【三重グルメ】名物オムライスに挑戦する前に気になるランチを食べてみた！「松の家」【Great value daily lunch / Mie in Japan】
今回ご紹介する出張のグルメは、三重県伊賀市の地元の人たちに長年愛されている
名店「松の家」さんを訪れました。
実はこのお店は名物の“巨大オムライスで知られていて、ネットでは「デカ盛りのお店」
として話題になっています。
今回はそのオムライスに挑戦するつもりで向かったのですが
お店の前にあった「サービスランチ780円」の看板に惹かれ、予定を変更。
せっかくなので、まずは地元の方が日常的に食べている定食メニューの実力を
確かめてみることにしました。
店内に入ると、木のテーブルに手書きのメニュー表、壁に貼られた料理の写真。
どこか懐かしく、昭和レトロな雰囲気がただよう落ち着いた空間です。
案内されたテーブル席でメニューを開くと、びっしりと書かれた定食の数々に驚愕！
オムライスをはじめ、からあげ、ミックスフライ、しょうが焼きなど、
何回来ても飽きない」**というのはこのことか…と思わされるラインナップでした。
そして今回注文したのは、平日限定のサービスランチ「とんかつ定食」。
このとんかつがまたすごかった。
衣はサクサク、中は肉厚でジューシー。一切れが大きくて、食べ応え抜群なのに
肉は柔らかくてとても食べやすい。口の中にじゅわっと広がる旨味と、ご飯の相性は
言うまでもなく最高でした。
さらに、熱々のお吸い物、優しい味の煮物、そして山盛りの千切りキャベツ。
キャベツのシャキシャキ感が、脂の旨さを程よくリセットしてくれて箸が止まりません。
定食のバランス感がとても良く、正直これで780円は信じられない満足感でした。

This time, I visited Matsunoie, a famous restaurant that has been loved by locals for many years
in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. This restaurant is known for its specialty “giant omelet rice” and has become a hot topic on the Internet as a “restaurant with large portions.”
This time, I went there with the intention of trying the omelet rice, but I was attracted by a “780 yen service lunch” sign in front of the restaurant and changed my plans. Since I was there, I decided to first check out the quality of the set meal menu that the locals eat on a daily basis.
When I entered the restaurant, there was a handwritten menu on a wooden table and photos of dishes on the wall. It was a calm space with a nostalgic, retro Showa atmosphere.
When I opened the menu at the table I was shown to, I was amazed by the number of set meals written all over it! The lineup made me think that this is what they mean when they say “I never get bored of coming here,” with dishes such as omelet rice, fried chicken, mixed fries, and ginger pork.
And this time, I ordered the “tonkatsu set meal,” a service lunch that is only available on weekdays. This tonkatsu was also amazing. The batter was crispy and the inside was thick and juicy. Each slice was large and very filling, yet the meat was soft and easy to eat. The delicious flavor that spread throughout your mouth went perfectly with the rice, needless to say, it was the best.
On top of that, there was a piping hot soup, a gently flavored simmered dish, and a mountain of shredded cabbage. The crunchiness of the cabbage offsets the deliciousness of the fat just right, and I couldn’t stop eating. The set meal was well-balanced, and to be honest, I couldn’t believe that it was only 780 yen, as I was so satisfied. If you’re ever in Iga, be sure to give it a try!
