前往姬路城之前 挑戰大阪梅田移動迷宮|睽違8年的大阪之旅 EP2

Today we’re going to Himeji Castle. Because our second hotel is in Nagahoribashi, we’re departing from Nagahoribashi. Switch at Shinsaibashi to the Midosuji Line. Then transfer to JR at Umeda. Let’s go. Time to get off. I’m heading to the north ticket gate (kita gate). Entering… Osaka’s transport maze. Oh yes, there’s a sign! Here’s the JR Line. I’m not responsible! I just pay. You two are in charge of directions. Maybe we just follow the crowd? He took my ticket! Of course he did. Hey, Uniqlo! No more shopping—we already spent 30,000 yen yesterday. Right here. JR Osaka Station. That one? Yeah. But it says Kitashinchi. Not that one. Not that one. It’s JR Osaka Station. Oh right, that’s it. That was in the guide. Osaka Station City. I want to take a photo of this. I feel like an old person with dementia. So I just hold your hand— —and you lead me around. Time to buy tickets. Buy the tickets. How much? Hurry and press it. Himeji, 1,460 yen. 1,460. Hurry, hurry! Platform 5. Where is platform 5? We need the Kobe Line. Special Rapid to Himeji, 10:15 departure. It’s 10:09 now. Where’s the escalator? Which one? That one. This one’s fine too. You’re my… Nope. The mystery of Umeda. Just mute it anyway. 🎶 You are my eyes 🎶 Leading me through Umeda’s labyrinth. Then let’s get in line. This is the Limited Express. Yeah, the next one is a Special Rapid. The train’s here! So many people! One hour? We stood for two hours at Universal Studios. This rope— —is for safety. Because there are so many people. That’s why they put this rope up. Such a mysterious rope. The train to Himeji— If you take JR Rapid, it’s about 65 to 70 minutes. About halfway through, around 30 minutes in, you’ll reach Kobe. So when you plan your trip, you can consider that. There’s also a Shinkansen (from Shin-Osaka) to Himeji— It takes about 30 minutes. But the fare is much more expensive (about 3x). This train has reached the final stop. Please disembark. So they’ll make you get off. You can’t just stay on. At most, you’d go back to Osaka. Here. Then turn here— —that’s Himeji Castle. We’re really hungry, so we’re grabbing lunch next to Himeji Station first. You two grinding looks so funny. Let me take a photo. You’ve got to grind it finely to release the aroma. Why does yours smell so good? You’re supposed to dip the pork cutlet in this. Just pour the sauce into it. Then you get that sesame flavor. Give it a stir— —and dip it. Dip the pork cutlet. Sesame dressing is for the shredded cabbage. 23 460 Only 460? Did I calculate that right? This makes 4,000. Times 0.23… So clear. Only thing is the traffic lights. I looked at the sky just now—so dark. Thought there were storm clouds… But no, wait— I was wearing sunglasses. That’s why it looked dark. And you laughed at me for lining up at the ATM— —you’re no better. Why does the sky look off-color? They ran a red light. Bad drivers exist in every country. Should be one here too. There’s a map! This place is huge! Well, it’s a castle. We’re here. Then we head in. They said this plaza opens during Golden Week. So it should be open today. Yeah. Let’s go check it out! Isn’t it Golden Week? The castle is inside here. And there’s a shrine here too. Do we need tickets? Yeah. How much is it? 1,000 yen. Admission is 1,000 yen. Since we’re here, we definitely have to go in. It’s so beautiful~ It’s really something special. Very different from the ones we’ve seen before. With cherry blossoms, it looks just like… …that city skin I had. That animation skin. The skin? It’s called the White Heron Castle skin. Like the castle’s “skin.” And cherry blossoms drifting in the air. Hey, even my Minecraft has cherry blossoms floating around. And I can sit there forever. This view is so clear. Yes, right here— —this is a good spot for a photo. Then your brother won’t make fun of me— —for not getting the camera focused right. Last admission is until 4 p.m. Then we should hurry. Let’s finish touring the castle first. Then check out the garden. Aren’t we supposed to buy tickets? Yeah. Let’s go. We’ve seen so many castles— —but this one is labeled as a National Treasure. That means it’s top-tier. So what about Tokugawa Ieyasu’s house? Nijo Castle didn’t say that. It’s not labeled as a National Treasure. And along the way— —you see so many signs saying “World Heritage Site.” What’s the special criteria? It’s huge. What exactly defines a World Heritage Site? Ask the United Nations. It’s defined by the UN. There’s an organization— —that’s in charge of this. Lots of people here too. But since the space is big— —it doesn’t feel crowded. This must be bigger than Meiji Shrine. The grounds— —just this part alone feels like a big athletic field. You could run laps here. It’s awesome. I really want to go in. Where? That giant field area. Can we go inside the castle first? Okay, let’s go. The castle is only open until 4 p.m. This angle looks pretty good. There are lots of English guides here too. They really put effort into this. It shows how much they value this place. It’s available in many languages. I just picked up a Traditional Chinese one. I mean the tour guide. We need to change into indoor shoes here. It’s too dark inside—I need to take off my sunglasses. Otherwise I can’t see the path. Let’s go upstairs. We can go this way first. It has six floors. We should be able to go up, right? It’s one-way only. You can see people entering the castle. You can also see the train station. It’s really cool inside here. Because it’s a wooden building— —it stays naturally cool inside. Look at that armor. It’s shaking! Of course it is. We’re on the water. The water is so close, it feels very peaceful. Where are you from? I’m from Taiwan. Thank you. Where are these two from? Where are you guys from? Where are you from? Romania. Thank you, from Romania. This is an international-level boat! I will mainly speak in Japanese. This boat is named “Shirasagi” (White Heron). White Heron. Got it. It’s a very nice boat. Very nice boat. Yesterday on the boat… It’s very valuable. Very valuable. They say this boat is made from nanmu wood—very new. The sky garden. So cute! (Wow from mom) Someone’s waving! Waving from the bridge. Just like that little kid earlier. You really have to film this— —to capture what it’s like passing under the bridge. It’ll look better on video. But if I record, my battery will die. Then don’t open that app and you’ll have battery left. Oh right, just don’t open it. Let’s record some video. I want to give it a try. Recording us crossing the bridge. This is such a lucky city. To all the friends who visit Himeji Castle— —I hope you’ve learned something valuable before you leave.
