Things to do around Tokyo Station 2025 / The new Pokémon Store / Japan Travel Guide
Things to do at Tokyo Station! The Ultimate Guide! Hi! I’m Samurai Junjiro! Hi! I’m Akanemaru! This video is about recommended spots at Tokyo Station. Tokyo Station is very spacious,
so we’ll introduce it divided into 2 areas. First, let’s head to the Marunouchi area. Let’s start with Marunouchi Square, which is right in front of you
when you exit the Marunouchi Central Exit. You can see Tokyo Station made of red bricks
from this square. It’s a popular spot where many people take photos. We’ll introduce 2 recommended spots
where you can have a panoramic view of Tokyo Station. First up is the Marunouchi Building. It’s a massive building with restaurants, apparel brands,
and there are offices on the upper floors. Let’s go to the 5th and 35th floors. On the 5th floor, there are over 10 restaurants. On this floor, you’ll find the observation terrace. You can see Tokyo Station and Marunouchi Square. It’s a hidden spot with few people. There are upscale restaurants on 35th floor,
and many people visit this place near the escalators. From here, you can have a panoramic view
of the Imperial Palace. It offers a great view
and is just the right place to take a break. Next up is KITTE Marunouchi,
located right in front of Marunouchi Square. It’s a commercial facility with over 110 shops,
including restaurants. The roof garden on the 6th floor is a recommended spot. You can enjoy watching Shinkansen and trains from above,
and it’s bustling with many people. In addition to this place, there are other popular spots,
so we’ll introduce them as well. It’s Ramen-Gekisenku located on the basement floor. There are 4 famous ramen shops. Tomita, which has its main store in Chiba,
is always popular with long lines. Their rich-flavored tsukemen is so delicious
that you won’t forget it once you eat it. Next is Marunouchi BRICK SQUARE, located about a 5-minute walk
from the Marunouchi Central Exit. It’s a massive building spanning from the basement
to the 34th floor, with restaurants and offices. The BRICK SQUARE Garden is located on the 1st floor. There are plenty of benches,
and many people enjoy meals and coffee. We’ll introduce 2 popular breads you can get around here. First up is La Boutique de Joel Robuchon. There is a wide variety of bread,
but their most popular item is the cream bread. It’s made with vanilla beans from Tahiti,
so it has a pleasant aroma. It’s sweet and makes you happy. Next is ÉCHIRÉ MAISON DU BEURRE. It’s a specialty store for Echire butter,
and their croissants are especially popular. It has a crispy texture, and the sweetness of the butter
spreads throughout your mouth. About a 10-minute walk from the Marunouchi Central Exit,
you’ll find the Imperial Palace. A tour that allows entry into the Imperial Palace grounds
is conducted about 5 days a week. Tours are held twice a day,
with an advance booking capacity of 200 people per session and an on-the-day sign-up capacity of 300 people. There is a link to the official website in English
in the description box. After passing through baggage inspection,
you can enter the premises. The Imperial Palace is located in the center of Tokyo
and is more than twice the size of Tokyo Disneyland. There are many historical buildings,
and the area is rich in nature. By the way, scanning the QR code inside the Imperial Palace
with your smartphone, you can view a map. This time, we’ll introduce 2 particularly recommended spots. First up is Tenshudai. This is the place where Edo Castle stood until 1657. It offers a great view
and is perfect for taking commemorative photos. Next is Ninomaru Garden. There are ponds and waterfalls,
and you can experience the Japanese atmosphere. The Nishikigoi swimming under the bridge is worth seeing. They are very colorful and beautiful. We’ll also introduce some recommended spots
around the Imperial Palace. Here is Chidorigafuchi. It’s a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in spring. You can enjoy the cherry blossoms while riding a rowboat. About a 10-minute walk from Chidorigafuchi,
you’ll find Hassan Kioicho, where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi and sukiyaki. It opened in March 2025. The interior has a Japanese atmosphere,
