金澤獨旅自由行|海鮮丼吃到飽也太浮誇!兼六園・金澤城・忍者寺等必去景點全收錄|2025一人旅推薦

Continuing our journey through Central Japan. On this trip, I planned a three-day, two-night getaway to Kanazawa. Being a bit of a bargain hunter, I took off from Nagoya, and hopped on a nearly 4-hour bus ride all the way to Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture. This time, I planned to explore Kanazawa Castle Park, and Kenroku-en, one of Japan’s top three landscape gardens. A little spring cherry blossom adventure. Of course, I had to fully enjoy the hot spring hotel I reserved ahead of time. And indulge in their famous all-you-can-eat seafood rice bowl breakfast. Besides that, I lined up a few must-visit spots around Kanazawa. And most importantly— a big feast of the local specialties. Wanna know what I did in Kanazawa, the “Little Kyoto” of the north? Where I went, and what I ate? Then let’s keep watching! If you’re enjoying this video, don’t forget to give it a thumbs up! And if you think it’s pretty good, feel free to subscribe to my channel. Your support keeps me going! Thank you! As for how I got to Kanazawa this time, I actually thought about it for a while. At first, I considered taking the Shinkansen, but after looking into it, I realized the route from Nagoya was more complicated than from Osaka or Tokyo. There were more transfers involved. So I decided to go the easier route and just take a highway bus to Kanazawa. It’s not only simpler but also much cheaper. From Nagoya to Kanazawa by highway bus, the one-way fare was 4,200 yen. That’s about 890 TWD after conversion. The boarding spot was right near Nagoya Station, and even with large luggage, it was no problem. (If you need the temperature adjusted, please let me know.) (I’ll adjust it for you.) As soon as I got on the bus, I started eating the breakfast I just picked up at the convenience store. Not sure if anyone else feels the same— but food just tastes better on a bus. It just hits different! But just a quick reminder— when picking your food, try to avoid anything with a really strong smell. And don’t forget to take your trash with you when you get off. Overall, the bus was super comfy. Honestly, I thought the whole ride felt really nice and relaxing. They have free Wi-Fi, charging outlets, and even a restroom. The driver was super smooth and careful. And here’s a little secret— there’s a footrest under your seat that you can pull down. Take your shoes off, stretch out, and it’s incredibly cozy. That design is seriously thoughtful. Although… if your feet tend to smell, maybe be a little cautious. (haha) (Matsuto Seaside Park, arriving now.) (Final stop coming up: Kanazawa Station.) The moment I got off the bus, of course, I had to check out Kanazawa Station— rated by a US travel magazine as one of the world’s most beautiful train stations. After snapping some photos, I went straight to grab a bite at Kanazawa Station. Got myself filled up before heading to the hotel for check-in. I originally wanted to eat at a place near the station— Ugashi Shokudo. But unfortunately, I didn’t make it in time. If any of you have tried it before, feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you thought! So I activated Plan B— heading to Uosaiya, a restaurant inside Kanazawa Hyakubangai. I ordered a super loaded set meal packed with all kinds of fish. It definitely lived up to the hype— I was blown away as soon as it hit the table. There was so much food it actually surprised me. All this for just 2,000 yen. That’s about 423 NT dollars—super worth it. Seriously a great deal. The most shocking part was the massive fish head. It was huge—super impressive. And the seafood was really fresh too. If you’re a seafood lover, I definitely recommend this place. After getting my fill, I headed to the hotel to check in. This time, I stayed at Onyado Nono Kanazawa, part of the Kaga no Housen group. It’s a mid-to-high-end hot spring hotel chain by Dormy Inn. This hotel is a bit unique— you’re not allowed to wear shoes anywhere inside. You have to take your shoes off right at the entrance. But don’t worry—inside the room they provide special in-house socks for guests. Hi there… I’d like to check in. My name is Chou. Check-in and breakfast add-ons are all handled through self-service machines. It’s really easy to use. The hotel’s location is great— you can walk to Omicho Market, Kenroku-en, and Kanazawa Castle. It’s super convenient for both sightseeing and food. There’s a natural hot spring bath on the rooftop, plus a sauna. And after your bath, they even have free ice cream for you to grab. In the morning, they switch it out for Yakult. A couple of popsicles after an evening soak? That’s peak happiness right there. Come late night, you can even enjoy unlimited bowls of soy sauce ramen. They’ve got seaweed, and bamboo shoots. The toppings are simple, but the broth is top-notch. I ended up eating