【富山】日本最大級チューリップまつり｜となみチューリップフェアを歩く40分さんぽ旅
Hello! [Destination Walk] Koto Trip 🐦️ We are bringing you the scenery of a walk in a small travel destination. This time, we will introduce the “Tonami Tulip Fair” held in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture. This event is famous as Japan’s largest tulip festival. Many people come from all over the country to enjoy the colorful flowers. Today is May 5th. The last day of the day fair is crowded with many people.At the beginning, you can see many people enjoying taking commemorative photos at the large tulip monument and the TONAMI letter monument.Unfortunately , we had to give up on the venue’s symbol “Tulip Tower” due to the long line.Now , we are walking on the water flower bed above the pond. The flowerbeds lined up in the water are reflected in the water and look very beautiful.Every time the wind blows, the water surface sways and the flowers sway in the wind.Under the soft spring sunlight, everywhere you look, colorful tulips are in full bloom.On your right, you can see the viola village.Yellow , orange, white, etc. An area with brightly colored violas in full bloom To the left, you can see Shibazakura (Shibazakura) hills covered in bright moss phlox , as if the entire hill was dyed in spring colors.Next , let’s walk on the “Tulip Skywalk.” Here, you can walk at a high point like a walkway in the air , and see large flower beds and floating flower beds. A spot where you can see the flower pattern drawn with tulips from above, which is very beautiful. Pass the Tulip Tower, see the TONAMI letters and the tulip monument, get off the skywalk, and head towards the south area between the circular plaza and the Tonami City Cultural Hall . On the right hand side is a shop selling souvenirs and local specialties.On the left hand side is a path where various types of tulips are blooming and it is very fun to walk around.Many visitors gather to take pictures, look at the flowers, and enjoy the spring in their own way.At the Tulip Square, street performances are about to begin. The scent of tulips and the sound of water mixed in the soft spring air.Today ‘s walk was amazing to say the least.☺️Next , we headed back to Shibazakura Hill, which is on a slightly higher ground , so you can see the slope of moss phlox from above.The bright purple flowers spread out all over, making for a very gorgeous view. It’s color.I found a water wheel from a hill. Five large wooden water wheels lined up and rotated powerfully.The sound of the water made me feel nostalgic and cool.The bridge was also covered with tulips.Let ‘s take a leisurely walk along the waterway towards the north area. After walking for a while, I came to the central area. LOVE A street piano that can be played freely is placed in the flower bed.The surrounding area is filled with vivid flowers.The atmosphere is like a scene from a story.As you continue along the road, you can hear the sounds of children having fun.The sound of laughter rides on the wind, making the entire park bright and lively.There are many bubble skies swaying softly in the wind along this path, and the sky and ground are like soap bubbles . Proceeding further to the east area, the spring walk surrounded by flowers, wind, and sounds continues. Street performances are also held in the square in front of the Dutch windmill, attracting many people. Here in the east area, there are Toyama Furusato Hiroba and Tonami Flower Market, which sell Toyama flowers, specialty products, and food and drinks. Next, take a leisurely stroll through the colorful garden. Walking along a path lined with flowers will naturally soften your heart.The season of fresh greenery.You’ll slowly walk down a tree-lined path where the gentle sunlight filters through the trees.The leaves of the trees will shine with the fresh, young color of the leaves, and the tulips at your feet will be in full bloom.You’ll never get tired of walking.The chirping of birds and distant laughter overlap pleasantly with the lively scenery, and your steps will feel natural. Next is the “Otani of Flowers” in the central area.This place is based on the Snowy Valley of Tateyama.I tried to recreate the snow wall with flowers stacked high, but there was a huge line here as well, so I gave up and just looked at it from outside.After leaving the Otani of Flowers, I passed through the plaza where the children played, passed Bubble Sky and the Dutch-style flower bed again, and headed to the watermill in the central area.I LOVE Turn left on the flower path. This is a little-known spot where you can enjoy the tulips at a leisurely pace with relatively few people. It’s a place where you can take a breather as time passes by. While looking at the five waterwheels again , head to the south area. After that, return to the north area and enter the final stage of the walk. After going around the water flower bed and circular flower bed, stop at Toyama’s gourmet plaza, where there are lots of local dishes and snacks that look delicious.
