Is this the BEST snow resort in Japan? Hoshino Resorts Tomamu FULL TOUR

just when you think you’ve seen it all Japan snow resorts are on another level welcome to Hossho Resorts Tamu easily one of the best snow resorts in Japan with powder snow amazing slopes an entire ice village as well as Japan’s longest sled course and largest indoor wave pool here’s why this Japan ski resort is a must [Music] visit koshino Resorts Tomu is straight out of a winter dream guys this is how soft the snow is here this is untouched snow from the past few days it’s been snowing oh my god it’s so light and fluffy and the runs they’re the perfect balance between chill and thrill there are wide beginner friendly runs steeper slopes for the pros and a family area for little shredders making it ideal for skiing and snowboarding in Japan for all skill levels you can easily get from one mountain to the next with their networks of lifts and gondas on the best part it’s ski in ski out all you got to do is step out strap in and off you go also I cannot recommend the private snowboarding or skiing lessons enough especially if you’re a first- timer like our boys our instructor Pedro got our boys up and running on a board in a single session if skiing and snowboarding aren’t your vibe well you’ve definitely got options grab a sled and zoom down the mountain this is Japan’s longest sled run check out the view so beautiful so much snow carve those turns for over 4 km and enjoy 20 minutes of downhill fun we stayed at Risenire Tamu and let me tell you there’s no better feeling than coming back here after a huge day tearing up the slopes and coming back to the warmth and comfort of these rooms but the real star of the room is this this is amazing this hot tub jacuzzi whatever you want to call it is so huge look at this definitely easily fit a whole family in here there’s more though this is not it come through and we have our very own sauna look at this i can’t believe we have our very own jacuzzi and our very own sauna in this room like what better way to end the day after a massive day of snow activities it gets even better because not only do they have these lux rooms but there’s also the skier suite designed for serious ski lovers or you can drift away in the kumo suite aka the cloud room where you’ll feel like you’re floating in the skies amongst the clouds my favorite place to kick back and relax was the books and cafe it’s open 24 hours and it’s stocked with drinks and snacks on the opposite side there’s also a cool kids play area where our littlest one got to exert all his energy of course there’s also a gift shop/convenience store where you can get your hands on yummy local snacks and drinks all you need to bring to Hosna Resorts to Mammu is yourself that’s how easy it is you can rent everything you need for the snow at Risaire’s rental shop on the lobby level even down to beanies goggles and helmets we found the gear to be a real good quality and I think we look pretty cool in it too ready to roll as if it isn’t magical enough already the ice village Tomamo takes it to a whole other level this magical winter wonderland is like stepping into a real life snow globe where everything is made of ice an ice cafe an ice post office an ice chapel an ice hotel a huge ice slide and what the heck even ice ramen so one thing you have to try when you come to the ice village is the ice ramen and as the name suggests it is basically frozen icy cold ramen served in an ice bowl oh with cold soup as well that is one cold bowl check that out oh no I dropped some soup it’s basically what you would have in a normal ramen place but frozen wow that’s actually really tasty it’s so bizarre because it’s like frozen but when you bite into it the juices and the flavors just burst in your mouth it’s actually really good oh we’re not done yet go ice skating hop on a donut slide or sip on a frosty cocktail in an ice glass but that’s far from all guys because if you’re up for it you can even stay in an ice hotel in the ice village this experience will stay with us forever and made our time here truly unforgettable did you know this is Japan’s largest indoor wave pool and it’s insane these waves are really strong someone help me help me Rappy we’ll be back winter Wonderland on one side and tropics on this side so if you have a pink band you can actually grab an inflatable but you can only get it one at a time so you have to return the one that you got and get a new one look how many different inflatables you can pick from got bananas look at this an axelottle too for the little ones really big donuts here for families oh my god these are so cute after a huge day of boarding you absolutely must come and swing by the public on relax those tired muscles in here check out the view and they have a huge sauna for you to relax in it’s not just all about skiing snowboarding or sledding there is so much more when you head to G Outdoor Center hop on a huge sled and get pulled into Hokkaido’s untouched wilderness where we got to go snowshoeing for the first time and throw our bodies into we didn’t even know this was possible but we also got on a crazy ride on a raft getting thrown side to side and even drove on our own snowmobiles oh and if you ever wanted to ride a horseback through the snow landscape you can tick that off your bucket list here as well in true ski in ski out style there is a village at the center of Hosino Resorts Tamu called Hotu Street there’s a cozy dining village that you can ski straight into and pick from one of nine restaurants and cafes that serve up some of Hokkaido’s best eats thank you so much to the person who recommended us to try soup curry gaku here at Tamamu so apparently the ones in Saporo are really really busy the lines are huge this is amazing amazing soup curry like I don’t usually like thicker curry but soup curry I am down for so make sure you try this you can get to Hotallu by foot or via the suspended walkway so nonkers can enjoy it too for a very traditional Japanese experience you’ve got to come to Cafe Tukino right behind me this is where you can order this kind of setup so this is an ordinab which is like a seafood stew hot pot and you can have this in traditional kotatu which is what I’m doing right now my legs are inside fuzzy warm looking at this beautiful hot pot and some sake tomamu is also a food lover’s dream when I tell you we indulged we indulged like the food was amazing we ate mouthwatering desserts made from HKO milk inside cute cafes we dove into the most epic dinner and breakfast buffets that had something for everyone one of our favorites was Nuni Nupuna the biggest buffet of them all with floor to-seeiling windows where you get to gaze into the snowy forest ooh they even have a really good fresh seafood section yum so they actually give you freshly grilled Wagyu meat as well the resort center was our go-to for quick and tasty bites and an express lunch before hitting the slopes again we basked in some of the most breathtaking dining views at Sora where we got to enjoy a Japanese breakfast salmon and podro and next egg with crab meat as well as grilled ai which is every meat lover’s dream and also my favorite restaurant for the most stunning views over all of Hasha resorts and the mountains honestly we could have just spent our days eating through the resort and we barely grazed the surface we should just go back for the food don’t forget to visit Terrace of the Foster Trees where you can walk above the clouds if you dare hopefully you get to catch this on a clear day where it can be even more breathtaking you have to make a stop at a cafe to grab a hot drink and some really unique and fun cloud themed bites when you guys come up and check out the Terrace of Frosted Trees you must come to Kuma Cafe and try all the cloud themed desserts like look at this so don’t miss out on this what do you guys have there a marshmallow cloud that’s a marshmallow marshmallows do look like clouds though croissant looking okay so this is a very special coffee as you can see these bits on top they represent ice but it’s actually sugar so we are going to put the sugar into the coffee and buy sugar oh just right perfect amount unfortunately that wraps up our time here at Hosino Resorts Tamu we had such an amazing time if you guys are looking for a snow trip to Japan make it this one you won’t regret it it’s amazing if you like this video make sure you guys like it and subscribe for more Japan videos we’ll catch you in the next one peace out [Music]
