Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Walking Tour – Part 1: Naka-meguro to Roppongi [4K/HDR]

Hello YouTube. I’m back from my trip to Kansai, and starting today, it’s time to explore Tokyo once again. In the past, we’ve done a few train line walking tours like the JR Yamanote Line, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and Marunouchi Line where we walked along the train routes to discover the neighborhoods they pass through. Today, we’re starting a brand new journey along the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, beginning at Naka-meguro Station. Then we’ll make our way to Ebisu, Hiro-o, and Roppongi. This tour will be a 7-part series in total. Alright, ready for the first walk? Let’s go!

Join me as I kick off a brand new walking journey through Tokyo, following the entire Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line—on foot. In this first episode of the 7-part series, we begin at Naka-meguro Station and head toward Ebisu, Hiro-o, and Roppongi. As always, there’s no music or narration—just the real sights and sounds of the city, so you can feel like you’re walking right here with me. Whether you’re reminiscing about past travels, planning a future trip, or just love exploring Tokyo’s streets from a local perspective, this walk is for you. Put on your headphones, relax, and let’s take a walk together.

  4. Walked this route so many times in my younger days. These places are magical to me. Each of them brings back hundreds of memories. Thank you for your service.

  5. Hi Yoshi! This is probably my favorite walk you do in Tokyo Roppongi is so nice.
Honestly, I don’t know how you do it there’s so many elegant beautiful women. 😍
I think I would fall in love every 100 feet! 😂

  6. Yoshi your videos are excellent thoroughly enjoy them I've noticed that you use your phone as a monitor attached to your handle could you please tell me what attachment you use as I'm about to purchase a osmo pocket 3

  7. Got my hiking boots back on and raring to go! It was a warm day when you walked this route. Again, I missed every JR station except Ebisu, it was right in front of me. Great to see the mostly tall tree-lined streets. They must be the hardy kind for they lacked the wooden guards around them. Nice horizontal mural with cartoon like characters stemming up the (imaginary) street, 5:14. And what a unique building at this corner with the tower and the rest looking like an old European style building, 51:35. This building I remember from previous walks for its protruding facade and entrance to an Egyptian restaurant (Nefertiti), 58:40. Great vista of the city 1:03:49, and 1:04:30, the ever impressive spider sculpture by Louise Bourgeois, at the right place and ever puzzling question why here, why a spider to those who walk by. Stay cool, take care, and thanx.