providing a relaxing space to enjoy your meal. Now, let’s introduce the all-you-can-eat courses. This time, we’ll introduce the All-You-Can-Eat Sukiyaki. In addition to sukiyaki, you can also enjoy
all-you-can-eat sushi and tempura. The price varies depending on the type of meat. The types of sushi and tempura
are the same for all the all-you-can-eat courses. We’ll explain the details about the price and reservation later. When you choose the course,
you’ll first be served beef and vegetables for sukiyaki. The beef is marbled and beautiful. At this restaurant, the staff will cook the sukiyaki
for you at first, but after that, you’ll cook it yourself. There is also an English guide for enjoying sukiyaki,
so it’s easy to understand. If you’re not sure how to cook it, the staff will help you. The staff is very friendly, so don’t worry. Dip the beef in raw egg before eating. It has just the right amount of marbling
and melts in your mouth. The meat is cut into larger pieces, making it satisfying to eat. You can order sushi, tempura, and extra meat
by scanning the QR code with your smartphone. You can change the language to English. The menu has pictures, so it’s easy to order. First up is sushi. There are over 17 types of sushi,
and you can order them one piece at a time. The sushi chef carefully prepares the sushi
after you place your order, so you can enjoy authentic sushi. The sushi rice portions are smaller,
so you can try different types. The sea urchin is rich and has no fishy smell. The salmon roe is large and has a popping texture. The negitoro is fatty and melts in your mouth. The salmon has a rich flavor
and just the right amount of fat. This tuna is bluefin tuna, which is the most expensive type. The eel and conger eel sushi are also recommended. They have a savory aroma,
and the sweet sauce goes well with them. The quality is amazing for an all-you-can-eat restaurant! Next up is tempura. There are over 10 types, and you can order any one you like. They fry it after you place your order,
so you can enjoy it hot and crispy. The shrimp is thick and satisfying to eat. It has a sweet flavor and a plump texture. This is Japanese sillago tempura. It has a fluffy texture and a light flavor. We recommend adding udon noodles
at the end of your sukiyaki. Once the noodles have turned the color of the broth,
it’s ready to eat! Dip it in the raw egg. The sweet broth soaked into the udon, making it delicious. For dessert, there is almond jelly. It’s not too sweet, and the aftertaste is refreshing. It’s just right after a rich meal. Next, we’ll explain the pricing. The most affordable course is the all-you-can-eat sukiyaki
with Black Wagyu Beef for 9,000 yen. If you choose premium Black Wagyu Beef,
the price is 13,000 yen. The meat is tender and incredibly delicious. If you choose Matsusaka beef, the price is 20,500 yen. It’s great to enjoy high-quality Wagyu
with an all-you-can-eat course. The all-you-can-eat time limit is 2 hours for each course, and last orders are taken 30 minutes
before the end of the period. By the way, there is also an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu course
in addition to the sukiyaki course. Shabu-shabu allows the extra fat to drain off, so you can enjoy Wagyu with a lighter taste
compared to sukiyaki. You need to order the same menu for the entire group,
so you can’t choose both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. An all-you-can-drink option with alcohol is priced at 2,400 yen. The all-you-can-drink option with a wider selection of drinks,
including Japanese sake, is 3,500 yen. You can also order drinks individually. You can book through the link in the description box. This restaurant is a bit far from Tokyo Station, so it’s better to use Kojimachi Station,
Nagatacho Station, or Akasaka Mitsuke Station. Next is Wadakura Fountain Park,
located between the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station. It’s a park with artificial ponds and fountains, a popular spot where many people have a meal
and take a break. Inside the park, there is a Starbucks. By the way, this Starbucks offers special frappuccinos
and lattes exclusive to this store. They use almond milk and high-quality sugar called Wasanbon. Be sure to give them a try! It’s only a few stops by train
from the Imperial Palace to Tokyo Tower, so we recommend visiting Tokyo Tower
