⁴ᴷ Gifu: Seki Station (岐阜県: 関駅) – Japan Walking Tour (May, 2025)
Last month, I refrained from traveling long distances, but as the weather gradually warmed up, I decided to set out on a journey this month to the Noto Peninsula on the Sea of Japan side.
On the way from Gifu Prefecture to Aichi Prefecture, I happened to pass by a shopping street that caught my attention, so I stopped to take a look. The town I visited was Seki City, which is famous for its swords and cutlery. In fact, it ranks number one in Japan for the shipment value of blade products.
Since I visited at night, the shopping street was quiet with very few people around. I’d like to come back during the day to see what it’s like when it’s more lively.
