私が小中学生の頃は（たぶん今も）毎日下校前に「松陰先生のことば」を斉唱していました。
たとえば「誠は天の道なり。誠を思うは人の道なり。至誠にして動かざるもの未だこれあらざるなり」云々。
東京の松陰神社にもいつか行ってみたいですね。

中学生の頃まで萩市に住んでいましたので、懐かしい景色を堪能させてもらいました。
もう萩を離れてから数十年経っていますが、萩心海とか他のお店も普通に営業が続いていて以前と変わらずの景色にちょっと安心してしまいますね。
