ぶらり旅 第506回「京都府:東山慈照寺（銀閣寺）」-アクセス,駐車場,寺,国宝,関西,哲学の道-(2022.12) Ginkakuji Temple,Kyoto,Japan
ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2022年12月に京都府京都市にある「東山慈照寺（銀閣寺）」に行きました。
・東山慈照寺（銀閣寺）
正式には慈照寺といい、臨済宗相国寺派の境外塔頭。
足利義政が造営した東山殿を、義政の死後、夢窓疎石を勧請開山に禅寺として創建。
国宝の観音殿（銀閣）は、創建当時の風雅な姿をそのまま残す。東求堂の同仁斎は現存最古の書院造の部屋。
銀沙灘と呼ばれる白砂や、台形の向月台が配された庭園は、月を愛でる趣向が伺える名園であり、国の特別名勝・特別史跡に指定されている。本堂・東求堂・弄清亭の内部は春と秋に特別公開される。
世界文化遺産登録。
参拝時間：夏季 (3月1日～11月30日）午前8：30～午後5：00
冬季 (12月1日～2月末日）午前9：00～午後4：30
参拝料金：大人（高校生以上）500円、小・中学生

8時～17時
自家用車 1日1回 1,040円
・哲学の道
若王子橋から浄土寺橋までの疏水にそった小道、約２kmを「哲学の道」と呼んでいます。
沿道の桜並木は見事で、春や紅葉の秋は多くの観光客でにぎわいます。
1987（昭和62）年「日本の道百選」にも選ばれています。
この近辺は、京都大学にも近く、昔から多くの学者や文化人が住んでおり、「文人の道」「散策の道」「思索の道」「哲学の小径」「哲学者道」などの名称が文献や資料には出てくるようです。
地元の方は、単純に「疏水端（そすいばた）」が一般的だったようですが、はっきりとはしていません。
1969（昭和44）年に疏水分線の保存運動を進める中で、その必要性から地元の方が相談し「哲学の道」と決めたそうです。
以降京都市でも「哲学の道」の名称が一般的に使われるようになりました。
I would like to introduce some places I visited on a whim.
In December 2022, I went to Higashiyama Jisho-ji Temple (Ginkaku-ji Temple) in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.
・Higashiyama Jisho-ji Temple (Ginkaku-ji Temple)
Officially called Jisho-ji Temple, it is a subtemple of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism, Shokoku-ji school.
After Yoshimasa’s death, the Higashiyama Hall, built by Yoshimasa Ashikaga, was founded as a Zen temple with Muso Soseki as the founder.
The Kannon Hall (Ginkaku-ji Temple), a national treasure, retains its elegant appearance from the time of its construction. The Dojinsai of Togudo is the oldest surviving shoin-style room.
The garden, with its white sand known as Ginshadan and the trapezoid Kogetsudai, is a famous garden that shows the desire to admire the moon, and is designated as a special place of scenic beauty and a special historic site by the country. The interiors of the main hall, Togudo, and Noseitei are open to the public in spring and autumn.
Registered as a World Heritage Site.
Visiting hours: Summer (March 1st to November 30th) 8:30am to 5:00pm
Winter (December 1st to the end of February) 9:00am to 4:30pm
Admission fee: Adults (high school students and above) 500 yen, elementary and junior high school students

・Philosopher’s Path
The approximately 2km path along the canal from Wakaoji Bridge to Jodo-ji Bridge is called “Philosopher’s Path.”
The rows of cherry trees along the road are magnificent, and it is crowded with many tourists in spring and autumn when the leaves change color.
It was also selected as one of the “100 Best Roads in Japan” in 1987 (Showa 62).
This area is close to Kyoto University and has long been home to many scholars and intellectuals, so names such as “The Writer’s Road,” “The Walking Road,” “The Road of Contemplation,” “The Philosophical Path,” and “The Philosopher’s Road” appear in documents and materials.
Locals seem to have simply called it “Sosuibata,” but this is not clear.
In 1969 (Showa 44), as a campaign to preserve the canal branches was underway, locals met in consultation and decided on the name “Philosopher’s Path” out of necessity.
Since then, the name “Philosopher’s Path” has been commonly used in Kyoto City as well.
