Okinawa Adventure: IE Island, Mount Gusuku Hike, Beach Day & American Village | Japan Vlog | Part 1
on my way to okanawa Terminal [Music] 3 I’m in heaven already there are orchids there are [Music] orchids all right I got my bag and it’s time to go meet Solomon it’s Solomon we made it to okanawa I did he was here already yeah all right what is this this is the PO spice kitchen NSK the best Indian food on the restaurant best in ok it rolling this is my first time ever trying a [Music] lassie this tastes like yogurt and cheese and coconut together I like it but it’s weird I’ll tell you all right Get Ready Get Ready Get Ready look at that that it’s huge that one is normal size this is like party size I got to show you the view in the daylight oh my gosh it’s so beautiful all right we’re on our way to explore an ocean cave do some swimming and see what else we want to get up too is that right all right I forgot to film anything until just now so we had breakfast the view is amazing um looks like it might be a good sunset today and yeah it’s very hot already and very humid that’s why we’re going to go swimming so yeah this is our boat we’re going there all right we’re on board the ferry it’s probably about a 30 minute ride to inoshima Island we’re we’re hydrating and we’re going to get our sunscreen on it’s going to be good it’s half D with trees okay we rented bikes and we’re going to try and find this cave first we’re going to the mountain yeah first going to the mountain and then we’re going to try and find a cave they are pedal assist super exciting so yeah Adventure Time [Music] look at [Music] that this is amazing look at the plants oh my gosh oh my gosh so many butterflies too so we’re heading up to this mountain and I realized I forgot my SD card for the GoPro it wasn’t in the GoPro so I’m really upset I was so excited to film this ride on my GoPro and and go swimming and film but you know what I’m going to try and treat it is like hey enjoy the moment be in the moment um and I did bring electroly powder so that’s a perk and look at this view look at this look at where we are it’s so beautiful Solomon’s getting hang of his electric bike so am I it’s it helps so much on these Hills and look at where we’re going look at the mountain oh my gosh guys it’s so hot I would die on a regular bike boy boy oh boy this is hot it’s like 90° 90% humidity Solomon just disappeared and these inlines are something else bro oh hey look thank Jesus are we there Lord please please let us be there oh it doesn’t even matter because it’s so beautiful all right wow you can see the mistiness of this lens is all from my sweat and the humidity here we go this bird’s nest Fern these ones are as big as me these are house plants in the US and they’re just growing wild here oh my gosh I’m in heaven this looks like an elephant ear oh my gosh well we made it that is so beautiful look you can see around the whole the whole island there’s Solomon and there’s people and there’s back to where we started what is it about humans that want to Climb Every Mountain shaped item on the planet and suffer I don’t know cuz I just did it and I don’t know but now all the pain seems worth [Music] it Solomon just reminded me and pointed out there’s an evergreen here on a tropical island I don’t know what it is but there’s another one here it’s so weird weird cuz you’re around all these big green leaves tropical plants then Birds Christmas tree yeah you got to Christmas tree I don’t know what this is but I just drank the whole thing and it tastes like yakult like some kind of yogurt drink and if I use Google Translate it probably would say that on it but I didn’t I just wanted to experience it and it was good classic Japan we’re out in the middle of these agricultural fields and there’s still these two vending machines that’s fantastic look at this this is my first time ever in the tropics and it is gorgeous and we are about to go explore a cave but this is our view and there’s something there’s a stingray do you see that out there or a turtle there’s a turtle where’d it go go wow you see it cuz it came up I don’t see it must have gone down to a reef yeah I don’t know where it went all right here comes the cave let’s do this thing let’s do it oh it’s just so beautiful [Music] you got to see this there’s Roots popping out here there’s like this area where all the the minerals have run down and left these um I don’t know shapes in the Rock so cool and I found a cave cricket oh my gosh there’s a cave cricket in [Music] here no actually the real cave cricket is right there my first time walking on a white sand beach oh my gosh what okay wow it’s so beautiful here comes the sun oh my goodness it’s very bright all right so we just enjoyed probably about 40 minutes of swimming in the ocean and it was so nice just hovering on the surface with my goggles and looking down at all the coral and the fish it’s so beautiful so we’re going to walk down the beach a little bit and just kind of look at go beach beach combing and then I’ll show you what cool things I find had to put the rashar back on cuz man the sun is intense here but I’m just had a sandwich going to do some beach combing and then probably bike back but it’s been so nice this is so cool this is my first time ever on a beach that has coral and so I’m just having the time of my life walking here trying to find Cool Shapes it’s kind of sharp so I’m not trying to step on it but at that that’s beautiful little little nub of coral how neat is that look at this that’s so cool it’s just so neat seeing the different shapes too cuz we got this guy and then you’ve got a few feet away this this one and then literally next to that guy is this one that looks like a tree that’s so cool I love it I love it this is amazing my first time on a tropical beach and this is so nice oh my gosh wow White Sands and blue ocean something I’ve only ever seen in YouTube videos and on TV but here we are it’s delightful fact I think I’m going to go wait in the ocean again I think I’m going to head back uh maybe take one more dip put my phone back take another dip and then we’re going to go back to town give our bikes back and then um yeah then head back to the ferry um I I didn’t film as much as I anticipated but I actually really had a great time and I think um part of this was that I left my GoPro and uh the SD card so I couldn’t but I also um realized that like I was so in the moment you know running down on the beach and feeling the white sand beach for the first time seeing coral on a beach for the first time swimming in a bright blue ocean like this for the first time I was doing all of this for the first time without filming all of it you know and just hanging out with Solomon and talking about coral and all this stuff and it was just so nice and uh you know I love telling stories and I love filming and taking pictures but I think this is also a great learning opportunity that you know what it’s it does not make or break your trip if you forgot your camera or forgot something like you can make the best trip still you know without having it all together and not filming everything like I’m trying to make an okowa Vlog here right so there’s just I pressure on myself that I need to film everything and get it all right but I want to learn to do life gently and softly and and share out of a place of joy and fullness and not out of a place of I have to do it this way and I have to do it this much and so I’m learning that and that’s been a good lesson so today for getting the SD card was actually really great and I really enjoyed so many moments just being there so that’s great I’m happy with it [Music] [Music] [Music] tell me you’re leaving so we are there’s one uh no that guy getting close as possible we are in American village now we’re going to find some food and shop around [Music] all right there she blows American village so this is where we’re going burrito gang Mexican food is hard to find in Japan is it good nice okay I’m going to take a bite it is so good worth it worth it we needed this we’re going to Cafe San Francisco now it’s going to have have an awesome view up there Behold The View playing my smooth Jaz you didn’t get the pretty he’s matching look at the pink shirt oh my gosh and and look at accidental accidental matching purple matching purple pink pink pink it’s a vibe Sunset over the ocean truly is very very special so 24/7 365 Christmas yes ma’am oh my gosh why what is happening we’re in okanawa why oh my gosh it’s Santa’s Workshop we found the actual Store look at it it’s Christmas [Music] land nice I like it’s great need a license plate we got you [Music] covered all right we got the towel extra water the Drone the camera the GoPro Laden down with film equipment and photography equipment we are going to where we are going to Cape hoo Capo to fly drones and then we’re going snorkeling and then waterfall waterfall then snorkeling and yeah and then we’ll see what happens in the
