Hey Team Riders, Oita’s wild roads keep calling, but crashes and fuel costs hit hard! Join for 140 yen/$1 a month to fuel Project 47 and get exclusive behind-the-scenes clips: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7QUavyzNZwmN69oLfZxsUQ/join
Day 2 in Oita has me weaving through epic roads on my Triumph 400X Scrambler, though a little slip-up (oops!) shakes things up. From the eerie, abandoned Kyu-Sento-ji shrine to the sacred calm of Futagoji Temple, I soak in Oita’s spiritual side. Udo Falls’ misty roar and Kitsuki Castle’s coastal views steal the show, while Chinoike Jigoku’s blood-red waters stun. I end visiting my friend Iwashita-san at his wild Iwashita Collection motorcycle museum—bikes galore! This is Japan raw—two wheels, real moments.
➤ What’s in this episode:
– Riding (and crashing!) through Oita’s backroads

– Iwashita Collection with Iwashita-san

Great work once again!!!! Proud of you!!!! Thank you for letting us come along for the ride!
Glad you and your bike are ok. I’m heading to Japan next month Oita will definitely be on the agenda , thank you can’t wait for tomorrow 🙏🏻
Never mind dropping your bike. Bikes can be repaired. As long as yo are fine, that’s OK. It’s actually quite difficult to make a U-turn on a slope because you lose the direction of gravity. I might do a J-turn in that situation which is less cool but safer. In your other video, your luggage sits high up on a pillion seat. This may make your bike top heavy. Do you fancy saddle bags to make the weight point lower? I admire your openness about your errors. I fully echo your sense of joy of riding.
man your ride is really peaceful.
buut dropping from the bike is a must when doing adventures 😂
Should get some engine guards along with the bark busters now too. Feather that clutch and use the rear brake only for those U-turns. I'm still trying to get better at mine and they were definitely my weak point on my license test. Grabbed the front brake one time and tipped myself but got my leg down in time. Another great video though and such beautiful camerawork.
Love the museum. The Apollo I have only seen in books, super rare.
Your videos Are pure quality. Keep at it Adam. ✌️
DAY 2!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi Adam, great video again. I really enjoyed that.
Glad you are not hurt.
I don’t think your skill was at fault there. It was more likely a little misjudged with the surface which wasn’t ideal for any rider.
Moss, algae etc is so slippery and best avoided where possible.
Stay safe.
Look forward to the next video.

epic video as always
Absolutely awesome content! Binging this series 🙂 – and bookmarking your locations in gmaps, will make a trip of my own someday. I lived in Japan for just over a year 18 years ago, would love to revisit. My Japanese is probably enough to get by on, people are just so nice! Take care and have a lovely and safe trip mate! /A Swedish dude
영상속에서 역동적인 앤진소리가 사라졌네요.gb350s일떼가 더 좋았습니다. 아쉽네요.
We've all been there, live and learn eh !. These days if I'm doing slow tight turns in any situation it's feet down ready to catch a slip. Otherwise another excellent video, setting yourself up for a fall ( no pun intended) with the level of professionalism we're becoming accustomed too, superb editing as usual, thanks A.
Like the way you take everything in your stride , another fine video

I'm always amazed at how many hidden gems there are in Japan and how many amazing waterfalls you stumble across! There really is a lot of nature still left to see! The museum stop at the end was super wholesome! What an awesome collection!
Thanks for the next episode of your journey! Love it, but I don’t like that insta360 distortion. Safe travels!
What about your gb350? Why did you change bike?
Greetings from Italy
dude… you're living my dream
