良い温泉旅館を見つけました!伊豆箱根エリア高級宿お風呂部門第1位 オールインクルーシブ×客室露天風呂 #河津水鞠
Hello! It’s Pyon here. 🐰🎵 In early June, when hydrangeas are in full bloom, I visited Kawazu in Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture. This time, I’m staying at a quiet hot spring inn called “Mizumari,” tucked away in the backstreets of Kawazu Nanadaru. This place has a history that dates back over 150 years. In 1865, the first year of the Keio era in the Edo period, a teahouse named “Miho-ya” was established as a rest stop for travelers crossing the Amagi Pass. Beloved by travelers since ancient times, the inn has evolved over the years and was reborn as “Mizumari” in 2022. I’m staying in Room 103, a special room with a private open-air bath. I’ll reveal the price at the end of this video, so please enjoy the tour and meals, and try guessing the price. Let’s see if your guess is close! This room is a spacious 88 square meters. The living and bedroom are completely separate, designed as two adjoining rooms for a relaxing stay. Upon entering, you’ll find the living and dining area right away. The key concept of this inn is “all-inclusive.” Everything can be enjoyed without any additional charges. Besides what’s in the fridge, you can find various other items in the lounge, which I’ll introduce later. You can also order from a drink menu. The coffee machine is a Dolce Gusto. There’s a hot water kettle and even a microwave in the room. Meals are served in-room, and you can choose to dine at the table or on the tatami floor. There are two restrooms — one in the living area and one in the bedroom. A subtle aroma from a tea incense burner gently fills the quiet space. Now, let’s take a look at the bedroom. The futons are laid out from check-in until check-out. Since the living/dining area and bedroom are separate, there’s no need to set up or put away the futons during your stay. You can relax before dinner or enjoy a second nap in the morning. Behind the door on the bedroom side is the washroom. I was surprised by the luxurious amenities and furnishings. The women’s skincare set is from POLA’s BA line, and instead of small sachets, they’re provided in generous mini bottles. There’s also a skincare set and razor from the British brand Bulldog, and haircare products from New York’s SUNDÃRI along with a scrunchie. The hair dryer is by ReFa. Next to the washroom is a closet, and further in is another restroom. Let’s head out from the bedroom to the terrace area. The space that would usually be the veranda in a traditional room serves as a changing area. The towel warmer is a thoughtful touch. Alongside towels, yukata robes and pajamas were also provided. Mizumari ranked No.1 for baths in the luxury inns category of the Izu-Hakone area. They were awarded the top spot in the bath category. This region is home to many high-level inns, so being at the top is no small feat. But what impressed me wasn’t just the baths—the hospitality was truly exceptional. The open-air bath uses 100% natural hot spring water from Kawazu Nanadaru Onsen. There is a private source on the premises that produces 150 liters per minute. It’s a completely free-flowing system—no added water or circulation. Room 103 features two tubs: a square one made of Izu stone and a round pot-style bath. Though the round tub looks small, its shape makes it very comfortable to soak in. The water quality is a simple alkaline spring, gentle on the skin and perfect for a long, relaxing soak. Surrounded by nature, I even spotted squirrels and deer from time to time. There’s also an indoor bath with a shower. Shampoo and body care items are also provided here. The amenities are from LAPIDEM, a luxury spa brand from Japan. Both check-in and check-out are completed in your room. We enjoyed a smooth and silky lotus root mochi with locally grown Izu tea. Now, let me show you around the inn. Mizumari is a luxurious inn with only three guest rooms on a 10,000-square-meter property. All food and beverages during your stay are included in the all-inclusive plan. They even provide coins so you can use the vending machines at no charge. Due to the machine’s setup, you need to insert a coin to use it. Just drop in a 10-yen coin and press the button. Getting a drink from a vending machine is surprisingly fun. There are many other drinks available in addition to the vending machines, as well as cup noodles, bread, and nostalgic snacks. Both adults and children will be delighted. Once I saw them, I couldn’t help but try a little bit of everything. Each treat had a nostalgic flavor. It was perfect for satisfying a small craving. You can also borrow a Repronizer 4D Plus hair dryer during your stay. Tourist information for the Izu area and board games are available in your room, and they even provide yukata robes and water guns. Mizumari warmly welcomes children as well, with a wide range of family-friendly services. A former banquet hall has been transformed into a kids’ room, equipped with a slide, trampoline, tents, ride-on toys, dolls, and picture books— like a full-fledged toy store. It’s fun for kids all day long, regardless of the