also very good in both content and quality. I was very satisfied with the buffet. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.
