비 내린 다음날, 자연과 예술 속으로 [CC🇰🇷🇺🇸🇯🇵]

It rained the day before the trip. It was the day after the rain, and maybe because the weather was cloudy, the atmosphere felt pure that day. Before going to Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, I visited Jungdae Water Light Park near National Route 3. The scenery was better than I expected. It didn’t feel artificially made. It felt like a naturally created ecological park. The park’s landscaping wasn’t well-maintained, but it gave off a natural vibe. The sprouts after the rain showed my favorite color. There was a lake next to it. Shrubs were also growing in the lake, so it felt even more like an ecological park. There was a path that allowed you to walk around the lake. The path was well-maintained. Many people were walking. The sparrows didn’t run away even when they saw people. As I walked, I heard lots of water sounds from the lake. I heard splashing sounds and looked. So I looked more closely, and was surprised to see a huge fish. Even caterpillars came down like this… Maybe I was lucky… An insect attacked the caterpillar, and the caterpillar fell…ㅠㅠ Hang in there! One, two, one, two! It was kind of cute. I thought it might die if it stayed on the road, so I helped it. There were benches here and there so people could relax and enjoy the scenery. The scenery is nice, right? I like finding my own healing places in less famous spots. Sometimes, even in nature while traveling, it can feel artificial. But here, it felt like they touched it just a little?? Not nature beneath people, but people beneath nature… That’s what I thought. That’s why I liked this place. For the locals, it’s a great place for a light walk. The day after the rain always seems to feel pure, always seems to feel pure, and I felt at ease in nature. The lake is quite large. It takes about 20 minutes to walk around it. If you happen to visit Gwangju in Gyeonggi-do, and are looking for a quiet walking course, I recommend this place. Between Gwangju and Icheon, there is Kwangjuyo. Technically, it’s in Icheon, but it’s called Kwangjuyo, which I found interesting. This is the café called Koyu that’s been trending on SNS. As you enter, there’s a traditional kiln, giving the feeling of a ceramic town. This is near the entrance to Icheon. The coffee was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. They kindly explained many things. The café interior even used ceramic kiln chimneys, and there were stones used in kilns. The staff kindly explained it all. Across the street, there was a photo zone that felt very fitting for a ceramic town. We arrived at today’s destination: Yes Park, the Ceramic Art Village. It had a vibe similar to Heyri Art Village in Paju. Even the streetlights were decorated with ceramics, which was impressive. The village was really large. I heard there was a pottery festival in early May, so it must have been crowded back then. Since it was a weekday, there were very few people, and I wondered if business was going well. I was alone on the streets. The ceramic exhibition halls were beautiful inside and out. So my eyes were delighted. Even if you don’t buy ceramics, the owners were all very kind and offered excellent service. They happily allowed me to take photos and videos. I can’t say if the ceramic prices were cheap or expensive, since I don’t really know the market value. In one place I randomly entered, there was a potter working on ceramics. When I asked for permission, they readily allowed me to film. Seeing the clay spinning on the wheel looked so smooth and made me feel calm. I even saw a B-grade discount zone. It was fun to look at the various ceramics. There was also a ceramic art exhibition hall, and I spent quite a while looking around. The works were impressive and beautiful. A cat sitting like a ceramic piece… The village was more beautiful than I expected, and both the buildings and ceramics were so pretty. So there was plenty to see. It even felt a bit like Europe. But there was one downside… It was too big… And because it was divided into zones, cafés and restaurants were not scattered throughout. As a result, there weren’t many places to rest while looking around. Although there were benches and small parks, there weren’t enough places to get drinks or food along the way, which made it a bit tiring to see everything. The cafés and restaurants were gathered far away. This is Seolbong Park, the main tourist spot of Icheon. It’s a lake park like you might see in any city. So, it wasn’t particularly special. The well-maintained park was spacious, and many Icheon citizens were using it. The sunset over the lake was beautiful, and the view of Icheon city from the park was refreshing. Honestly, it’s hard to give it a high rating. It lacks uniqueness. It’s the kind of park you could find anywhere. Since they included many things, it felt a bit artificial. Just my personal opinion, but it’s nice for a simple 1km walk… that’s about it. Icheon is famous for rice, right? So, I wanted to walk along the rice fields. Since it’s planting season, farming was in full swing. I was surprised to see chickens walking along the country roads. The chickens were even walking on the road where cars passed. I guess they’re like watchdogs. While walking along the country road, I wrapped up today’s trip like this. Art and nature. Scenery filled with peace. Everything stayed in my heart. It was that kind of trip. See you next time.
