Tsuchiyu Onsen, Fukushima – Tsuchiyu Bettei Satonoyu (土湯別邸 里の湯) Kason (花村) room tour 2025 May 18

We are deep in nature in Fukushima Prefecture, quite inland um in an area called Tsuchio Onsen in May. Very green and this is a Don called Stuet Satonu. This is actually not the main building. This is a private villa and um this is the top room category. And uh so we walk in here. This is a small luxury Japanese dukan located near um Bandai Matami National Park as well as other places. But the local area is called Suchio Onsen. And um you can see this room is surrounded by moss and forests, very private. This is the main hallway. Uh this is the uh main living area, Japanese style, but very convenient that you know they they have what’s called a hoodie where it’s uh recessed down below so you can put your foot down and in the winter it’s heated as well. Um so a Japanese style room but with a sitting area. really pretty. I’m gonna rush this video because uh we have a private rental hot springs arrangement in about 5 minutes. It’s called Shimpki. Um there’s several onsen in Shineki and um surrounded by forest. It’s supposed to be absolutely gorgeous. So, we’ll check it out. Anyways, this is the uh [Music] bathroom shower. This is the bath you filled up by yourself. This is the toilet and another wash basin. This is the bedroom. Western style beds. And then again, this is the living room over here. And uh here, this is a I think this is just another bedroom actually. Um they’ll put out the futons if if you’re with say um more than two people. And you can see here they have uh the yucata and pajamas that you can take with you. Anyway, so this is in Fukushima. Um, there’s a lot to do in this area. Um, especially if you have a car. Uh, there’s Aizu Wakamatu, a historic city that’s also beautiful. Um, so back at the uh main wash basin, the onsen for the room is out on the deck. You go out this way and then you’re going to wrap around the villa. You see very forested, really peaceful. You can see the bedroom from here if you choose to be seen from here. And then uh this is the outdoor onen. Oh, you can smell the sulfur. It’s a the real deal. Free flowing, never recirculated on sand. So get another view. A little bit further removed. It’s good to have the handrails because it can be slippery, especially if you when you get out of the the hot springs. So yeah, this is this is uh this is the special room at uh such such satoyu. Um, suchu means uh ground or earth um spring and then sat noyu I guess it means I guess either sugar um spring or or um uh rural spring. I I don’t know. Anyway, so that that’s the name of this place. Um it’s very renowned for its cuisine. Again, there’s some touristing things to do, but you kind of need a car to get around this area of Tohoku Prefecture.
