   Fukui is a good relaxing place, besides Biei. Nice to re-visit Fukui with you in the streaming and video Miki.

   All those shuttered shops reminded me of the weirdest place I ever went in Japan. 加賀寺の大感音… it was built during the bubble, and vast quantities of money were obviously spent on it. The place was open, but there was nobody running the place that I could find, just a few donation boxes, and honesty boxes for charms and things.

   Very odd.

   In the area, for reasons of 芭蕉, and to see the cave temple 那谷寺. We couldn’t miss the large Kannon statue, we had an hour or two before the shuttle bus tothe ryokan, so we went for a walk to have a look at what was there.

   Not sure what the food options are like, apart from at the ryokan that we stayed at, where the food was very good, as was the walk along the river which had various places mentioned in Basho’s books (奥の細道, afair).

   みきさん、ありがとうごさいます ! I've seen videos of this place in the winter it's also fantastic. 勝山市 and 大野市 seem like great places with a 岐阜県 vibe. I envy the people in these prefectures.

    I had been in katsuyama😊the castle you learn history and the local birds and animals that lives. Also back on march the mountains had snow❄️😂