weather. There’s also an extensive selection of items and services for babies and toddlers, all free of charge. Next to the kids’ room is a ping-pong table and treadmill, so adults can get a light workout too. The shared spaces reflect the inn’s thoughtful hospitality. Dinner is a kaiseki meal served in your room. You can choose to start dinner at either 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM. As an aperitif, we were served a low-alcohol sake called “Sanuki Cloudy.” The first course was a colorful trio of seasonal appetizers. Firefly squid with broad beans, and tender handmade konjac dressed with miso vinegar. The adorable temari sushi included two types: kelp-cured flounder with karasumi, and smoked mackerel. The clam in broth tasted like the ocean captured in a dish. The crispness of asparagus and the texture of tosaka seaweed added a nice touch. The soup course was a clear broth with clam fishcake. It had a gentle, fluffy texture with the deep umami characteristic of shellfish. The sashimi course featured marbled tilefish and longtooth grouper. The tilefish had a sweetness and rich texture reminiscent of botan shrimp. We ordered “Isojiman,” a representative sake from Shizuoka Prefecture. Next came venison from Amagi, served only on the day it is hunted. It was incredibly fresh and skillfully prepared, with a clean flavor and elegant finish. Next came a palate cleanser. Drunken prawn, spring cabbage, and abalone steamed with sake, topped with Tosa-style vinegar jelly. The simmered dish was deep-fried golden threadfin bream in dashi broth. “Oranda-ni” is a cooking method where ingredients are deep-fried and then simmered in broth. We ordered red wine to go with the upcoming meat dish. For the main dish, we had “Tomo-sankaku,” a rare cut of Izu beef perfectly cooked. Tomo-sankaku is a prized cut, yielding only a few hundred grams per cow. It was served with fragrant freshly grated wasabi and seasonal vegetables. The rice course included green pea rice and red miso soup with seaweed. The peas were plump and subtly sweet. Dessert was a matcha parfait and amanatsu citrus jelly. Thank you for the wonderful meal. From late May to early June, wild fireflies fly just outside the open-air bath. Good morning. I opened the window to find a gloriously sunny day. A deep breath fills my body with fresh morning air. After a soak in the morning bath, I enjoyed a walk around the grounds. “Mizumari” refers to a large, rounded splash of water. That fleeting shape of water symbolizes the once-in-a-lifetime encounter between the inn and its guests, and you can feel their sincerity in treasuring each moment of hospitality. Breakfast is also served in your room. Each dish felt like a treasure chest packed with local specialties. For grilled fish, we chose local Amago trout. It tasted rich and fatty, like salmon. Next to it was a rolled omelet with seaweed. Hot spring egg, whitebait, and vegetables arranged like a salad. The simmered Izu beef and eggplant had a rich and luxurious flavor. Freshly cooked white rice was prepared in a clay pot. The variety used is “Kinumusume,” a special cultivation rice from Izu. The menu was carefully crafted to bring out the best in freshly cooked rice. Everything was designed to complement it perfectly. Each dish was seasoned just right—never too strong or too weak—making it easy to eat. Izu is rich in natural ingredients from both sea and mountain. One of Izu’s specialties is fresh wasabi. Grated wasabi and dried bonito flakes over rice make a traditional local dish called “wasabi-don.” This top-quality wasabi had just the right balance of spiciness, sweetness, and stickiness. The miso soup was full of the rich flavor of shijimi clams. Dessert was rare cheesecake topped with strawberries. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. This was a truly heartwarming and lovely ryokan. Here’s how to access the inn. Mizumari is located in Kawazu Town, Kamo District, in the central area of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka. It takes about three hours from central Tokyo, whether by car or public transportation. The nearest station is Kawazu, which can be reached with just one transfer using the Shinkansen. Now, let’s reveal the cost of the stay. Mizumari is a ryokan nestled in the nature of central Izu. It offers just three rooms on a spacious 3,300-square-meter (0.82-acre) property. Each room is spacious, with two rooms and two private open-air baths. It includes a delicious kaiseki dinner and a luxurious breakfast. Snacks and light meals are also all-you-can-eat under the all-inclusive plan, and alcoholic and soft drinks are unlimited. How much do you think this one-night stay for two adults would cost? Please consider the weekday rate in June. The correct answer is 100,250 yen. If you found this video helpful, I would be so happy if you gave it a thumbs up. I also welcome your comments! Next time, I’ll be introducing a newly opened and much-talked-about inn. Stay tuned! See you again in the next video. Thank you so much for watching until the end.

「冬ど~してんの?」みたいな
窓ガラス無し 切りっぱなしの素敵なお風呂の宿がありますね
