山梨県韮崎市にある「わに塚のサクラ」を撮影してきました。
「わに塚のサクラ」は、日本武尊の王子である武田王が葬られたと伝えられる塚の上に立つ一本桜です。この桜は樹齢約330年のエドヒガンで、残雪の山々を背景に咲き誇る姿は訪れた人々を魅了しています。私も現地でその姿を見た時にはその大きさ、美しさに圧倒されました。
I went to photograph the “Wanizuka Sakura” in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
“Wanizuka no Sakura” is a single cherry tree that stands on the mound where King Takeda, the prince of Emperor Yamato Takeru, is said to have been buried. This cherry tree is a Edohigan tree that is about 330 years old, and its sight of blooming with the snow-capped mountains in the background is captivating to visitors. When I saw it in person, I was overwhelmed by its size and beauty.