if you’re in the Tokyo Station area. There is a ticket counter on the 1st floor. There are 2 types of tickets: Top Deck Tour and Main Deck. We’ll explain the differences
and the time required for sightseeing in detail later. Let’s take the elevator to the Main Deck. It’s located at a height of 150 meters
and takes 45 seconds to arrive. By the way, on weekends and holidays only,
you can take the stairs to the Main Deck. There are 600 steps, and it takes about 15 minutes, but you can enjoy the outdoor scenery while taking the stairs. You can go to the Main Deck with either ticket
we introduced earlier. It takes about 40 minutes to tour the entire Main Deck. There are places with glass floors, so take a look down! Next, we’ll introduce the Top Deck Tour. To go to the Top Deck, head to the Top Deck Gate
on the Main Deck at the time indicated on your ticket. You’ll take the elevator twice,
and there are drink and photo services available along the way. There may be some waiting time for the elevators,
so the Top Deck Tour takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Top Deck is 100 meters higher than the Main Deck,
so you can enjoy even better views. We recommend buying a Top Deck Tour ticket, but if you don’t have much time,
it’s better to buy tickets for the Main Deck only. Next, we’ll introduce 3 recommended places in Tokyo Tower. First is the 2nd floor, where there are many souvenir shops. You can buy Japanese-style souvenirs. One particularly recommended spot on this floor
is Hello Kitty Japan. You can buy Sanrio items and popular souvenirs from Tokyo. There are also Hello Kitty merchandise
that you can only buy here. You should try the Milk Cheese Cake. The cheese mousse and milk mousse
are wrapped in crepe dough. It has a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the sweetness of milk and the aroma of cheese
spread throughout your mouth. It’s sold frozen,
so you can eat it after thawing for about 5 hours. On this floor, there is a food court with 5 restaurants. Among them, MOS BURGER is highly recommended. There is a Tokyo Tower Burger that is exclusive to this store. It’s sandwiched with beef patty, fried onion, vegetables,
bacon, and more. The meat sauce is rich and delicious,
so be sure to give it a try! On the 3rd floor, there is also a souvenir shop. You can pick up the photos you took earlier here. At the back of the souvenir shop is the Mother Farm Cafe,
run by a famous ranch in Chiba. You should try the soft-serve ice cream here. You can taste the natural sweetness of the milk. The aftertaste is refreshing, and it’s delicious. This is the end of the Marunouchi area. Now, let’s move on to the Yaesu area. Let’s start by introducing the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station. It was previously located on the basement floor
of Tokyo Station, but it was relocated to the first floor and reopened in July 2024. The store space has expanded about 3.6 times
compared to the previous location, and it now offers over 5,000 different items. They also sell exclusive plush toys, snacks,
and other items that can only be found here. In addition to the classic plush toys, there are also various types of snacks and stickers,
making it a perfect shop for souvenirs. Next is Tokyo Midtown Yaesu,
located just outside the Yaesu Central Entrance. It’s a complex with offices and shops. On the 5th floor of this building, there is Yaesu Terrace. Compared to the rooftops of other buildings, there are fewer people,
so you can relax and enjoy your time there. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Tokyo Station. On the 3rd floor of this building,
there is a seafood izakaya called Mekiki-no-ginji. It’s a recommended place because the prices are inexpensive. The squid tempura is crispy and piping hot
because it’s fried after you order it. The crab miso spreads a rich crab flavor
throughout your mouth. A particularly recommended dish is the bara-chirashi. It’s a colorful seafood bowl topped with tuna, salmon,
cucumber, salmon roe, and more over rice. We’ll briefly introduce 3 popular shops
located on the basement floor. First up is Nemuro Hanamaru. It’s a popular sushi restaurant with the main store
located in Hokkaido. You can easily enjoy sushi in a standing-style,
