After arriving at Tianlongxia Station on the first day, I went to the hotel as quickly as possible to put my luggage. I’m going to participate in a fun and exciting outdoor activity called “Tenryukawa River Boat”. It’s like an ancient Japanese rafting. I have to walk from Tokimata Station to Tokimata Port, where the check-in point is. It’s about ten minutes’ walk. Tokimata Port has arrived. This activity requires reservation in advance on the official website. The fee is ¥3300 per person (for details, please refer to the official website). Tokimata Port is not a place to take a boat. After everyone gathers, the merchant will use a minibus to take the guests to the upstream “Benten Port” “It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Benten Port. This is the starting point for the boat ride. We were first arranged to enter this building for a training session. The training session introduced the historical origins of the Tenryu River Wabune, construction techniques and cultural preservation demonstration craftsmen. The shipbuilding technique of driving nails into the ship’s plank with a unique rhythm demonstrated how the captain steered a 12-meter-long Japanese boat with only one oar. After the 30-minute hands-on training, everyone put on their life jackets and took the boat to the pier. Under the steps in front of the building, these steps can also be used to measure the water level. I stepped on the boat and set off. The destination was Shiyou Port downstream. Today, a TV station happened to be filming, so there were photographers and program production teams involved along the way. The flow of the Tianryu River is so abundant. People on the shore waved to us. The rapid water stirred up waves and quickly lifted up the plastic shield… The boat captain asked us to look to the right and see a monument to the water god. There was a rock in the middle of the river called the Hikaru Rock (hip). Iwa) The boat captain uses a bamboo pole to measure the water depth. The section of the river we are traveling through is the Yunose Rapids. We have passed the Tenryu Bridge and will arrive at our destination, Tokimata Port. The 30-minute boat ride is about to end. We will dock at Tokimata Port. We will gather at Tokimata Port and report for check-in. Taking the shuttle bus to the field trip, and finally taking the Japanese boat from Benten Port back to Tokinata Port, which took a total of 1.5 hours. Let’s start from the front of Tenryu Gorge Station. There are stairs to go down to get closer to Tenryu River. There are two types of boat rides and boats in Tenryu River: Dynamic, the river is as fast as rafting, and the route is located in the upper reaches of the Tenryu River, from Benten Port to Tokimata Port, and is operated by “Minami Shinshu Ryodo Co., Ltd.” Boat cruise: It is relatively static, the river water is stable, and you mainly enjoy the scenery of the canyons on both sides of the Tenryu River. The cruise section is relatively downstream of the boat. Take it from Tenryukyo Hot Spring Port (JR Tenryukyo Station) to Karasa Port (JR Karasa Station). Operated by “Tenryu Rakuin Yacht Co., Ltd.” Viewed from the river, the other side of the Gushe Bridge is the pier for taking the Tianlong River Cruise (Tianlong Gorge Hot Spring Port). There is also a special pedestrian bridge built next to the Gushe Bridge. After passing the Gushe Bridge, turn left and you will find the ticket office for the Tianlong River Cruise. I tried the boat trip yesterday and actually wanted to try the boat trip. Unfortunately, today is a public holiday. There is a staircase entrance next to the ticket office. Go down to the boat dock (Tenryongkyo Hot Spring Port) where I just took the photo from the other side. Continue to the boat ticket office. Walking to the left is a parking lot. There is an apple foot bath on the bank of the parking lot. I usually rarely take a foot bath, but this one has added apples. I want to try it. After soaking in the foot bath, I continued walking along the road and saw a produce similar to a rest stop. I bought drinks and snacks at the sales office and took a short rest. I went back to Gushe Bridge and walked on the pedestrian bridge next to it. On the pedestrian bridge, I was not disturbed by the vehicles and could concentrate on admiring the scenery of the canyon. There is a trail to walk up and have a look at . I saw a small shrine in Tenryu Gorge. There are many mountain trails in Tenryu Gorge. These trails may seem scattered but may be connected. I can only explore as I walk. I visit Inari Shrine one by one in a block-by-block manner and walk down to the parking lot next to the Kyosen Hotel. There is a place that looks like a garden. There are many monuments in the garden. If you go further in the parking lot, you will see the entrance to the stairs. After climbing up the stairs, there are roads directly in front and on the right. First, take this bar on the right. After climbing up, there is a room. The Tenryu Gorge Hot Spring Exchange Hall (actually a public bathhouse) and the other one is the Tenryu Gorge Historical Materials Exhibition Hall. It happens to be a public holiday today. Go back to the original intersection and go straight ahead is the “Tenryu Gorge Tour Trail”. Stand here and you can enjoy the Tenryu Gorge. One of the Ten Best Places to Visit is Longjiao Peak and Tianlong Gorge Ten Best Places: Chuiganji, Wumao Shigushe Bridge, Guiying Cliff Bath, Crane Jiongjiong Pond, Qiaolang Cave, Fairy Bed, Furong Cave, Longjiao Peak, and Tianlong Gorge Ten Best Places. I originally wanted to collect these ten views by walking on the canyon cliffs, but later I found that I can only fully see them by boating on the river. Following the trail, I will reach the most famous suspension bridge in Tenryu Gorge, “つつじ Bridge” (Azalea Bridge)” (Fear of heights in progress) Overlook the Tianlong Gorge Bridge from afar, walk across the suspension bridge, go to the other side, and climb up the stairs. You can see the Longjiao Peak Observation Deck on the right, the Gushe Bridge on the left, and the Tianlong Gorge Bridge. The last stop When we arrive at the Tenryu-kyo Bridge, the total length is 280 meters. The bridge deck is only for cars. Under the bridge is a pedestrian walkway.
