【高知】仁淀ブルー!足摺岬とにこ渕に行って来ました!ひろめ市場で昼呑みも!
Cape Ashizuri and Niyodo Blue in KochiCurrently, I am driving west on the Hanshin Expressway Route 5 Wangan Line. The end is Rokko Island. Transfer to Route 3 Kobe Line from Kyobashi IC. Further west. Head towards Tokushima at Myodani JCT. After passing through the familiar whirlpool of Tarumi JCT and Maiko Tunnel , I cross the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to Awaji Island. Take a short break at Awaji SA. Then, I continued driving in the dark and arrived at the Yoshinogawa Highway Oasis Hotel. Good morning,
good morning. I am currently driving on the Kochi Expressway . I left Osaka last night, stayed overnight at the Yoshinogawa Highway Oasis , and left early in the morning. Where am I going now? I’m going to Cape Ashizuri! From Kawanoe Higashi JCT to Kochi Expressway. From here, the tunnel continues. After the tunnel section, I am in Nangoku City. I am currently driving in Kochi City. After the mountain area, the Kochi Plain spreads out. The section from Susaki City to Shimanto Town is free of charge. From Kochi Road to National Route 56. From National Route 56, we return to the free section. On National Route 56, we head to Shimanto City. There are two Shimantos in Kochi Prefecture: Shimanto Town and Shimanto City . National Route 56 runs along the coast in Kuroshio Town. The Pacific Ocean illuminated by the morning light is beautiful. 9 kilometers to Shimanto City. The Shimanto River, known as the last clear stream in Japan. From National Route 56, we head to National Route 321 along the Shimanto River. The Shimanto River is known as the last clear stream in Japan because there are no dams or other structures. 7 kilometers to Cape Ashizuri. Cape Ashizuri is the southernmost cape in Shikoku, located in Tosashimizu City, Kochi Prefecture . It is home to Kongofukuji Temple, one of the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage Temples, and there are many guesthouses and hotels in the surrounding area. We also see people doing the pilgrimage on foot. We’ve arrived at Cape Ashizuri – John Manjiro .
Is it John Manjiro? The southernmost point of Shikoku There is a signboard there , a statue of John Manjiro, a promenade called the Tsubaki Tunnel, a promenade called the Hole of Hell , I walked along the Ogami Promenade to the tip of the cape on the Tsubaki Tunnel mountain. The observation deck is at the top, and if you go this way, you’ll go to the lighthouse . Next time I go back, I wonder if I can get someone to drive me part of the way. Are you sleepy?
I’m so sleepy !
Amazing! Wow, it’s amazing, this view is written as the Hole of Hell, this is the Hole of Hell, a tinkling sound as you fall… this Hole of Hell apparently leads to the main hall of Kongofukuji Temple. Daishi’s Claw Carving Stone Is it really carved with Namu Amida Butsu? A rock on which Kobo Daishi is said to have carved the six characters Namu Amida Butsu with his fingernails. Where is it carved? Is it carved somewhere that can’t be seen from here ? Is this the lighthouse? The lighthouse is suddenly right in front of me, the gateway to the Kuroshio Current,
I can’t go any further from here ! Wow, this is amazing , this is amazing , is this really the end ? Is this the end?
This is the first place. It is said that Kobo Daishi called a turtle from here, crossed the rock below , and prayed for safety at sea. Wow, it’s amazing! This panorama is amazing! Let’s go to the observation deck. Statue of John Manjiro. John Manjiro, also known as Nakahama Manjiro, was a fisherman in the late Edo period who was rescued by an American ship after his fishing boat was wrecked and drifting away, becoming the first Japanese person to visit American soil. After returning to Japan, he worked as an interpreter and translator. Cape Ashizuri .
