「やすらぎの里しもつま」は、下妻市の南の玄関口としてさらに、地域活性化を目的として造られた近隣公園です。
公園ゾーンには、シバザクラやフジの回廊（約200m）からなる花のエリアや芝生広場、遊具などがあります。
公園全体で約150本のフジを植栽しています。
フジの回廊には、約60本が植栽されています。
“Yasuragi no Sato Shimotsuma” is a neighborhood park built as the southern gateway to Shimotsuma City and with the aim of revitalizing the area.
The park zone includes a flower area consisting of moss phlox and a wisteria corridor (approximately 200m), a grassy plaza, and playground equipment.
Approximately 150 wisteria trees are planted throughout the park.
Approximately 60 wisteria trees are planted in the wisteria corridor.
