２０２５年６月１１日（水）北竜町の特産品「ひまわりすいか」が初出荷され、札幌や旭川の市場へ送られました。今年は糖度１２度と上々の出来で、高田組合長は黄色のすいかの知名度向上と生産拡大を目指しています。６月１２日（水）旭川での初セリでは、ご祝儀価格の５万円で落札され、幸先の良いスタートを切りました。
