Good morning! It’s the morning of the second day of my trip to Kochi. There was a shrine near the hotel where I stayed, so let’s go and pray. The shrine I visited is Shioe Tenmangu Shrine, which enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning. It has a big tower gate. I pray for a safe journey… Okay, let’s start today’s journey! First, we move to today’s destination! After about 30 minutes of swaying on the bus… we arrived at our destination! We arrived at Katsurahama! Katsurahama is one of Kochi’s most famous scenic spots and is also famous as a famous spot for viewing the moon. It is also a place loved by Sakamoto Ryoma, and a bronze statue of Ryoma has been erected in the park. Let’s go to the beach right away! What a beautiful beach… The arch-shaped sandy beach and the deep blue sea are reflected in the blue sky, which is very beautiful… The blue color of the sea is very beautiful… I saw a torii gate at the top, so let’s go and check it out. It is Watatsumi Shrine, which is enshrined at the tip of Ryuo Cape and enshrines the god of the sea . It’s nice, Katsurahama… I liked it so much that it’s on my list of favorite beaches ! Anyway, the beautiful color of the sea was impressive, and it was no wonder that Ryoma loved it! I was getting hungry, so let’s go for lunch! So I went to “Drive-in Nishimura Shokudo” and had a yellowtail sashimi set meal! Each piece was huge! It was so good when I dipped it in “Nuta”, a traditional seasoning from Kochi Prefecture! Thank you for the meal! Also, at the nearby “Tosa Tataki Dojo “, you can have an interesting experience of grilling bonito over straw! You can grill bonito over straw with your own hands ! It’s so impressive…! And it’s pretty hot! Haha , once you’ve grilled it, someone next to you will cut it up and it ‘s done! Mmm, it’s a nice color with just the right amount of heat! It ‘s slightly warm and very delicious! I recommend both! Thank you for the meal! Well, now that we’re back in Kochi, let’s get there today since tomorrow’s destination is far away. First, we head to Aki Station by train. After getting off at Aki, we transfer to a bus and head for Muroto. It’s a long journey of about 2 and a half hours in total . It’s really far… We arrive at Muroto! When we arrive at Muroto, it is already dusk. Wow, what a beautiful sunset… Anyway, I’m getting hungry so I’ll look for a place to eat dinner… and so I head to “Kamameshi Hatsune” . “Utsubo” is one of Kochi’s gourmet foods. The flavor is packed under the skin and it’s delicious! Muroto is famous for its golden-eyed snapper, so I had a golden-eyed snapper bowl! The delicate and refined sweetness of the golden-eyed snapper was indescribably delicious! Thank you for the meal! This concludes the second day of our trip to Kochi.
