In this series, we feature one prefecture each week and simulate a full day of JR train operations within that region. The series moves from the northernmost areas of Japan toward the south, and this fourth episode focuses on JR trains in Miyagi Prefecture.

Miyagi is a major transportation hub in the Tōhoku region. The JR lines running through the prefecture connect urban centers with rural landscapes and coastal towns with inland areas.