What did you think? It was a really spectacular view, wonderful , the scenery was wonderful , and that’s all I can say. The weather was good , so next I’d like to go to the Niyodo River. This time I ‘ll go back to Kochi on the way I came. Shimanto River again. From Shimanto to Kochi Road. Get off the highway at Tosa IC. The Niyodo River is already on the left. The Niyodo River is the third largest river in Shikoku after the Yoshino River and the Shimanto River. It originates from Mt. Ishizuchi in Ehime Prefecture and flows into the Pacific Ocean. There seems to be a sunken bridge ahead. We enter the Edakawa River, one of the headwaters of the Niyodo River. Edakawa River is not a typo, it’s really called Edakawa River. Up ahead is Nikobuchi, one of the places known as Niyodo Blue. There is a very narrow parking lot divided into several places and the overall capacity is small, so please be careful. Wow! Oh, oh! There are so many people here, where… should I park there? We’ve arrived at the parking lot. We’ve arrived at Nikobuchi
. Yes , yes, it’s narrow, the vertical line here
is behind me , so where do I get off? There were stairs earlier
, ah, there it is, Niko Falls, this is famous for the Niyodo Blue, wow, amazing, it seems that it can be seen from above , this is it, from over there, from there, is it okay to start from either, I’d like a contribution of 100 yen per person, should I put in 100 yen ?
Ah, yes, please, this place was here until a while ago, wow, it’s amazing,
there is a sign that says you go down using a rope, it’s really steep, wow,
amazing , wow, this is definitely going to hurt your feet, amazing, this is
amazing , it’s going to be hard on the way back, apparently there was no road like this until a few years ago, there was no parking lot , it said that you go down by climbing a rope, amazing, this is amazing
! This is amazing! Wow, wow, wow, this is brutal, wow ! This is amazing! This is pretty much the same as Gero Falls, isn’t it Gero Onsen?
Gero Falls is like this too, is Gero Falls in Gero Onsen? Well, it’s about 10km from there, wow, amazing, this is amazing ! Beautiful! Wow, amazing! This is certainly beautiful, this is amazing! It’s brutal , there are quite a few steps, the steps are steep, it’s tough , scary , is this the waterfall , is this the waterfall?
A waterfall , oh, this is scary
, wow, amazing , so that was Niyodo Blue Nikobuchi. What did you think?
It was great, the blue, the blue , it was more beautiful than I imagined, and there were a lot of people, but there aren’t many parking spaces and there are some pretty steep stairs, so I think you should be careful. I’m going to Kochi city now, check into the hotel, and then go to Hirome Market! I’m heading towards Kochi along the road alongside the Niyodo River. It takes about an hour by car from here to Kochi city. Besides Nikobuchi , there are two other places called Niyodo Blue: Yasui Valley and Nakatsu Valley. The quality of the water in the Niyodo River is the best in Japan, and the high transparency is what gives it that beautiful blue color. Enter Kochi city and run parallel to the tram. After checking into the hotel, we head to Hirome Market , which was once the residence of Hirome Shigeaki, who served as the chief retainer of the Kochi domain, and is said to be the origin of the name. There are about 70 shops inside. Business hours are 10:00-23:00 on weekdays and 9:00-23:00 on Sundays, so you can drink from the morning (lol). When you think of Kochi, you think of bonito. Everything is bonito. It’s just the time for the first bonito. Kochi’s sake, Tosatsuru. Good fish is only good with good sake. And so the day ended, and the next morning Good morning Good
morning It’s the morning of the third day Today, I’m going to see a second-division game at Aki City’s Aki Municipal Baseball Stadium in Aki City I’m already familiar with the road to Aki. This trip to Kochi was planned based on a Western League game . There were some fans of the Chunichi Dragons, who are playing against Aki for the first time in six months . There were quite a few cars with Tokai region license plates in the parking lot. I decided to pull out in the middle of the game, but I’m going to listen to the radio (first-division game) on my way home and eat some delicious fish around Naruto on my way home The game ended up being a loss for Hanshin 2–>5 Chunichi. I got off the highway at Naruto IC and stopped by Binbi-ya. I had a sea bream sashimi set meal. Speaking of Naruto, it’s sea bream. It’s just the season for cherry blossom sea bream. And seared bonito. So, for two days and one night, it was a great journey from one end of Kochi Prefecture to the other. Yesterday we went to… Cape Shionomisaki… no, Cape Ashizuri . How was the Niyodo Blue at Nikobuchi on the Niyodo River? The Niyodo Blue was great , it was really beautiful, it’s hard to find a place as beautiful as that , and they said that waterfall was in their top five, right? You said that yesterday, you said it was the top five waterfalls you’ve ever seen, right? Today I went to Aki for a bit and came back halfway through, but I think it was a disappointment, so I’ll wrap it up here. Thank you for watching.
