Japan’s Snowiest Region
We were fortunate to visit Uonuma no Sato earlier this year in Niigata, one of the snowiest regions in Japan. Niigata is famous for their rice so naturally their onigiri is really good!
Uonuma no Sato is run by Hakkaisan, famous for their sake. You can find a variety of facilities here including many restaurants and cafes, shops selling local craft and Hakkaisan’s sake brewery.
