🌷💠 Showa Kinen Park （昭和記念公園– 東京）
Located in Tachikawa, just west of Tokyo, Showa Kinen Park bursts into vibrant color each spring during its annual Flower Festival. I visited in early May 2025, and was amazed by the vivid poppy fields glowing in red and orange, and the soft blue of blooming nemophila swaying in the breeze.
A quiet stroll through the Japanese Garden offered a peaceful contrast, where I enjoyed a traditional matcha set in a serene teahouse. The harmony of seasonal flowers and Japanese culture made this visit truly unforgettable.
