From the Mukaiyama & Tekuramori-yama Observatory in Zao Town,
you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the majestic Zao Mountain Range.
Selected as one of the “36 Scenic Views of Miyagi Zao”,
this site represents the collective pride of the Sennan region and its efforts
to promote tourism and local gastronomy through the beauty of Zao.
Though the climb is steep, a peaceful rest hut awaits at the top,
offering panoramic views that make the journey worthwhile.
📍 Access: From National Route 4 (Zao Ohashi), turn north just before entering Ogawara Town,
then drive 1.5 km toward the Miya Sports Park. Watch for the sign to the observatory.