made by sushi chefs. The menu is available in English and Korean, so it’s easy to use. Just write the numbers on paper, so ordering is simple. Sushi starts at 120 yen per piece, so it’s affordable. It’s a highly recommended restaurant. Next is Po-tama, a specialty shop for pork and egg rice balls. The fluffy tamagoyaki and the fatty luncheon meat
are a perfect combination. The karaage at Torikai-souhonke,
a specialty shop for chicken cuisine, has an addictive flavor with soy sauce and garlic. The oyakodon made with Nagoya Cochin of premium chicken
is incredibly delicious, with the Japanese-style broth blending perfectly with the egg. Next up is Pokémon Center Tokyo DX,
located about a 10-minute walk from Yaesu Central Entrance. It’s a specialty store for Pokémon merchandise
that opened in 2018, and at the entrance on the 5th floor,
there is a statue of a large Snorlax. Compared to the Pokémon Store we mentioned earlier,
there are many more Pokémon items here. This store has exclusive Pikachu plush toys. There is also a Pokémon Café on the same floor. It’s so popular
that it’s almost impossible to enter without a reservation. You can enjoy adorable Pokémon-themed dishes,
so give it a try! We’ll introduce 6 recommended shops in the Yaesu area. The first one is Daisy TOKYO. It’s a popular bakery with over 10 stores in Tokyo and Saitama. Their bread is delicious as well, but this time we’ll introduce 2 sweets
that are our top recommendations at Tokyo Station. First up is the Homemade Cheesecake. This cheesecake uses a lot of meringue,
so it’s fluffy and melts in your mouth. It has a smooth texture and once you try it, you’ll get addicted. Next is the Kanjuku Chocolate. It has a nice aroma of cocoa. It has a subtle bitterness,
but you can taste a sweet and rich flavor. Next up is Zopf. This shop only has one item on the menu, which is curry bread. The outside is crispy, and the inside is chewy. The curry is rich with a subtle spiciness. Next is HANAGATAYA, a souvenir specialty shop
located between platforms 6 and 7. There are items like Sugar Butter Sand, which is filled with white chocolate cream,
and Baumkuchen from Nenrin-ya. It’s a recommended place to buy souvenirs. There is Matsuri, a specialty shop for Ekiben,
across from the souvenir shop. Many people buy Ekiben from this shop
before riding the Shinkansen. A conger eel bento and a luxurious bento with plenty of crab
on top are highly recommended. Tokyo Okashi Land
is located just outside the Yaesu Underground Central Exit. There are snacks
from famous Japanese snack manufacturers. If you like sweet treats, the milk caramel flavored soft serve
is recommended. You can also enjoy freshly made Jagariko,
a popular potato snack in Japan. The most recommended item
is the Honey Butter Potato Chips. It tastes amazing when dipped with plenty of soft serve. There is Kirby Café Petit located about a minute’s walk
from Tokyo Okashi Land. The bread shaped like stars is so cute. This tiramisu comes in a Kirby mug. The cake shaped like a car is so popular. The next place
is located just outside the Yaesu Central Entrance. It’s GRANROOF GARDEN on the 2nd floor. There are many benches and tables,
so you can enjoy the food you bought at Tokyo Station. Tables and counters have power outlets,
so you can also charge your smartphone. We’ll introduce 6 recommended foods from Tokyo Station
that are perfect for eating at this place. First up is Jojoen, a yakiniku specialty restaurant. The short ribs bento
that is drizzled with a fruity and sweet sauce. The short ribs are marbled and melt in your mouth. Tenmusu of Jiraiya has plump shrimp, making it addictive. If you like fruits,
fruit sandwich of Meruhen is highly recommended. The juice spreads throughout your mouth. The menchi-katsu at Kakiyasu, a specialty shop for beef,
is juicy because it uses Matsusaka beef. The conger eel and mackerel sushi at Takimoto,
a specialty shop for seafood, are very luxurious. Also, the seafood bowl with salmon and negitoro is popular,
so it’s worth trying. Especially recommended is the beef fillet cutlet sandwich
at Seiyo Ginza. The fillet meat is moist and tender,
and once you try it, you won’t forget it. The 6 shops just introduced
are located on the basement floor of Daimaru, a department store directly connected to Tokyo Station. Daimaru has a particularly recommended restaurant
