Yokohama Chinatown Yokohama Chinatown is the largest Chinatown in Japan and East Asia, with a history of over 150 years. The main street is approximately 300 meters long, and there are over 500 stores operating within the area, which are frequently replaced depending on the latest trends. It is characterized by luxurious gates with motifs of Suzaku and Xuanbu, which originate from Chinese mythology, and there are a total of 10 gates.
