【女ひとり旅】激安バスツアーの現実 秩父三社めぐりで三峯神社、秩父神社、宝登山神社に日帰りで行ってきた

Chichibu Three Shrines Bus Tour Good morning Today’s trip starts in Shinjuku. Today I will be participating in a bus tour around the three Chichibu shrines! This tour I found on the internet seems to be an efficient way to visit the three Chichibu shrines: Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine in one day. I will give an honest review of this tour, so please read until the end. I have arrived at the meeting place! Coffee is also available. The person in charge will show you where the bus is and everyone will head there. Seats on the bus were assigned and I was in the last row by the window. Lucky for a comfortable seat! The first thing I thought was… It’s a pretty narrow seat. The last row doesn’t seem to be able to recline. I’ve been wanting to go to Mitsumine Shrine for a while and thought I’d do it on my own if possible, but since it’s in such an inconvenient location, I decided to take a tour. I chose this tour because it was cheap! The bus was packed to the brim because it cost an unbelievable 6,480 yen to visit three shrines . I’ll put up with some inconvenience since it’s so cheap. Approximately 90% of the participants were women and 10% were men. There were quite a few people who participated alone. The tour conductor handed out maps of Mitsumine Shrine and explained the highlights. For a restroom break, stop at Hanazono Roadside Station in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture. I love roadside stations, but I don’t have much time, so I’ll just take a quick look. What a stylish assortment. Craft beer is also abundant. I bought the famous chichibu mochi (432 yen) and large black pork mince (250 yen). It’s full of meat and delicious. As I entered Chichibu City , I started to think about how Alfie’s Sakurai was from Chichibu, and I gradually got deeper into the mountains. There is a big dam! After driving on the mountain road for nearly an hour, we finally arrived at Mitsumine Shrine at 11:30 . It took 4 hours including a break from Shinjuku. The tour time for Mitsumine Shrine is 2 hours. This shrine, located deep in the mountains of Chichibu, is one of the best power spots in the Kanto region . It was founded by Takeru Nihon, and is a rare shrine where the wolf is the messenger of the gods. I’ve learned about the highlights, so I’m excited to see them all. Mitsutorii This is a triple torii gate, which is rare even in Japan. And on both sides, there are guardian wolves instead of guardian dogs. Mitsumine Shrine is based on mountain worship and worships wolves as messengers of the gods, and has been considered a symbol of warding off evil and protection since ancient times. Climb up a gentle slope lined with stone monuments. The Zuishinmon gate came into view. Zuishinmon The bright vermillion entrance to the god. The colorful carvings are wonderful. As I passed through the Suishinmon gate, the atmosphere suddenly changed. The air feels crisp, cold and clear. You will be overwhelmed by the huge cedar trees. Let’s go visit the shrine. The dragon sculpture symbolizes his role as the god of water. It is said to be the strongest power spot in the Kanto region, and many people visit it. I have been visiting the shrine thoroughly. The worship hall has an architectural style called Gongen-zukuri, and the gorgeous carvings are spectacular. This is a red-eyed dragon that appeared on the stone pavement of the shrine. It is said to be auspicious because it suddenly appeared in 2012, the year of the Dragon. It’s truly gorgeous and beautiful and I can look at it forever. By the way, the main shrine is located at the back of the worship hall. I came to the awarding place. Apply for amulets by writing them on paper. After applying, go to pick up your ticket when your name is called. Go through the building with the store and proceed to the back area. Head ahead to Enmusubi Tree and Okariya Shrine. It is said that the cypress and fir trees grow close together like a husband and wife, which brings luck in marriage. Next, we will visit Okariya Shrine. Mikariya Shrine is a separate shrine that enshrines the wolf of Mitsumine Shrine. It is said that it was built at the place where Yamato Takeru of Japan is said to have stayed. The interior of the tavern was lined with wolf statues, making it an impressive sight. Let’s go back the way we came. I’m on tour so I’m concerned about time. I actually wanted to take it a little slower. I stopped by the store. Wolf goods and more are on sale. There were various foods and drinks such as sweets, and I bought craft beer from Mitsumine Shrine♪ Set of 2 bottles: 1,540 yen The tour time is about 1 hour, so let’s take a quick look. This is a large cedar tree that is 800 years old. The method of worship is to take three deep breaths and pray. Currently, I can’t touch it, so I received the air touch. This is the final place of worship. Yohaiden is a place where you can worship the inner shrine from a distance. The Okumiya of Mitsumine Shrine is located at the top of Mt. Myohogatake in front of the shrine, and it is said that if you visit the shrine from here, you are actually visiting the Okumiya. I’d like to go climbing someday to get to the actual Okumiya, which is a 3 hour round trip. 20 minutes until the bus meeting time. Lunch is not included on this tour, so please eat something here. Chichibu specialty Waraji Katsudon! I wanted to eat it, but I didn’t have time so I couldn’t. I bought Chichibu’s specialty miso potato (400 yen). The battered and fried potatoes are topped with miso sauce. It was so delicious! The bus leaves on time and