on the 12th floor. It’s TOKYO STATION BUFFET Chiso Zanmai. It’s a restaurant where you can enjoy
an all-you-can-eat buffet of Japanese food. Dinner prices start from 4,200 yen per person. The plan, which includes all-you-can-eat crab,
is priced at 8,600 yen per person. If you want more details, we have previously posted a video
about this restaurant, so please check it out. The link of the video is in the description box. Next up is New Days, a convenience store. There are about 20 stores just at Tokyo Station,
including smaller kiosk-style stores. By the way, you won’t find NewDays
at Kyoto Station or Osaka Station. Instead, you’ll find 7-Eleven at those stations. NewDays stores are located in stations
and are typically smaller, so the items for sale differ from other convenience stores. Hot snacks next to the register are not sold in most stores. Also, there are no frozen foods, stationery,
or household products. NewDays at Tokyo Station, which many tourists visit,
offers souvenirs. In addition to that, there are also many items
featuring the Suica penguin. There are manned checkouts,
but self-checkouts have been increasing recently. You can also change the language. You can pay using transportation IC cards like Suica
and PASMO, or with a credit card. Many people buy ekiben before taking the Shinkansen, but most containers are not microwave-safe,
so they can’t be heated. At NewDays, there are microwaves available, and most of their bento containers can be heated
in the microwave. If you want to enjoy a warm meal on the Shinkansen, it’s recommended to buy a bento from NewDays
rather than an ekiben. Now, let’s introduce 30 recommended foods from NewDays. First up is bento. The first one is the Karaage Bento. It includes 4 large pieces of karaage, so it’s satisfying to eat. It has a nice aroma of garlic. The karaage is juicy and has a subtle flavor of ginger. It’s seasoned with a rich soy sauce flavor,
making it a perfect match for the rice. Next up is the Makunouchi Bento. Makunouchi Bento is a type of bento
that includes a variety of side dishes in small portions. The tamagoyaki is fluffy and has a sweet dashi flavor. The meatball is sweet and has a tartness from black vinegar. The croquette has a smooth texture from the potatoes. The Chikuwa-ten, which is a fried fish cake,
has a pleasant aroma of aonori seaweed. The salmon is flavorful and delicious. The salty taste goes well with the rice. Next up is chilled ramen. It’s a collaboration between NewDays and NOROMA,
a ramen shop in Nara, that won first place in the 2018 ramen competition. It’s topped with colorful toppings like green onions, egg,
and naruto. The soup has a rich flavor from the chicken
and dried sardine broth. It has an umami taste, and the aftertaste is refreshing. The chicken chashu is tender and juicy. The noodles have just the right thickness. The soup coats the noodles well, making them tasty. Next is bread. We’ll introduce 7 popular breads. First up is the tortilla. It’s wrapped in paper, so it’s easy to eat on the Shinkansen. The teriyaki chicken and vegetables
are wrapped in a soft tortilla. The chicken is sweet and goes well with the tortilla. The texture of the cabbage and carrots adds a nice touch. In addition to the teriyaki chicken,
we also recommend the tortilla wrapped with taco meat. It has a spicy aroma. The taco meat is seasoned with a rich chili sauce flavor. Inside, there is also a cream cheese sauce,
which adds a subtle sweetness. It’s spicy and delicious. Next up is the curry bread. This item is a collaboration with Ogi Curry,
a restaurant from Hakodate, Hokkaido. It’s deep-fried,
so the outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy. It’s filled with chicken curry. It has spiciness and mild sweetness. It has an authentic flavor
that you wouldn’t expect from a convenience store. Next up is this bread filled with yakisoba. It has a savory aroma from the sauce. The mayonnaise adds a smooth texture. The chewy noodles are seasoned with a rich flavor
and go well with the bread. The texture of the pickled ginger adds a nice touch. Next is the sweet potato pie. It has a wonderful aroma of butter and sesame. The pie crust is crispy. Inside, there is a sweet potato paste. It’s made from sweet potatoes called Anno-imo,
so it has a rich, sweet flavor. Next up is the pork cutlet sandwich. The bread is moist and fluffy. The pork cutlet is thick and filling. The rich sauce and mayonnaise
