CURRY TEI is located in Gofuku, somewhere in front of the Toys’R’Us. The parking space is huge, but it is also packed during lunchtime, particularly during weekdays. Businessmen, workers and college students flock for a huge amount of rice for a relatively low cost. You have a choice of the curry rice or the butter rice. The price is for 450 grams, but you can adjust the rice to 150 grams, 300 grams, 450 grams, 600 grams or 700 grams. Each adjustment is a 50 yen to 100 yen adjustment to the price. Now, the thing to do is to load up on your toppings. For our curry rice, we loaded up on a Hamburg steak and sausages. For our butter rice, we loaded up on vegetable omelet and chicken fillet. You don’t have to worry about the lack of volume here. It’s plentiful, and has you wolfing down the food.