heads to Chichibu Shrine. Mitsumine Shrine was quite large, so I was in a hurry in 2 hours, but I’m glad I was able to go to the shrine I had always wanted to visit. I feel like I received a lot of power! This time I wanted to stay overnight and visit. I’m a little tired and want to take a break, but the seats are at right angles and my posture is difficult… Today is mid-April, but the cherry blossoms in Chichibu are in full bloom and I could see them everywhere along the way. I’m glad to have come in a good season. Oh! This was a dam lake. Lovely emerald green water. It would be nice to be able to get off and take a walk. After about an hour and a half while enjoying the spectacular view, we arrived at the downtown area of Chichibu. The bus stopped at the Chichibu Station Local Industry Center parking lot. From here, walk to Chichibu Shrine. The meeting time is 1 hour later. We’ve arrived! About 5 minutes from the parking lot. Chichibu Shrine is a shrine with a history of about 2100 years. It is worshiped as the god of wisdom, learning, and business prosperity. The shrine building, rebuilt by Tokugawa Ieyasu, is known for its gorgeous carvings. If you go on a tour, there will always be a line. Chichibu Shrine’s brightly colored carvings are the main attraction. Introducing representative sculptures. “Child-rearing tiger” A symbol of prayer for raising children. I came across some profound words about what parents should know. “Tethered Dragon” slips out every night. There is a legend that it sealed away the dragon. “Three Genki Monkeys” Look carefully, listen carefully, and speak well. “Hokushin Owl” God of wisdom, symbol of academic achievement. Chichibu Shrine is apparently famous for its water fortune-telling fortune, so I’ll give it a try♪ It looks like you’ll be soaking in the spring here. As soon as I soaked the fortune-telling in water, the letters began to emerge. Yay! It’s Daikichi! ! ! I drew Daikichi for the first time in my life! A ginkgo tree planted by Her Imperial Highness Princess Setsuko of Chichibu Palace. It is said to be called “milk ginkgo” because it grows to resemble a woman’s plump breasts . Colorful colored carp were swimming in the clear pond called Amagaike . Although it is not a very large shrine, there was a lot to see. I’ll be heading back to the bus soon. Shopping at a roadside station-like store called Jibasan Shoten. Including this, I have 1 hour of free time, so I’m pretty busy. A machine where you can sample sake for 100 yen, recommended by the tour conductor. I tried some Chichibu white wine. The scent is nice. I guess the taste is bland… and I also bought the miso dressing and miso potato sauce recommended by the tour conductor . I hurried back to the bus without having time to look at any other products. I made it on time! Now, we’re off to our last stop, Hodosan Shrine. Most of the participants on the tour were around my age or older , and everyone was calm, and no one was late during the tour. It took about 40 minutes to reach the approach to Hodosan Shrine. Everyone was cheering as the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom. The meeting time is 30 minutes later. Hodosan Shrine is known for its protection against fires and disasters. It is said that the name comes from the fact that Takeru Takeru of Japan was saved from a forest fire. At first, I couldn’t read the word “Hodo-san,” which means treasure climbing. It is said that you can go to Okumiya by ropeway, but it is not possible in the 30 minute tour. It’s a shame. There are five dragons in front of the main shrine. The brightly colored carvings on the sides and back are spectacular, and this is a characteristic of Chichibu shrines. Misogi Fountain. A sacred spring where Japanese Takeru purified himself before climbing Mt. Hodo. There seems to be an Inari Shrine in the back, so let’s go there. It is said to be a venerable Inari statue that was commissioned from Fushimi Inari in Kyoto. The number of Inari dolls dedicated there is amazing. It’s almost time for the meeting, so I head back to the bus. I was hungry so I bought some green onion miso croquettes at the shop. Impressions of this bus tour. I thought the tour itself was well planned and great. I don’t think it would have been possible for an individual to visit all three Chichibu shrines in one day. I think the visiting time at each shrine is reasonable. However, I wanted to see it a little more slowly. There were many times I gave up. Also, the seats were too narrow which was a pain. I can’t really move, and even though I’m relatively small, it’s hard on me, so I think it would be really hard on men. I was on the bus for a total of 9 hours, which put a lot of strain on my lower back and back. Well, this is my problem, so if you’re young and energetic, you’ll probably be fine. I was pretty okay with night buses, though. I’ve only complained about the bus, but there were two drivers who took care of safety, and there was also a tour guide, who I enjoyed explaining about the shrine and chatting with. The restroom break on the way back was about 15 minutes at Miyoshi PA. There were shops like this lined up, but I didn’t have a proper meal today so I should have been hungry, but I was too tired and didn’t feel like buying anything. Conclusion. The tour was good. But it was too hard for me. The bus arrived at Shinjuku around 8pm. The return ride was 3 hours. Will I participate in a bus tour again in the future? Hmm, I wonder if it’s possible for a tour with less riding time… Thank you for watching until the end! Please subscribe to the channel, give a high rating, and leave a comment.