are a perfect match with the pork cutlet. The egg sandwich is especially popular. Compared to other convenience stores,
the egg filling is smoother, giving it a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It’s just as delicious as the egg sandwich from 7-Eleven! Next up, we’ll introduce 10 types of sweets. First, let’s start with Marumocchi. It has a cute Suica penguin on top. The dough is chewy and addictive. Inside, there is custard cream. It has a rich egg flavor and it’s so sweet. In addition to the custard filling, there is also red bean paste. This penguin has a different expression than the one earlier. The red bean paste inside is sweet
and has a nice bean texture. Both are delicious, so you should try them! Next up is the crepe. The crepe is thin and moist. It’s filled with cheesecake, blueberry sauce,
and whipped cream. The cheesecake is fluffy and melts in your mouth. It has an authentic flavor. Next up is this dessert themed after POMPOMPURIN. It’s daifuku, a Japanese sweet made with mochi. and Shimizuya, which was founded in 1959. The dough is fluffy and soft. The whipped cream inside is made with milk from Hokkaido. It’s not too sweet,
and you can taste the natural sweetness of the milk. Next up is the cheesecake. It’s made with cream cheese from Hokkaido,
giving it a rich flavor. There is also a subtle lemon flavor. It’s shaped like a stick, making it easy to eat. Next is the Melon-pan. It’s bite-sized, so you can enjoy it like a snack. It’s filled with cream inside dough that has a melon aroma. The crispy texture of the dough
and the sweet cream are a perfect match. Next up is mitarashi dango. It’s in a cup instead of on skewers,
so you can enjoy it without getting your hands dirty. The soy sauce-based sauce contains Japanese dashi,
which gives it an elegant flavor. The chewy texture is addictive. Next is taiyaki. It uses chewier dough than typical taiyaki. It’s filled with custard cream. It’s made with milk from Hokkaido, giving it a rich flavor. It tastes similar to the Marumocchi we mentioned earlier. Next, we’ll introduce 10 types of rice balls
that are very popular at NewDays. First up is this onigiri topped with negitoro. The tuna is moist and has a salty flavor from the soy sauce. It also contains wasabi, so it has a subtle spiciness. The aroma and texture of the sesame add a nice touch. Next up is the omurice-style onigiri. The egg is fluffy. The rice is seasoned with ketchup. Inside, there is ripe tomato sauce, which gives it a rich flavor. Next is the shrimp mayonnaise onigiri. It has a nice aroma of seaweed. The rice is mixed with egg, giving it a subtle sweetness. The plump shrimp and the mayonnaise sauce go well together. Next is Masu-sushi Onigiri. It’s made by pressing rice and trout,
which is seasoned with salt and vinegar, into a round shape. It has a refreshing aroma of the vinegar. I’m not sure if you’ll like it, but give it a try. Next is this onigiri with egg. Unlike regular seaweed, this one is seasoned with soy sauce. Inside, it has a creamy egg yolk. It has a rich flavor because it’s seasoned with soy sauce
and other seasonings. It’s a perfect for breakfast. Next is a beef onigiri. This item is a collaboration with Shinkineya,
a company founded in 1921. The rice is mixed with sweetened minced beef. Inside, there is plenty of beef. The beef is seasoned with soy sauce and sugar,
making it incredibly delicious. Next up is the eel onigiri. The rice is mixed with eel sauce, giving it a sweet flavor. The eel inside is savory and has an authentic taste. The subtle spiciness and aroma of sansho pepper
add a nice touch. Next is the salmon onigiri. The seaweed is grilled, so it has a nice aroma even more. There is a large piece of grilled salmon. It’s made with the belly of the salmon, so it’s rich and fatty. It’s a luxurious rice ball. Next is the salmon roe onigiri. The salmon roe has a salty soy sauce flavor
that goes well with the rice. The amount of salmon roe was small,
but the flavor was delicious. The last one is a cheese hamburger steak onigiri. It’s twice the size of a regular rice ball. The tomato sauce is fruity
and goes well with the hamburger steak. The cheddar cheese is rich and so good. This rice ball is filling! Finally, let us introduce Tokyo Ramen Street. Tokyo Ramen Street gathers eight popular ramen shops