two bowls in one go that night. It was just too satisfying. Of course— what this hotel is really famous for is its breakfast. The highlight is the DIY seafood donburi bar Seafood rice bowls. If you purchase breakfast on-site, it costs 2,800 yen per person. That’s around 580 NTD. Is it worth the price? We’ll find out in tomorrow’s breakfast unboxing. So beautiful~ Honestly, it’s really pretty. Thank you… (surprised) You want to take my picture? Press here. Thank you! (Ended up with my eyes shut… haha) It really is beautiful. But there’s no one around. Literally no one here. Just me… (creepy) Time to head back. After visiting Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen at night, I was starting to get hungry. Time to hunt for food. I suddenly had a craving for meat tonight. I quickly looked something up, and found this place— a super popular local eatery called Uchuken Shokudo. They’re especially known for their pork belly set meal. The sauce, in particular, has a faint fruity aroma. It’s a secret vinegar-based “devil’s sauce”— really one-of-a-kind. You can immediately tell it’s not your average seasoning. After finishing the pork belly, I even poured the leftover sauce on my cabbage and rice. It was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating. I ended up making a random purchase. Spend over 500 yen and you get a free play. I have no idea which game to play… Left or right… (Completely indecisive) (Failed… sobs) Here’s your bill. Enjoy your breakfast! Excuse me, may I film? Film me? Haha Feel free, go ahead. After that amazing breakfast, with my stomach full of seafood, I headed out to the Omicho Market next to the hotel. This market has been around since the Edo period—over 300 years of history. There are more than 170 shops here. Most of them are seafood stores selling fresh catch straight from the Sea of Japan. So many varieties! Since this market is so integrated into local life, it’s often called “The kitchen of Kanazawa.” Such a fitting nickname. Next, I walked over to Nagamachi Samurai District to check out the famous Nomura-ke, a samurai residence. This kind of residence, called “bukeyashiki,” was where samurai lived during Edo. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a suit of armor over 400 years old— actually worn in real battles. It’s incredibly well-preserved. And just so full of history. Nomura-ke was clearly the home of a high-ranking samurai. You can really feel the refinement everywhere. Most of the wood used is hinoki (Japanese cypress), and just walking inside, you can feel the grace and elegance shaped by centuries of history. But the most impressive thing was the Japanese garden. It’s not very big, but the landscaping and design are so rich and layered. Everything is placed with care— it completely immerses you in that traditional Japanese sense of calm and elegance. This place is called Pan Brother’s. It was founded in 1953— a super historic bakery with a retro Showa vibe. Their most famous items are the apple pie and chestnut pie. Apple pie? It’ll be out tomorrow. We’re baking them tonight, so… Ah, I see. Tomorrow morning then? When I went, everything was already sold out— shows how popular this place is. I ended up buying this sandwich with ham and cheese that looked amazing. One bite and it was packed with filling— they were really generous with the cheese. Super rich and satisfying. Best part? Everything’s really affordable— crazy good value. Highly recommend stopping by and trying one of their pies for me. Let me know in the comments how they taste! Ugh… raining so much. Waited forever… Next, I visited one of the coolest places in Kanazawa— Myoryuji, aka the famous Ninja Temple. Admission is 1,200 yen. But the tricky part is, you need to book by phone. If you’re planning to go, I highly recommend having your hotel make a reservation for you. Or you can try your luck like I did— I came on a weekday with no reservation, and luckily got the very last slot. For walk-ins, just press the intercom at the entrance to register. The tour is entirely in Japanese, but don’t worry— they’ll give you a detailed guidebook in your language. So even if you don’t understand Japanese, you’ll enjoy it. The whole tour takes about 40 minutes. Totally worth it. It looks like a regular two-story temple, but inside, it’s full of hidden traps— secret passages and tricks everywhere. Photos aren’t allowed inside, so if you’re visiting Kanazawa, don’t miss this spot. That wraps up my Kanazawa trip! All the places and restaurants mentioned in the video— I’ll list them in the description below. Feel free to check it out. If you have any questions, or want to chat or share your thoughts, leave me a comment—I’d love to hear from you. I read them all. And don’t forget to like and subscribe— and turn on the bell! Thanks for supporting my channel. See you in the next video! Bye bye!