from Japan. During lunchtime, it’s such a popular area
that all the restaurants have long lines. This time, we’ll introduce two popular restaurants. First, let’s start with the salt ramen specialty store, Hirugao. We’ll introduce two types of ramen. First, let us introduce the most popular salt ramen. It’s a simple ramen made with premium salt from Vietnam. The broth is made from dried bonito,
chicken bones, and scallops, giving it a richer flavor than it looks. The toppings include green onions, bamboo shoots,
chashu pork, and seaweed. The thin noodles, made from wheat grown in Hokkaido,
blend well with the soup. Next, we’ll have the tsukemen. It’s a luxurious tsukemen with egg and shrimp wontons. The soup has more sourness compared to the previous ramen,
and it’s even richer. The shrimp wontons have a sweet taste
and a nice chewy texture. It’s recommended to dip the half-boiled egg
in the soup and eat it. The noodles are thicker and have a chewier texture
compared to regular ramen noodles. If you prefer a rich flavor,
tsukemen is highly recommended over ramen. Alright, let’s go to the next restaurant. Finally, we’ll introduce Rokurinsha,
the most popular restaurant at Tokyo Ramen Street. It’s a famous ramen specialty store
that popularized tsukemen in Japan. There’s always a long line, and during lunchtime,
you may have to wait for more than an hour. You can purchase a food ticket
just before entering the restaurant. This time, let us introduce two dishes. First, we’ll have the ramen. Rokurinsha is famous for its tsukemen,
but their ramen is also recommended. Unlike tsukemen, it has plenty of pork bone broth,
so it’s a bit richer in fat compared to tsukemen. The noodles are thin, so the soup coats them well. By the way, Junjiro seems to prefer this ramen over tsukemen. Finally, let us introduce the tsukemen. The soup has a nice aroma of chicken bones and fish powder. The noodles are thick and have a nice scent of wheat. Compared to ramen soup, the tsukemen has a rich
and thick flavor with a slight thickness. We’ll share the hidden tips for enjoying the soup
after finishing the noodles. Let’s dip the noodles in the soup generously and eat. The thick noodles have a chewy texture. It’s a perfect combination for the rich soup. Once you try Rokurinsha’s tsukemen,
you’ll become addicted to it to the point
where you won’t want to go to other tsukemen restaurants! After finishing the noodles,
please hand the bowl with the remaining soup to the staff. They will add hot water with fish broth and yuzu to the soup. The rich soup becomes milder in flavor,
allowing you to enjoy the tsukemen until the last. Tokyo Station is not only a place to board the Shinkansen, but it also has many attractions, so be sure to check it out!

Thanks!
Awesome guide.. Tokyo station is overwhelming
Recently I am been obsessed with Shio Pan after seeing a long queue at Pain Maison around Higashi… is like a salty less buttery croissant…Ginza Kimuraya does a good version
My first trip to Tokyo didn't go as well as I'd hoped due to poor planning. This guide is a wealth of resources that will help my next trip this summer!!
I love going to Tokyo Station, so many great shops there. With this guide, I'll try to make my next visit more efficient, thank you for another great and very resourceful video guide~ 🥰
What a great detailed tour & explanation of this Tokyo station, I will be visiting Japan in 5 days and cannot wait to try a lot of the delicious food there. 😊
Hey guys!!! 👋🏻
I know new days shops but I never really tried there foods yet but some of there 🍙 onigiris looked good!!!!
this is a great video, i now know where to go when i visit thankyou
Thank you for this great video ! I like Tokyo station – the old building is so beautiful. I also like trains a lot, and its fun to get a plattform ticket, so that you can see Shinkansen and take pictures. As Tokyo is the end / start station, the trains stay there for about 20 to 30 minutes, so you have enough time (in other stations, the trains stay in the station only for about 2 minutes). Tokyo station is also a great place to have a meal (for example in one of the ramen restaurants), or to buy a tasty ekiben.
wow every food looks so good. I wish i can eat them all!
